You might ask me why I was angry. I don’t know. All I knew was that I had never cared so much about anyone. I cared about her day, about her night, about her feelings, about her love life. The last one annoyed me too much. When I imagined her with someone else, I was ready to break his skull.I had a lot of people in my life. I cared a lot about my family and friends. But the thing was that nobody of them cared as much as I did. That made me stop with this nonsense. But I could never stop caring about Lincoln and Dylan. My siblings meant a lot to me too. But it’s difficult to understand that someone who has loved you practically your whole life, stops doing it without any reason. It was my dad. But this story is for another time. You see when person lets you down, you expect it from others as well. One single person can change you so bad, that you won’t even recognize yourself. This personThe next morning, I woke up earlier than Mia and Bella. It was very boring, so I decided to go somewhere. Well, my feet took me to the boys’ room. I was sure, that teachers havd still been sleeping, so I wouldn’t have got caught. I wanted to knock, but they were already opened. So I got inside the living room and went to the closest doors. I wanted to open them, but I heard some noises. It was Raf and Lincoln arguing... Raffael KingWhen I woke up, I went straight to the kitchen. I was thirsty. While drinking wa
“Is it true?” Dylan asked.I nodded, looking at him flabbergasted. I understood that there was no chance that he would believe me if I said no. He heard every word. I saw his reaction. He became pale and he had to sit on the bed, before he would faint. I hugged him. He was freezing. That reaction was the one, I feared the most.“Dylan! Calm down! Do you hear me? Everything is okay! Breathe in and out! I forgave her. I really did. And she can still be a pure princess for you! But please, stop acting like that!”– I screamed at him.He nodded, but he wasn’t blinking. &
Kylie WalkerIn the morning I woke up and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I wore some casual clothes, ready to eat some breakfast.I went downstairs and saw Linc.“Wow! You can wake up early?” I asked surprised.“Something like that also happens, even though rarely,” Lincoln stated and I chuckled.“So when are we going?”“They will come over and we’ll go together to the sk
“Wow! How did you do it? It was amazing, spine-chilling, but still amazing!” I exclaimed.“I’m a pro.” He smirked and winked.I chuckled and we continued skating. For the rest of the time, I was with Raf. As I noticed, when James was coming closer, Raf would give him a dead glare and his grip on my hand would tighten. That’s why, James didn’t try taking me away again, I guess. “It was so funny!” Mia screamed, as we went back to the locker room, changing our shoes.“Right? I love skating!” Dylan agreed.“Remember, how we were always competing together? Raf, Dylan and I. And the winner was always Raf.” Linc rolled his eyes.“Well, what can I say? It’s a gift and a punishment.” Raf smirked. We laughed.“Why is it a punishment?” I asked.“Because I have a lot of haters,” he exp
Kylie WalkerI woke up at seven A.M. because of the noises in the kitchen. I remembered Raf’s night call. I wanted to smile and wanted to cry at the same time. I was sorry for Raf’s situation. He is the person, who loves too much and not asks anything in return. But when people really give him nothing in return, it’s difficult and painful.I got up and went straight downstairs. It was my dad, making breakfast. He had to go early to the work.“Good morning!” I said.“Oh, my little princess woke up! Good morning!” he exclaimed and kissed me. “Do you have any plans for today?”“Guys will come over and we will decide, I think. Because yesterday, we were too busy, enjoying that day to think about the next one.”“It’s great! I heard there’s opened a new cinema in the shopping center. Maybe you should visit it?” &l
I did the same. We went out of the shopping center and I had to stop, because I was out of breath. He stopped too.“King! Are you out of your mind?” I screamed. He laughed.“It was funny!” he exclaimed.“Yes, but I am not a football player like you. I’m as slow as a snail!”He laughed and looked back slowly.“Run!” he screamed and we continued running. When we were near my house, we stopped.“Why did he continue running?” I asked, when I jumped on the couch.“Oh, he didn’t,” he stated.“What did that mean? You looked back and screamed: ‘run’!”“Yes, because it was funnier when you have an adrenaline rush. But that guard was even slower than you and was super lazy. He stopped running when he got the glasses.”“You made me run for so long?” I screamed angrily.
When I opened my eyes, I was on the couch, surrounded by my friends who were screaming and asking what they should do. I was shaking from cold and felt extremely weak. The room was spinning and I heard echos. I couldn’t understand clearly what was happening. It was like I woke up from a nap. But I wanted to close my eyes, because I felt like going back to sleep. But I knew that by doing it, you are not going to sleep, you are going back to unconsciousness. I opened my eyes completely.“Peanut?” Raf asked, as he looked at me. Everyone stopped doing their things and glanced at me.“God! Don’t scare us so much!” Mia exclaimed and hugged me.“What happened?” I asked bewildered.“You fainted and fell down from the stairs. If Raf hadn’t caught you, you would have been injured very bad,” Jeremy explained.“Thank you.” I looked at Raf and put my hand on his.
He fell silent. He was getting angrier and started breathing heavily. And suddenly doors opened. Guys came in.“Oh, that’s where you were,” Linc said.“I decided to help Peanut,” Raf explained.James opened his mouth to start, but I understood what he was going to say. That’s why I looked at him in the annoyed way. He stopped. That day nothing new happened, but I went to my room to sleep a little. After the pill and tea I got better, but still felt weak. The next day, as always guys went for a walk, but Raf stayed with me. He was very helpful, because I couldn’t be on my own at home. Sometimes my temperature went low, but most of the day it still was high.We went to my room and I decided to stay there.“Do you want something?” Raf asked me, as he helped me lie down.“No, just sit with me,” I stated. He sat on my bed near me and
“Are you serious?” I asked shocked. He nodded and pulled me to the helicopter. “But what about our friends and family?” I continued. “The plane will take them! Let’s go!” he yelled and we went inside. “We are going to be pilots, Mrs. King to be,” Raf stated. “Really?!” I asked shocked. He nodded and I ran to the pilot seat and put the headphones on which I found there. He sat on the other seat. The whole flight I had a big smile plastered on my face. I was so happy. It seemed like that whole day was about surprises, shock and happiness. That what my life has been consisted of, since we became a couple. But now we are going to be a wife and a husband! As we landed the helicopter, we saw the plane landing too. It was the rented plane for our guests. The car arrived and we went to the registry office. I wouldn’t tell you how it was, but as we were engaged, we were about to go to the wedding. It was too fast and unexpected
10 years later...“Mommy!” I heard a thin voice calling me.“Daddy!” the other one continued. I woke up and so did Raf.“Merry Christmas!” I said sleepily and took Isabelle on the bed.“Merry Christmas!” Raf exclaimed and took Adam on the bed.“Are you ready to unwrap your gifts?” I asked kids.“Yes!” they screamed in unison and ran out of our room. Raf and I chuckled and turned to face each other.“Merry Christmas, Peanut!” he exclaimed, rubbing his finger on my cheek.“Merry Christmas!” I exclaimed and kissed him.“Let’s go?”“Yes, but wait a little bit!”“Do you remember Christmas 6 years ago?” I asked, laughing.“It’s hard to forget.” He chuckled. 6 years ago...“Ky
She nodded.“The surgery went successfully! She is cancer free! Congratulations!” doctor exclaimed. We breathed out. It was a great relief.“Thank you, Doctor! You saved our grandma!” dad exclaimed and shook his hand.“It’s my job! I’m happy to give you such news!” he continued and left. All of us hugged immediately. We were very happy. I couldn’t be more excited. A lot of things got better and it seemed like every other problem became nothing.“Dad, how many days should she stay in the hospital?” I asked.“4-7 days. I think everything will be alright. They just need to look after her, so the diseases don’t come back,” dad answered.“Okay.” I nodded.“But you have to go back to Spain.”“What?! I can’t leave my granny!”“We will look after her! It’s more than enough.
Next day was a great and a scary one. Granny had to get her operation done. We were happy about her getting rid of cancer, but of course, every surgery without exception was regarded as a dangerous and a serious one. But that morning was a happy different and the best one. I woke up, understanding that soon Raf was going to come and there wouldn’t be an awkward silence or the pain beating in the chest, because of the unspoken words. There would be his hugs, support, love and the knowledge of his feelings for me. That was what I had been craving for since my mom died. I needed the person who would take care of me, understand and love me, the same way, she did once. And Raf appeared to be that person. People say, that there are parts in the world. They are divided at first, but the goal of the life is to find the lost half of your heart and soul. Ras was the one. He found the key to my heart which was lost and have never been found till
When we arrived at the same beach, as I was in the end of the last summer, it was evening. Soon would be the sunset, the way we wanted. The wind was warm but strong. Uncle took from the bag a blanket and put it down on the sand. We sat on it. “We brought some food!” dad exclaimed and took the basket full of food out of his trunk.“When did you manage to do it?” granny asked.“While you were playing in the amusement park, we ordered the food,” uncle explained.”It’s amazing!” I exclaimed. We started eating. There were a lot of sandwiches, bottles of coke, a big plate of salad and a huge cake. When we finished eating, Raf whispered:“Can we talk?”I nodded and he helped me to get up. I wanted to talk to him today too. And it was the best place and time for that conversation. We went a little bit farther and decided to go behind the huge stone.
I went downstairs and sat at the table. There wasn’t Raf. We started eating. I was thinking of the words I had to tell him. Maybe I was stupid, but it meant a lot for me. It was the first time I had ever fallen in love with someone and something told me that it was the last time. I needed to know if it was a reciprocated love. When we were done, we went outside to sit in the car. There was Raf. He was like always sitting on his motorbike. Everyone sat in the car and I sat next to him on the bike. We were driving to the park. I wasn’t distancing myself, I took a hold of his waist and put my head on his back. He looked at me, surprised of my action. Yes, I was confusing. One second I could run I away, but the next second I would pull him in my embrace. And I hoped he would be the only one who understood me. When we arrived to the park, we parked the car and bike and went inside.“I want to ride on carousel!” grandma sc
“Yes,” he answered.“But she said, that she wasn’t,” I said.“That’s for you to be okay. But I can see, how nervous she is. She is scared of dying, and it’s understandable,” dad said.“But is it dangerous?” I asked.“Every surgery is dangerous. But I’m sure that nothing bad will happen with her.”“That’s why she wants to have some fun, before it?” Linc asked.Uncle and dad nodded.“She wants to get distracted. And she wants to spend a lot of time with you, because she thinks that she won’t survive,” uncle added. “But we will make that day the best one. She has to relax and stop being nervous. Can’t it make everything worse?” I asked.“In some way yes, but don’t worry! Tomorrow we’ll make sure she will have a lot of fun. She will completely forget about her
Next day, we had to go the doctor’s appointment. It looked like she had to get her first chemotherapy. I woke up at 7:30 and started getting ready. I wore a pair of jeans, white T-shirt and trainers. I made a ponytail and put on some gloss. I went downstairs and saw guys sitting on the couch with grandma. Uncle and dad were cooking breakfast. I sat on the couch and joined the conversation. I noticed that Raf wasn’t there. Probably, he went home last night.“Good morning!” I said.“Good morning!” everyone said back.“What are you talking about?”“Nothing interesting,” grandma answered.I nodded. I knew exactly that they were lying, but I didn’t want to push it. When breakfast was ready, we sat together at the table and started eating. Everybody was silent. I guess they were tensed about the chemotherapy. We knew that everything would change. Her hai
He looked at his computer and started analyzing the results.“There is a pice of good news! It’s the first stage. It can be recovered. You just have to get some chemistry procedures and then the surgery will help you get better.”All of us breathed out.“How many procedures will there be?” I asked.“We can’t tell the exact amount, but not much,” he answered.“When can we start?” dad asked.“Come tomorrow at nine A.M.,” he said.“Thank you, Doctor,” dad stated and shook his hand.Uncle did the same. Then we left the hospital. “Don’t you want some ice cream?” granny asked us.“I do,” Linc answered.“Me too! Boys, buy some ice cream for us,” she tuned to uncle and dad.“Your wish is our command!” dad said.“We will go home! It’s such a fresh ai
