The sound of hurried footsteps and frantic voices filled the large conference room in Enzo’s estate. Enzo stood at the head of the table, his expression thunderous. Papers, laptops, and screens displaying financial data were strewn across the room. Luca and Nico flanked him, their grim faces matching his fury. Sienna stood near the back, silently observing the chaos, her mind working overtime.

Enzo slammed his fist on the table. “How the hell did Diego manage to breach our networks? We had redundancies, backups—everything locked down.”

“He’s not working alone. Someone on the inside had to feed him access points.” Luca said grimly.

Nico nodded. “This isn’t just one hit. He’s been targeting smaller accounts, chipping away at us piece by piece. We didn’t notice until it was too late.”

“And now we’re bleeding money. He’s using my resources against me.” Enzo lamented, his voice sharp.

Sienna stepped forward. “Let me take a look at the data.”

All eyes turned to her. Luca scoffed, crossing

The hum of engines filled the air as Enzo’s convoy approached the outskirts of one of Diego Torres’ fortified strongholds. The moonlight cast an eerie glow over the abandoned industrial site. Enzo, seated at the front of the lead vehicle, stared ahead with icy determination. Sienna was by his side, her face pale but set with quiet resolve.“Are you sure about this? Sienna asked gently. “Diego won’t go down easily.”“He hit me where it hurts. Now I’m returning the favor.” Enzo answered without looking at her. “I know, but…” Sienna paused. “Be careful. He’s expecting this.”Enzo finally glanced at her. “I’m always careful. That’s why I’m still here.”Behind them, Luca and Nico prepared their weapons, exchanging tense glances.“Diego’s not going to roll over. He’s going to fight like hell to keep this place.” Luca stated matter of factly.“That’s why we’ve got the upper hand.” Nico said, checking his rifle. “He’s cocky. He’ll think we’re predictable.”“Let’s hope you’re right.” Luca gru

The flicker of Enzo’s desk lamp cast long shadows across the room. Sienna sat across from him, poring over files that Nico had pulled from Marco’s old safe house. Papers were strewn across the desk, marked with Marco’s sharp, cryptic handwriting.“Have you seen this name before? Javier Solano?” Sienna said pointing to a name scrawled on a document. Enzo leaned forward, narrowing his eyes. “No. Who is he?”“That’s what I’m trying to figure out. His name keeps popping up, linked to Mateo.” Sienna said. “And look at this—” she holds up a letter. “It’s from Marco, addressed to him. He wasn’t just a contact, Enzo. Marco was grooming him for something bigger.”“You’re saying Marco had a backup plan?” Enzo said, voice tightening. “Exactly.” Sienna concurred. “If Marco couldn’t take you down himself, he made sure someone else would pick up where he left off.”“This isn’t just a loose end. This is a damn threat.” Enzo raged, his jaw tightening. “Why am I only hearing about this now?”Nico st

The tension in the study was suffocating. Enzo stood by the window, his fingers wrapped tightly around a glass of whiskey. Sienna paced the room, the news Federico had just delivered still ringing in her ears.“Diego’s got Alessandro. Word is, he’s being interrogated.”“Interrogated or tortured?” Enzo said, gritting his teeth. “Does it matter?” Federico asked cynically. “If he hasn’t talked yet, he will soon. He was playing both sides.”Sienna stopped mid-pace. “He might not. My father can manipulate Diego to his own advantage.”Enzo turned to her, his tone sharp. “Don’t be naive. Diego isn’t the type to wait for someone to crack. He’ll break Alessandro, one way or another.”“You think I don’t know that?” Sienna snapped. “He’s my father!”“And that’s exactly why I need you to think clearly. If he talks, it’s not just him on the line—it’s you, and by extension, all of us.” Enzo said in a low voice.Later, the core group gathered in the villa’s war room. Luca leaned against the wall, a

The smell of smoke still lingered in the air as Enzo walked through the charred remains of the warehouse. Broken crates and scorched walls surrounded him, a brutal reminder of the previous night’s retaliatory attack. Federico followed closely behind, his face grim, while Luca and Nico trailed silently.“How did this happen?” Enzo asked coldly.“They came in the middle of the night, fully armed.” Federico grimaced. “They knew the layout, Enzo. Every blind spot, every weak point.”“You’re telling me this was an inside job?” Enzo demanded sharply.“It has to be. There’s no other way they could’ve gotten in this cleanly.” Federico answered grimly.“This is Marco’s mess.” Luca said, tightening his fists. “His betrayal gave them everything they needed.”“It’s not just Marco.” Nico muttered, gritting his teeth. “Diego’s growing bolder. This wasn’t just an attack; it was a warning.”Enzo stared at the ground, his voice low, “A warning that he’s coming for everything.”Hours later, the core te

Diego Torres sat at the head of a long, sleek conference table, surrounded by his top lieutenants. The air was tense, the men silent as Diego reviewed reports on their recent attacks against Enzo.“We’re making progress.” Diego said, tapping his fingers on the table. “Enzo’s scrambling, his losses mounting. But we’re not there yet.”Mateo Salazar leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips.“Enzo’s bleeding, Diego.” Mateo said casually. “He’ll be finished soon. The real question is—what happens after?”Diego’s eyes narrowed, suspicious of the pointed question.“After?” Diego asked. “We take everything he has. His men, his territory. The Blackthorn Syndicate becomes a footnote in history.”Mateo leaned forward. “And who leads after that? You?”The room fell silent, the tension palpable. Diego stared at Mateo, his jaw tightening.“Careful, Mateo. You’re playing a dangerous game.” Diego said coldly.Mateo shrugged. “I’m just saying, sharing power isn’t exactly your style.”Bef

"I’ll admit, Mateo, I didn’t think you’d have the guts to show your face here after the last botched operation and you taking out my man Raul..""You wound me, Diego.” Mateo smiled. “I’m here to smooth things over, not to fight old battles."Diego snorted. "Smooth things over? You lost me a key man and three shipments. Three! And now Enzo’s moving in on my docks because of your incompetence.""Enzo’s move was strategic.” Mateo said suavely. “He’s playing us against each other, Diego. You know this. If we don’t work together, he’ll bleed us both dry."Diego narrowed his eyes. "And you expect me to trust you after everything?"Mateo: "Trust isn’t necessary. Mutual interest is. The soft hum of the city filtered through the partially open windows of Enzo’s office. Luca, Nico, and Sienna stood around the large oak table scattered with maps and surveillance photos. Enzo leaned forward, his knuckles pressed against the edge, the tension in his frame palpable."We’re at a tipping point. Mateo and Diego are circling each other like wolves.” Enzo said calmly but firmly. “We’re going to give them a reason to tear each other apart."Luca crossed his arms. "You’re playing with fire, Enzo. Mateo might be predictable, but Diego? He’ll gut us all just to prove a point."Nico nodded. "Luca’s right. This isn’t a game. If this backfires—""It won’t backfire.” Enzo cut him off. “We’ve spent months dismantling their alliances. They’re paranoid, desperate. The room was dimly lit, with a single lamp casting flickering shadows over the scattered documents on the table. Sienna leaned over a dossier, her brow furrowed. Across from her, Luca sat with his arms crossed, his usual skepticism replaced by quiet focus.“Look at this.” Sienna pointed at a document. “Transfers, encrypted communications, all routed through dummy accounts tied to Diego’s shell companies. There’s no way this isn’t coordinated.”Luca leaned forward. “So you’re saying we have spies in the organization feeding intel directly to Torres?”Sienna nodded. “Not just spies. A network. This didn’t start overnight. Whoever’s running this has been building it for years.”Luca exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair. “Damn it. Enzo needs to know.”“Not yet.” Sienna countered firmly. “If we alert him now, we risk tipping off the network. We need to dismantle it quietly, piece by piece.”Luca narrowed his eyes. “You’re asking me to keep this from him? That’s a dangerous game

But let’s not pretend you didn’t have doubts.”Enzo’s expression darkened slightly. “I still do. People like us don’t get clean slates. We build something good, and someone always wants to tear it down.”Federico’s grin faded. “You think Fabio's going to make a move?”Enzo sighed. “I don’t know. But I don’t trust him to sit back and do nothing.”Federico leaned forward. “So what’s the plan?”Enzo tapped the papers. “We keep expanding. Fabio looked relaxed, sipping his wine, but Enzo wasn’t fooled. The man never did anything without an angle.Sienna sat beside Enzo, her presence a silent anchor. She had wanted to come, and Enzo hadn’t argued. If this meeting was going where he thought it was, she had every right to hear it for herself.Fabio set his glass down with a satisfied sigh. “You’ve done well for yourself, Enzo. Clean slate, legitimate business—quite the transformation.” He smirked. “But you know how it is. "I need you to hear me on this, Federico. If I ever suspect you're doing anything illegal—anything—I will cut you off without hesitation. He’d known this call would come eventually. “Luca, I told you—”“I know what you told me,” Luca cut him off, his frustration bleeding through. “But this isn’t something I can just figure out on my own. There’s a situation brewing between the Rojas and the Castillos. It’s bad.”Enzo pinched the bridge of his nose. “That’s not my problem.”“The hell it isn’t,” Luca snapped. “Nico’s trying to keep things steady, but if this war blows up, it’ll reach him too. He didn’t deny it. “I won’t lie to you. Your name carries… a certain reputation.
