Chapter 61 Getting engaged

Evan’s POV:

After resting for ten days, the wound on her wrist more or less healed up.

On the day she was getting discharged, I went to the hospital to pick her up. Mia and Frank were also there.

“Oh, Evan, now that Tina has been discharged from the hospital, what is your plan for marriage?” Mia asked.

With a barely manageable smile, I answered, “We planned to go pick the wedding gown in a few days, but only after Tina’s body had completely recovered. After that, we will pick an auspicious date to get engaged.”

Hearing that Mia’s mouth twitched slightly.

I could tell from Mia’s expression that she was not satisfied with my answer.

“Okay, then. You two call the shots. As your elders, we will only offer our advice when needed. Let’s hop in.”
