CHAPTER 51 - ANXIOUS FOR THE TRUTH

Amos’ POV

“Did you find it?” I asked Jack who had recovered rather quickly in the past week, he had reported to work almost immediately.

“Nothing yet Alpha, whoever did this must be really good at it,” he said shaking his head in frustration.

“Even with all the connections you still found nothing?” I asked again, unable to believe what Jack was saying to me.

“The only things I found were scattered clues, they don't make any sense and do not relate to each other,” Jack replied handing me a file.

I looked through it and sure enough, the clues didn't make any sense, my interactions with Avery these past few days had heightened my senses to how much I took for granted.

“Keep looking, dig six feet if you have to,” I said to Jack as I dismissed him, I didn't care what heights he had to go to but needed some tangible information about my mate and soon-to-be bride.

The bride part was still in process but I was sure of what I wanted this time.
