I waited patiently and watched from afar to see if Damien would get my message and not too long after the apprentice came out and went back in. The same stone was thrown back outside.

I didn't run to pick it up immediately.

I saw a small boy who was running around and I paid him a little coin to help me get the stone.

He did it happily and handed the stone over to me.

“It was the same sheet I threw! Did he even read it? I opened the sheet and turned it to the back to see that Damien also had a little message for me.

“Get me King Edward’s fiancee and I will release your mother to you as soon as possible.”

Damn, what does he want from me? Why does he keep getting me involved in the silly affairs between him and his nephew?

I just want my mother back, I am not even trying to fight for my kingdom, all I want is my mother but what choice do I have when I am dealing with a demon?

I can't face Damien in this lifetime or the next. I just need to be diplomatic with him.

He wants Edward
