Tina’s POV:

At the staircase, when I heard Evan calling Anya, my face contorted with anger.

Anya had nearly driven Grace to her grave, yet Evan not only harbored no anger towards her but also showed concern.

I took a deep breath, my eyes widened and my fingers clenched into a tight fist.

“Anya you damn bitch! You have really outdone yourself. You managed to make Evan forgive you! Evan, I will never let you be with Anya.” I thought to myself.

Evan was still on the phone.

I pretended everything was normal and quickly returned to the ward, obediently waiting outside.

Evan’s POV:

After wrapping up my call, I coincidentally found myself face-to-face with the doctor who had come to check up.

“Hey, Doc, how is my grandma doing today?” I asked with concern.

“The accumulation of brain fluid in her isn’t too serve. Judging by her progress, she would wake up with an week.” The doctor replied.

A sense of relief washed over me. “Really? Please make sure to take good care of her, Doc!”
