Third Person POV;Aleena sat back in the West Wing of Damien's mansion staring into space. She looked around the guest room designated to her, she loathed it. Not because it was not a beautiful place, because it was just as luxurious as any other room in the mansion, but she wanted to be in none other than Damien's bedroom. She hated the fact that he had gotten married to someone that was not her and even worse, a middle class woman like Ariana. It made no sense to her how he would stoop so low and get married to a nobody when she was right there loving him tirelessly from day one.She had thrown a major tantrum when Tracy had called to inform her of Damien's engagement which she had discarded as a rumor she saw on the internet. She wanted to rush down to Los Angeles immediately but her shooting schedule back in the Maldives did not let her. She called Damien but it all went to voi
Ariana's POV;I was seated at the balcony working on my laptop as usual. It had been about a week and there was still not a word from Damien. I was not in any way surprised about his actions though, plus it's not like I wanted to speak to him anyway.I stepped inside the room to get something - a pillow for my aching back. I had been seated in one position for hours and I was not in the mood to lie down so taking a pillow was the next best option.I heard a slight rapping on the door so I halted in my movement just to be sure I was not assuming anything.I heard the sound again but louder this time, that was cue to walk over to the door and pull it open."Hi.""Oh, uh, hi Aleena." I said, wondering what she wanted this time."Can I come in?" She requested."Hmm okay..." I said and sidestepped for her to get in. She flipped around as soon as she entered while I push
I stared up at the tall building as I got down from the vehicle. The ride took about fourty five minutes from the house so it was quite a distance, it was a good thing I left quite early. I walked in and said hello to the receptionist at the lobby who responded with a warm smile. I informed her about my reason for being there and she directed me to take a seat. There was not a lot of people seated, just about five of them so I guessed I still had a good chance. The wait lasted for nearly an hour and it seemed like everyone else was being drilled thoroughly in their interviews. I swallowed, suddenly nervous. "Ma'am, you can go in now." The receptionist said to me and I stood up, adjusted the hardly present creases on my skirt before walking. I followed her direction and the next thing I knew, I found a mahogany door that fit the description the receptionist had given me. I knocked and waited for a reply whilst rocking back and forth on my heels. "Come in." I heard a male voice
Damien's POV; I stared down at her crying self in my arms. She looked so vulnerable as she sobbed heavily with her chest heaving up and down. Her make up had smeared my white shirt but I did not care about it. I just hated watching her cry. An iota of guilt seeped into me at the realization that I was the cause of her pain. She was unhappy because I had roped her into my world but there was nothing that could be done to change it, at least not for a while. I reached for the box of wipes I found up in one of the compartments. I picked it up with my right hand while my left hand still held her by her waist. I pulled out a wipe and slowly wiped her eyes, she shivered at the contact and looked up into my eyes. Her eyes were bloodshot from all the crying and the sadness in them was evident. I said nothing while I wiped her makeup off with another wipe. I held her chin up a bit and wiped her beautiful plump lips slowly to rid it of the red lipstick she had applied on it. I trailed my ind
I slammed the bathroom door behind me and leaned on it, breathing heavily. I walked over to the sink, put my hand under the running tap and sprinkled some water on my flushed face. My mind went over to what just happened. How was I going to face Damien's mother after what she just saw?! She had caught us in a compromising position and it was absolutely unexpected. What was I doing? I was not supposed to be allowing Damien get this close to me. The make out session we had was not supposed to happen and it would have escalated if I had not regained my senses. I hated it because it felt so wrong but at the same time so right. I loved his kisses but not him and I feared that if I let it continue, things would escalate even further and then there would be some form of emotional attachment to him and if he did not share the same feelings, I would be left all alone to bear the burden of unrequited love. I shut my eyes at the thought of that happening. I shook my head vigorously, I would not
I was fast asleep late into the night when I heard the door come open. Instinctively I opened my eyes, sat up on the bed and put on the lamp beside me. With the room dimly illuminated now, I looked up at the figure standing in the middle of the room, staring straight at me. "Why are you here?" He questioned gazing at me with an unreadable glint in his eye. He tilted his head while waiting for me to speak. I was hesitant to speak at first knowing how he was but then I garnered courage and eventually spoke up. "I don't want to sleep in the same room as you anymore." I stated, avoiding his piercing gaze as I did. "My decision is final and there's nothing you would do to change it." I uttered firmly. I stared up at him after a few moments of silence. He was not saying anything and it somehow worried me. "Fine, have it your way." He said as he shoved his right hand into his pant pocket. I was shell shocked that he agreed just like that, I so wanted to blurt my thoughts out but I thoug
I was up as early as five in the morning and by six thirty, I was seated in the car and on my way for the interview. Considering that we left quite early, there was hardly any traffic and we got to Avilla Corp about thirty minutes later. I was an hour early and I had no idea what I would be doing in there so I decided to stay back in the vehicle reading through some stuff on my phone. Miguel and I conversed for a while and before I knew it, it was nearly 8am. I exhaled, feeling my nerves getting to me. I was not sure what to expect, I lowkey feared that what happened with my first interview would repeat itself and I did not want it. "Wish me luck." I said to Miguel before stepping out of the vehicle. I walked through the tinted glass doors and found myself in the exquisite building with a clean wide lobby. It was a skyscraper, just like Damien's and looked just as big and sophisticated. I walked up to the reception to ask for directions to the exact place for the interview.
Damien's POV; I reached for my phone and checked the caller ID for who had been buzzing my phone non stop. I slid the green button and dropped it since it was connected to my airpods m "Miguel." I said into the phone, still focused on my computer screen as I read through some mails. "Good day sir, she's done with her interview." He informed. I hummed. "Anything else I should know?" I probed. "She had a confrontation with some girl who claimed to being your ex while at Starbucks." He sounded really amused and that intrigued me, I wanted to get the full details. "Go on." I said. Miguel went on to narrate what had happened and I chuckled. I never thought Ariana had it in her, she was always so sweet and quiet. I secretly wished I had seen her in action but I was putting her at arm's length now. The call ended and I got back to work. I had lots of meetings to attend, lots of documents to read through, the thousands of staff I had did not reduce my stress at all, it only heigh
Third Person's POV; Three years later... "Are you kidding?" Damien asked, putting down Damon who had jumped on him the moment he stepped into the house and refused to be set down until they had arrived to meet his mother in the master bedroom. "Carried you for nine months only for you to not just look exactly like your father but also be so attached to him." Ariana had muttered sourly when Damon wouldn't come to her nor Darian who was the more reserved kid. The twins turned out to have more of their father's genes than hers, from the eyes to hair color, down to the nose and almost everything they did was like Damien. She found it more unfair cause they were identical. Now this was what led to the matter at hand. "Irma..." He dragged out, tugging off his jacket before unbuttoning his shirt. "I'm not kidding. I found out today." She said, getting up from the bed as she flipped her hair to the back. "How come?" He was in a maze of shock. "How else do people get pregnant?" She sarc
Final chapter Damien's POV; It had been way over an hour. She squeezed my palm so tightly as she pushed, screaming her lungs out while at it. I just wanted to cry but I had to be strong for her. "I'm tired, I'm so tired." She sobbed, her voice had gone hoarse from all that screaming. She had hair glued to her forehead due to sweat. It broke my heart to see her like this but she still looked so effortlessly beautiful. "Come on babe, we can do this." I encouraged her. She was panting heavily. "You're crowning, you're almost there!" The nurse yelled. She pushed again with all her might, grunting deeply until we heard the first cry of a baby. I wanted to jump and pump my fist in the air until I remembered we still had another baby to think about. She laid down breathing heavily for a minute or so before she pushed hard again at the nurse's instruction and once again, we heard the cry of our second child. Our twins were finally here! I kissed her before joining the the family to c
Ariana's POV; "Twins?!" Damien looked like he was about to faint. He accompanied me for my doctor's appointment as usual and we just found out that we're expecting twins. I swallowed and blinked rapidly, trying to fight the overjoyed smile that was clawing on to my face. Someone wanted just one but his sperm had other plans. "Ariana, I only agreed to having one baby and now we're going to have two of them?! How?" He loosened a few buttons on his shirt. "I don't have twins in my family so this is definitely your fault." I shrugged, smiling at the doctor as he congratulated us. "Oh well, at least you wouldn't have to bother me for another baby in future." He shrugged. Well that's what he thought but time would tell if I was going to have more kids or not. Damien had been the sweetest though. He carried me like an egg just like everyone else back at the house. Gosh! They wouldn't let me lift a finger after we announced that we were expecting during one of our usual Sunday brunch
Weeks later... I stared down at the beautiful bare bodied woman laying under me that morning. There was something different about her. "Your body's changing." I said plainly, pulling out after I cummed inside her. "What are you talking about?" She asked with a frown. I shook my head. "Nothing at all, just go clean up." I got off her and dragged my pants so I could put them on. I picked up my phone and to do my little research on what I knew about women. She went into the bathroom and came out of the closet in one of my shirts that looked like a dress on her. I watched as she picked up her comb from the vanity and began styling her disheveled hair. "Ariana?" I called out to her. "Yeah babe?" She answered, turning to glance at me before staring back at herself in the mirror. "Are you pregnant?" The comb reflexively dropped from her hand, while she stayed stiff in front of the mirror. "What?" She asked trying to regain her composure. A bit too late, if you ask me. "I asked you
My head pounded as I strained my eyes open."Where am I?" I groaned out, staring at the unfamiliar room."Hello Mrs Kingston."My eyes bulged at the sight of the nurse."Hello." I managed to respond."The doctor's already on his way." She smiled a little too widely for my comfort so I just stared back at her for a few seconds before nodding slightly. The door soon came open. "Hello madam. How are you feeling?""I have a headache and I still feel a bit drowsy." I said. "You'll be fine in not time it's just one of the symptoms.""What symptoms?""Well I have news for you." He said, opening up and envelope containing a sheet of paper. "Congratulations, you're four weeks pregnant."I sat up abruptly. "What?!" I exclaimed, with my eyes almost popping out of their sockets as I grabbed the test result from him. I saw it for myself, it wasn't a prank.Oh shit! "Wow uhm, this is great news." I said, hiding how worried the news got me."Can I go home now?" I asked, looking around for my st
"Why's Zara so shy?" I asked while Kumar took pictures of me in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Damien and I were up early and out of the house to go get Kumar who was going to take us round the city. Our first stop was of course having breakfast at a nice spot before finding our way down to the Palace. "Well uh, she's been through a lot." He said, coming over to show me the photos. "Like what?" I asked, absentmindedly swiping the pictures."I'm not sure it's in my place to tell but Zara was born with a hole in her heart." He sighed, taking the phone from my hand.My hands flew to my mouth as a gasp eluded me."She's always so weak and she believes she's going to die soon so she just keeps to herself all the time. She doesn't even have friends." He said.It felt so bad for her."But the hole can be fixed via surgical procedures right?" "Yeah," he nodded before his eyes drooped. Why hasn't it been done? I wanted to ask but he beat me to it."But we can't afford it." "Oh." I u
"I'm sorry I didn't try hard enough to see you and your father even once. I just didn't have the means." Karla wept. I don't know how but my feet put me in front of her with my knees on the ground and I was soon locked in a warm embrace. "Ay tía!" I sobbed. (Oh auntie!) "Te amo. Siempre tengo." She said, rubbing on my hair. (I love you. I always have) "I'm sorry about the death of your father." I sobbed just a little more at the reminder. "Raj came into my life just before I lost your mother and he's been the best thing that ever happened to me." She stared at him lovingly. "You knew my mother?" I asked him, wiping her eyes. "Yes, though briefly, I know first-hand that she was a beautiful person, inside and out." He said. I smiled and turned back to Karla. "Do you have a picture of her?" I asked. "It's back at our house." She said. "When can I come visit?" I eagerly asked. "Anytime you want." "Babe?" I snapped my head towards Damien. "We'll join you for dinner tomorrow ev
Ariana's POV; "Oh no!" I palmed my forehead whilst shutting my eyes tightly. "Still can't find it?" He worriedly questioned.I shook my head in the negative. "I can't believe I forgot to pack it." I said more to myself than him."Shit babe! Why would you forget something so important?" He actually looked like he had seen a ghost. Was he that scared of us having babies? "I'm sorry, it's just, I-" I didn't know what else to say. "Tell me, you're safe please." He clasped his palms together in plea. I swallowed. I wasn't sure cause the contraceptives had been messing with my cycle ever since I started using them so I really hadn't been keeping track of it. But I couldn't tell him that, it would ruin our entire trip. So, I lied. "I'm safe, I promise." "You're sure?" He probed further and the guilty pang in my heart increased."Uh huh." I nodded. "You said you have something to show me?" I quickly changed the topic, reminding him of the reason why we were in Madrid. We ditched the
My legs shook underneath me and were going to give way if I wasn't careful enough. I blinked rapidly, inhaling and exhaling in quick successions. "You do know you guys aren't actually getting married again and just reaffirming your vows right?" That was the ever so realistic Brianna. "It just feels different. Very different from the first time. And worse still my dad isn't here with me." I finally let the dams flow. "Oh no baby. Group hug guys!" She hollered, calling for all ladies in the room asides the stylists. We were situated in one of the rooms in the West wing. For some reason Ma Rosa thought it was a bad omen for us to see each other before the ceremony. We were already married so what was the fuss? I asked, but everyone else agreed, boxing Damien and I into a tight corner. The week had been hectic and filled with work and we hadn't had time for each other. Putting us apart for the last two days was hell especially because we hadn't had any good deep action throughout th
