The two of us woke up in a daze.

“Jason, the sun has risen!”

“Alright! Let’s continue our journey then!”

Then we crawled out from the underground drainage channel.

Upon looking at the sky, the sun was already high up in the sky.

I looked in the vicinity and pointed to a path as he said. “Let’s continue to walk along this path!”

Jerry had been starving ever since the night before. He felt so weak right now after he woke up.

“Jason, I am so hungry and thirsty!”

I felt the same too. Both of us were a little dehydrated.

“Let’s take a look ahead. There is a stream at the foot of the mountain. We could get some water there.”
