Victoria's POV

I watched from a dim corner, my heart pounding as Julian leaned in and kissed Sophie. A surge of fury bubbled up inside me, and for a fleeting moment, I considered charging out of my hiding place to tear them apart. But Jaxon placed a firm hand on my shoulder, grounding me in my frustration.

As Julian waved goodbye and walked away, leaving Sophie standing there like a lost puppy, I stepped out of my hiding spot and clapped my hands together. Sophie turned to me, her expression shifting as she wiped away the tears on her cheeks.

"Stop with those fake tears, Sophie," I said, my voice dripping with disdain. "I know you really wanted him to go away so you could be free to indulge in your rubbish."

Her response was quick, laced with venom. "Do you think everyone is like you, fucking every dick you see?"
