When I walked back into the party I was feeling refreshed and confident.

I found my eyes looking around for Desiree and I spotted her just at the far end of the room with her mom…

If I didn't have a mom I would have said I didn't understand how much Desiree loves her mom.

It was such a wonderful night and I had fun even though I didn't drink. I had fun just seeing Desiree have fun with her mom and her best friend Lois, with the people she loves so much.

I never thought I was going to feel content at all in life, but for the first time I felt content, I felt fulfilled.

I looked down on my laptop as I replied to emails upon emails, I knew I wasn't going to sleep anytime soon!!

I looked back at Desiree who was in the kitchen trying to get something to eat. She had also asked me if I was Interested in satisfying my belly. I respectfully declined. I was way more than satisfied already, off of what???
