“Any sign of her?” Omri asked the worried and frustrated Manasseh, who without a second thought, has roamed around the whole castle to look for Yuna.
“None,” She burst out, now crying after prolonging her sullen agony for more than an hour. What if someone abducted her? What if Yuna was in danger right now?
They need to find Yuna as soon as possible for her existence was something that should be kept confidential from the public. If the Council were to know about her resurrection, death was certain for her or worse, there wouldn't even be a proper burial, and the truth about her real identity would be nothing but a theory.
There's one more place to search, and that is outside the academy. He would not risk wasting the time just by waiting for the so-called ‘All-knowing’ to find her, so he decided to search for her instead.
Without a second thought, he unerringly sprinted towards the white marble balcony in front of them and jumped out with the support of his left hand.
“Omri!” Manasseh exclaimed before he reached the open air.
He felt the sharp wind caressing his delicate and flawless skin as his clothes and hair were dancing with the mightly wind. He was not entirely this protective before and he doesn’t mind these changes at all.
His precise silver hair once possessed the color of the dreadful moonless and starless night and his skin was once bisque before it became this paler. Those were the consequences he took when he accepted this power Yuna gave him.
He is Yuna's successor, the current Life/light Pillar for almost three decades.
As he stretched his non-umber hand, reaching for the cloudless blue sky while he continued to fall, exquisite memories resurfaced in his mind.
Her unforeseen death numbed him from loving again. He tried to shield himself from everything that could remind him of her but he could not even afford not to see her even just a day. Every time he sees her lifeless body, peacefully lying on her soft bed, his tears would soak the floor.
He tried to bury those painful memories away by indulging himself in his paper works and by learning new stuffs unknown to him. He was doing that for almost 30 years and was finally getting used to it, to be honest. Until Yuna surprisingly woke up.
He lost her once and he couldn't afford to lose her again but he knew; he had already lost her heart. Omri only has one more regret left inside of him now; --- that was his unfulfilled promise to her.
Maybe, by finally doing that, would his heart be at ease.

“You said he was locked on one of these rooms after he caused commotion, right?” Yuna asked her little disciple as they stood at the edge of a luxurious hallway. They managed to sneak in without being spotted, of course, with Dale’s supple knowledge about the place.
“Yeah, I even watched how he was harshly dragged away to a certain room on the fourth floor, I have totally forgotten which one.” He informed with that did-you-know tone and gesture.
Yuna hasn’t spoken up, wondering why this kid happily informed her that he indeed was spending time here, which was obviously uncool. Sadly, her face revealed it all, how upset and disfavored she was. Dale saw that, causing him to panic.
“It’s not that I’m peeking or something, I’m just roaming around, I promi---” Before he could even utter a swear, Yuna spoke up.
“Let’s look around then,” She started to stroll first and Dale followed.
They made their footsteps unheard as possible as they could as they walk around the thankfully lonely hallway. Certain soft moans, wails, whines, and whimpers could be heard just outside every door they pass by.
‘Bloody Mother of wrath and death, wake me up!’ She madly thought as she stuffed her hands in her pockets.
Her horrible feeling was leaked in the entire atmosphere, so cold and revolting that it made Dale shrink his neck and quiver as he walked beside Yuna. Never did Dale thought, his teacher was this daunting.
‘Let’s get this done as soon as possible,’ She sighed upon the thought.
They managed to finish walking around the third floor without opening any doors and without stumbling upon any naked entities. As Dale led the way, they reached another wooden stair going up, and they were about to take a step when a shout from behind broke the tottering silence.
“Hey! Da--”
“Run,” Dale, without delay, uttered and run up as Yuna did the same. Things were too fast that she did not even have the chance to take a glimpse of the person who shouted, but Dale acted like it was a sign of danger.
If she remembered it right, the shout almost pertained to Dale. Maybe it was the owner or guard of this place or something like that.
They reached the fourth floor and quickly entered any door to silently hide inside. Scurry footsteps from the outside told them that whoever followed them, they were just outside the room.
“Look there,” A husky male voice pierced through the wooden door.
Yuna and Dale stayed quiet until silence finally enveloped the place.
Yuna heaved a deep sigh. It was her first day here, yet troubles were already spontaneously spawning around her.
‘Damn,’ She frowned.
A laddish loud yawn far beside them then took their unwary attention, almost dismissing the fact that they were in a brothel.
“Doubt the wonder," That's what they heard from him. "Did that annoying pillar came to drag me home again?”
They watched the sleepy guy throb his heavy and sleepy magenta eyes with his palm as he sat on the floor with his back resting on the wall.
His long and straight lavender hair with lumps of small braids gave him the majestic and solemn ambiance. His pointy ears pierced with golden dangling earrings made him more alluring and attractive. His fine and long clothes were close enough to match ancient Rome’s and ancient China's traditional attire combined.
As he pushed his unruly bangs away from his eyes, he saw two speechless guys who looked captivated by his ordinary gesture. With that slim body and attractive face, he wouldn’t even need to shot a smile for female entities to fall for him, but sadly…
“Teacher, he’s the Crazy guy I told you about.” Dale boomed as he pointed at the guy sitting and leaning on the wall in front of them. The thought of why he even failed to recognize him immediately crossed Dale’s mind.
“Crazy?!” The lavender guy shouted to the young ‘Yuu’ni’ who callously called him ‘crazy.’ “You dare to call me with something illogically proven.”
Yes, he was the infamous crazy dude that people literally avoid regardless of his so-called innocent appearance.
“Teacher?”
Yuna was still speechless as she stared at the male elfin, astonished by how the troubles were paid off by implausible coincidences. She was sure thankful though yet uncertain.
“Teacher, are you okay?”
A meager call shattered her thoughts. She shook her head before she glanced down to see Dale with his worried look.
She wondered, was everything a pure coincidence or something more than that?
“You two are not sent here to just pull me back, right?” Zyair narrowed his amber eyes as he scanned the two folks standing in front of him.‘Seemingly an elf, ah no, a sprite and a young ‘Yuu’ni’.” He thoughtfully assumed. No, they were not that familiar to Zyair, except for that silver-haired guy, who had been giving him an uneasy yet familiar feeling. He was a little tall, slim, and was wearing clothes male elfin mostly wear. His messy silver bangs, long entangled hair, and emerald gaze made him look domineering and frigid. That silver hair color though, it only made him remembered that ‘annoying’ brat.“No, my teacher needs your help to look---” Zyair cut the young Yuu’ni off with a zany groan.Regardless of Yuna’s accentuated male features, Zyair was able to see through her disguise; he was the so-called ‘all-knowing’ after all. Not a simple disguise such as those can or will even fool him. “Nah, go away. Do I look like a book of guide to you?” He closed his eyes and decided to
“What do you think about this new ‘Yuna’?” Omri spoke as he leaned to the stone wall inside Zyair’s main office. It was dark and gloomy for him but it was Zyair’s comfort zone.Zyair loves the darkness but that fact about him, never equated that he’s evil.“Hmm,” Zyair hummed as he rested his chin on his intertwined slender fingers. To be honest, this was the first time she met Yuna face to face and alive. Not a clue of what her nature even looked like.
Yuna, as she stared at their food for breakfast in front of her. It was composed of vegetables and fruits known to human men like leafy veggies, oranges, and apples. There were some slices of bread, but not a single piece of meat. ‘Maybe wild animals don’t exist here. What a rather menacing place to be stuck on where meat is not even cultivated.’ She closed her eyes as she sighed upon that thought. She savored her food; it was quite bland and no
A little far beside the Academy was a simple, peaceful, and isolated garden. Colorful and profuse kinds of flowers bloomed in beauty like there’s no tomorrow as they encircled a mature Oak tree. None of the students had access to such a wonderful place for this garden was created out of love.Painful moans and punches then elapses, ruining the sole purpose of this place. Omri fell to the ground and wiped the blood from his bleeding lips. He expected this, most especially from him. He was invited by Hayden for a
"So how about you, why do you love the night so much? Zyair then asked, but instead of an answer, he only watched her pretty smile fade away with sole confusion. She almost let her guard down from this friendly talk; she doesn't know what to say. What if she would say something that isn't known to this world? What if they suspect there's something unusual about her? What if the night sky here wasn't the same as hers? What if?
No, probably not. She closed her eyes, asking herself why she was even this stressed. Well, she deserved that. If she were just to accept this world as her new reality and rebuke science, then she would not be this thwart, but no, she would never discard away her human knowledge even if it was for something certain.
Screeching sounds from the leather boots as it collides with the grassy floor lingered in the air. Their distinct figures overlaid shadows on their path as they plastered placid smiles on their faces, for they are at home. Those humane eyes once wept hot and blinding tears of unspeakable sorrow. Their warm beating hearts once felt the burning rage of pain and anger. Their calm minds, once coveted by overpowering self-pity and loneliness.
“What a beautiful sight, I almost thought I stumbled upon a mirror.” Her oldie female voice trampled the silence. Yuna looked down to meet the chubby old dwarf’s gaze, but she saw no orbs, her eyes were pure white. She realized she was blind but the odd thing was that she knew she was standing there. What do those statements of hers even mean?“Oh, Miss Deyonne, me and my friends came to buy some stuff.” Zyair uttered as he approached Deyonne. Since Deyonne finally took a glance at Yuna, he wanted to know what she saw. What k
Verves surged inside Yuna's body, causing her to gawk her eyes with apparent shock. She was even more stunned when she found herself standing in a vast space of pure white emptiness. A shred of memory then flashed in her mind. Her triumph upon her plan was what she recalled, so what was happening right now?Yuna looked around the empty space until a familiar voice disrupted her search."What an annoying ability," The voice came from behind her and she glanced there only to meet a deviant entity but 'that' voice, it only belonged to the one who tried to confront her. However, in front of her was a floating deformed claret soul without feet, making her look more like a jinni."Where am I?" Yuna asked, for she has no clue about what was
"Damn, not good, not good." Yuna madly muttered as she kept herself alert from the danger lurking in the darkness for she met another threat. The atmosphere was so dense that she knew this wasn't some sort kind of test anymore, but pure bloodlust. Just what the heck did she just manage to wake up, a monster? What a big miscalculation, she just misjudged a mere child, and now the kid ended up enraged and berserk, Yuna was apparently armless."Dammit, where are the freakin' people?"If they were to come, that would be for later. She has one more thing she needed to conclude, that was to whether or not this world does exist, tonight. So for now, she has to stay alive no matter what. Now she has to rely on the senses of a body that she's
Loathe, anger, jealousy, envy, lust, obsession, all these are fires that severely burn, and whoever reaches her hands out to touch its flames is ought to suffer the agony of burning. Thus, reaping what you sow.People are given the privilege to discern what is right from wrong, but it only leads them to the inference that, "What is life without a little FUN?"
Somber and calm was the room for the 'Big Reveal' was on course. She leaned in closer to the eyepiece, taking a peep with eyes both open on the telescope to meet the barren sky. Nothing but a certain shade of blue confined in a black orb. That was all she saw."Neh, I cannot see anything." That it was kind of weird. Yuna frowned as she slowly slanted her head away from the eyepiece to look at the clear evening blue sky. Even if the telescope was sort of old-fashioned, she managed to set up high-potential lenses that could pier
"Take care, everyone." Deyonne waved her wrinkled and plumped hand as she stood by the wooden door. After Yuna and Dale managed to find all that was written on their list, it's time to say goodbye. The three waved back at her before they entered the exquisite and sweet-smelling flower tunnel.
