CHAPTER 54 - MAYA'S MASTER

Amos' POV

“Are we stuck here?” I asked Maya who seemed to be panicking for the first time since this situation arose.

“Yes, we are,” she responded, looking around, she walked forward and used her hands, like a blind person trying to find something.

“We are really stuck,” she said running her hand through her hair.

“I knew this was too easy, I should have prepared better,” she mumbled seeming to be in a monologue with herself.

“You really thought we were going to let you leave here just like that?” A voice asked behind us, we turned to see who it was and I was shocked by the sight before me.

I saw skeletons, half-dead women, witches, and some elves, all women being led by a woman I assumed to be a doctor.

“I wanted to deal with you later but I guess, we would have to do this now,” Maya said cracking her neck and adjusting her shoulders.

“Why you are doing this is what I cannot understand,” the doctor said to Maya before sending one of the skeletons to fight her.
