I walked down to the VIP lounge to wait till my plane started boarding. I had my luggage in one hand and my coat in the other.

The airport has always been a place of inspiration for me. I took my spot in the lounge and decided to rest.

My sleep was hindered throughout the previous night either by random thoughts or just uneasiness.

“Good day sir, is there anything we could provide you with sir?”

“Just a cup of coffee, thank you!” I simply ordered.

My love for coffee can be traced back to when I was in 11th grade. I wanted to feel like the adults that would wake up, get dressed and the next thing they set out to get is a cup of coffee.

It felt that it was normal and meant to be routine.

The first time I tried it, it had a very weird taste but I learnt you could either grow out of it or make some personal modifications to your own cup of coffee.

I would prefer the statement; "your own cup of coffee" rather than “your own cup of tea”!
