Anya’s POV:

I had just hidden the phone when the maids came over with the fruit mix I had requested.

“Ms Walter, the fruit mix is ready as per your instruction. We added strawberries, blueberries, coconut juice and milk.”

“Alright, thank you!”

Singh this Jerry couldn’t help but drool. He demanded, “Mommy, I want to eat too.”

“Then you can have it.”

“Jerry, Mommy needs her nutrition. How can you snatch her food?”

“It’s okay. Mommy doesn’t have much of an appetite anyway!”

“Then we will enjoy it.”

“Yup!”

“If you two like it, we will make another bowl.”

“Great!”

When the two little boys heard that they began to eat the fruit mix happily.

Half an hour later, Evan come back holding a few bags.

“I have bought the food.”

“Thank you.”

He placed the porridge and cakes on the dining table.

I felt a little embarrassed, and I felt a little uneasy.

I just wanted a reason to send Evan away. There was nothing else I could think of, so I could only give such a lousy reason.
