As I emerged from the stream, senses heightened by the eerie feeling of being watched, I could feel the weight of someone's presence lingering nearby. Hastily wrapping my torn and blood-soaked clothes around my body, I scanned the area, heart pounding in my chest.

"Who's there?" I called out, but the only response was the hush of the forest around me. Determined to leave this unsettling place, I began to tread cautiously away from the stream,

But the feeling persisted, the sensation of being observed refusing to dissipate. I stopped abruptly, spinning around to confront the unseen watcher once more.

"Who's there?" I demanded, my voice echoing through the trees.

Then, as if summoned by my words, a figure emerged from the shadows. A young woman, her pale skin and hair lending an otherworldly quality to her presence.

"I'm sorry," she spoke softly, her voice tinged with an unfamiliar accent. I’m so sorry that I was peeping at you, I wasn’t snooping around…
