Another horrifying nightmare woke her up making her sit on the bed. Another room greeted her with a happy morning, not the same as before. Yesterday's accident knocked her off to unconsciousness, wasting the chance for her to think.
Where was she right now?
What happened from her last assassination?
Her memory of being engulfed by a green light was exhibited on her mind.
The fact that she even stumbled upon a rather odd occurrence, magic; he spawned fire on the thin air and the Sirius---star keeper.
'How did I even come here?'
She looked around the room. Everything inside was quite old-fashioned or wasn't something people would even create using the advanced technology that they recently possess except for the wooden tables, chairs, cabinets, and the door.
Odd, she thought.
The walls were peach yellow while the cabinets were brown wood. The window by her right lit the room and not even a bulb on the grey ceiling.
She stood up and looked around with her barefoot until she stumbled upon a flawed mirror. Her eyes gave off hints of disbelief from the unbearable scene. She could not recognize who was in the mirror.
How come it took her this long to realize these changes?
Her long silver hair was not auburn anymore and instead of dark ruby eyes, she found a glittering emerald gaze with cat-like pupils. Pointy ears peeped from her silver hair and her flawless complexion wasn't human's, it was subtle milky white in perspective. She was a bit taller now than the old her, and the fact that she's now wearing an ocean blue dress made her feel so disgraced.
It looked like she was inside of someone else's body, which she was.
Before she could even think more, the door opened making her glance there to see an unexpected figure, a woman resembling an elf depicted by humans. She has pointy ears, curly blond hair, but what astounded her most was her human-like complexion, unlike her porcelain skin. The elfin's clothing made her looked like a certain cosplayer.
She watched her enter as her emerald gaze met her piercing golden orbs.
"You are alive, huh?"
She was astounded by the language the elfin just used. It was vague and foreign but she understood every single word and based on her memory yesterday, she could speak that language too.
What were the odds?
EVERYTHING!!!
The elfin's sour voice only made those words reach her ears with obvious hatred. No, she has no clue of who the elf was.
Whoever owned this body she has now, might have suffered from such hatred, which was quite troublesome if she were to experience it too.
---making her wanting to leave as soon as possible.
"Pfft, haha." The one who created the tense atmosphere laughed. Her laugh was angelic compared to her sour voice before. "I guess I'm not cut off to being a villain. I'm sorry about that." She wiped her teary eyes and turned to look at the familiar and confused silver-haired entity standing far in front of her.
She wasn't really confused but her body made her looked so innocently pure in front of anybody, because all this time, she's been scanning, adopting, and entirely alert in these new surroundings of hers.
"Welcome back, Yuna."
'Yuna?'
'Was that the name of the owner of this body?'
"By the way, here are some clothes for you to change." She closed the door behind and started strolling towards the bed. "Omri is currently on a meeting with the others, but he'll come to visit shortly after that."
She watched the elf lay the clothes on the bed.
"Omri?" Yuna emotionlessly asked as she approached her. She felt a sting of pain after hearing that name bothered her. Was he the guy yesterday?
She could vividly remember now; he wasn't entirely human at all, too.
The elfin looked at her with realization and disbelief. This doll-like girl in front of her had really forgotten about everything, or so they thought.
"Omri, I'm sure you met him yesterday." She sadly muffled, imagining the pain Omri must have felt when he realized Yuna doesn't remember him anymore. "It is me Yuna, Manasseh. I'm just so glad you are finally back. I hated how I have to watch Omri suffer when you died back then. I hated how it pained me, knowing that I lose a friend." She burst out crying, making Yuna freeze.
Fate never exposed her to such intimacy ever since her parents died. She has a clue of how to even comfort someone.
But that wasn't the thing that intrigued her the most, the fact that Manasseh was so-callingly telling her they brought her back alive from being dead. That she was once dead.
'As if that was even possible, is it?'
"How come I can live again?" her gaze was empty as she looked at the sobbing elfin. Manasseh too wasn't expecting that chilling aura that Yuna has been emitting. Was it something to expect from someone with amnesia?
"Omri is one of the 4 pillars of Enchanters..." Yuna cut her off with sole doubt in her face.
'This is indeed a dream.'
"Magic?" Yuna lifted one of her delicate silver brows, thinking how funny it was. As if this stuffs would even trick her from believing it.
No way.
"Magic, what is that?" Manasseh curiously asked and Yuna could see how genuine her emotions were.
She froze.
Her mind was brimming with confusion and unanswered questions. Opinions started to run in her mind.
'Enchanters, an elfin, fireballs, and magic, are you freaking' kidding me?' She cursed inside her until Manasseh got her full attention by humming.
"Well, I can't expect that you won't get confused after losing your memory. You should take a bath and wear this. I can take you to the library if you want to know more." She smiled and unexpectedly, in a second, Yuna did the same.
Manasseh was able to see that smile again, she missed the smiling face of hers. It's making her melt on the inside. She wants to cry.
"Thank you, that would be helpful."

As the warm and gladly usual-water met her porcelain skin, she wished that she could just wake up from this so-called stupid dream. She rested her head on the brim of the wooden bathtub and stared at the tangerine ceiling.
Like how could she forget about the comet? She almost missed the fact that the comet was somewhat connected to all of this.
Its light illuminated her before she found herself here with no memories. The fact that she could remember everything after she saw the same comet again was making her wonder.
That maybe then, if she were to be illuminated by its light once again, she could be able to go back home.
But no, such a stupid miracle won't ever be an option for her or running away either. She'd figure it all out, the schemes, the tricks, and how to even wake up from this unreasonable dream or nightmare. Everything outside was normal that it was a kind of relieving. That the odds were just possessed by the people of this world and not with its surroundings.
Do comets have the power to mobilize her to another dimension or even another world? No, she thinks not.
As a devoted astronomer with a hidden dark agenda, no shred of light would give her that possibility.
She closed her eyes, remembering how she looked closely at the night sky using a telescope and found a should-have-been-a-hundred-thousand percent nonexistent object right in front of her eyes.
Just what does that even mean?
She decided to stay for a while and play the game whoever has given her.
From this day onwards, her name is Yuna.
"Biska is always scary as hell and Hayden, that peach-haired moron, you should avoid bumping onto him and there is Omri, he's the strongest..."As Manasseh led her to the library, Yuna took a note of the entire hallway they walked by. The walls and ceilings were nothing peculiar and kind of similar to every Asian traditional house in the so-called actual world.
The question of how this 'Yuna' died kept swirling in her mind. She just found out that "Yuna" was a former Light\life pillar, but then, 'she' died."To whom did 'she' pass her powers to, and what can this so-called special power do?"The book coul
This incident made her stop thinking for a while and decided to go back to her room. She locked her gaze upon the window as she lay down on her soft bed.Towering evergreen trees peeked in on her window as her longing gaze reprieved, in search of a non-fraudulent life.A sight then evaded her mind. Far behind the sturdy trees was a towering tan wall. It was extending for a considerable distance unknown to her. She wondered,What kingdom was she now?Does she possess some powers too?The sight was still giving off late midday signs, time here was indeed moving so slowly than she expected. How she wished to just wake up from this lucid dream, see the beautiful stars again and make those free criminals pay.In contrast to this supernatural world where they indulge themselves with magic and power, money was everything to Earth. It overpowered people's flaming passion and blatantly bent the so-called non-concurring Law. That's the reason why her parents were killed, after all, Greed. Her be
"Ah, nope." She furrowed. Before he could even take a step away, the so-called silver-haired male elfin pulled the hem of his tattered yet not dirty cotton clothing. Her retorting feat was so fast that the 'pup's' lips departed, leaving a quick squeak from her sudden pull."Not a chance."Yuna instantly cupped his clothes in search of the pocket until she pulled out an ice-blue bracelet."You suck at this but nice try." She stood up as she let him take one last glimpse of the bracelet before she scuffled in back to her wrist. She pushed the kid away and started strolling to continue her observation.Stealing was something she did not expect to happen that, but it was not a big deal either. The fact that a kid like him learned to steal was kind of pitiful to her. She never thought such poverty would even spawn in this almost-perfect world. Maybe she let herself be blinded by what magic could even do, that they could be able to do everything they want that were beyond humans. The young w
The sun was a quarter away before setting beyond the horizon. The different pace of time was slowly triggering her jet lag, which was extremely troublesome. Thankfully, no signs of familiar entities looking for her appeared but that doesn’t mean she would let her guard down. It not that she wouldn’t go back but she just wanted the stroll she always does before, something like that. After hours of sauntering around, they decided to take a rest and fill their stomachs by a bistro they managed to find.“This place wasn’t that helpful as I expected,” She sighed as she set her elbow on the wooden table and rested her chin on her palm. She gradually crossed her feet as she watched every creature, big and small, pass by.“Is this your first time here in the Capital, mister?” The ‘pup’ who was eating and sitting opposite to her asked.“You could say that,” she mumbled, "Is this the only place to buy stuff?” She would not expect a shopping mall in such a place but a smuggling illegal marketpla
“Any sign of her?” Omri asked the worried and frustrated Manasseh, who without a second thought, has roamed around the whole castle to look for Yuna. “None,” She burst out, now crying after prolonging her sullen agony for more than an hour. What if someone abducted her? What if Yuna was in danger right now? They need to find Yuna as soon as possible for her existence was something that should be kept confidential from the public. If the Council were to know about her resurrection, death was certain for her or worse, there wouldn't even be a proper burial, and the truth about her real identity would be nothing but a theory. There's one more place to search, and that is outside the academy. He would not risk wasting the time just by waiting for the so-called ‘All-knowing’ to find her, so he decided to search for her instead.Without a second thought, he unerringly sprinted towards the white marble balcony in front of them and jumped out with the support of his left hand.“Omri!” Manass
“You two are not sent here to just pull me back, right?” Zyair narrowed his amber eyes as he scanned the two folks standing in front of him.‘Seemingly an elf, ah no, a sprite and a young ‘Yuu’ni’.” He thoughtfully assumed. No, they were not that familiar to Zyair, except for that silver-haired guy, who had been giving him an uneasy yet familiar feeling. He was a little tall, slim, and was wearing clothes male elfin mostly wear. His messy silver bangs, long entangled hair, and emerald gaze made him look domineering and frigid. That silver hair color though, it only made him remembered that ‘annoying’ brat.“No, my teacher needs your help to look---” Zyair cut the young Yuu’ni off with a zany groan.Regardless of Yuna’s accentuated male features, Zyair was able to see through her disguise; he was the so-called ‘all-knowing’ after all. Not a simple disguise such as those can or will even fool him. “Nah, go away. Do I look like a book of guide to you?” He closed his eyes and decided to
“What do you think about this new ‘Yuna’?” Omri spoke as he leaned to the stone wall inside Zyair’s main office. It was dark and gloomy for him but it was Zyair’s comfort zone.Zyair loves the darkness but that fact about him, never equated that he’s evil.“Hmm,” Zyair hummed as he rested his chin on his intertwined slender fingers. To be honest, this was the first time she met Yuna face to face and alive. Not a clue of what her nature even looked like.
Verves surged inside Yuna's body, causing her to gawk her eyes with apparent shock. She was even more stunned when she found herself standing in a vast space of pure white emptiness. A shred of memory then flashed in her mind. Her triumph upon her plan was what she recalled, so what was happening right now?Yuna looked around the empty space until a familiar voice disrupted her search."What an annoying ability," The voice came from behind her and she glanced there only to meet a deviant entity but 'that' voice, it only belonged to the one who tried to confront her. However, in front of her was a floating deformed claret soul without feet, making her look more like a jinni."Where am I?" Yuna asked, for she has no clue about what was
"Damn, not good, not good." Yuna madly muttered as she kept herself alert from the danger lurking in the darkness for she met another threat. The atmosphere was so dense that she knew this wasn't some sort kind of test anymore, but pure bloodlust. Just what the heck did she just manage to wake up, a monster? What a big miscalculation, she just misjudged a mere child, and now the kid ended up enraged and berserk, Yuna was apparently armless."Dammit, where are the freakin' people?"If they were to come, that would be for later. She has one more thing she needed to conclude, that was to whether or not this world does exist, tonight. So for now, she has to stay alive no matter what. Now she has to rely on the senses of a body that she's
Loathe, anger, jealousy, envy, lust, obsession, all these are fires that severely burn, and whoever reaches her hands out to touch its flames is ought to suffer the agony of burning. Thus, reaping what you sow.People are given the privilege to discern what is right from wrong, but it only leads them to the inference that, "What is life without a little FUN?"
Somber and calm was the room for the 'Big Reveal' was on course. She leaned in closer to the eyepiece, taking a peep with eyes both open on the telescope to meet the barren sky. Nothing but a certain shade of blue confined in a black orb. That was all she saw."Neh, I cannot see anything." That it was kind of weird. Yuna frowned as she slowly slanted her head away from the eyepiece to look at the clear evening blue sky. Even if the telescope was sort of old-fashioned, she managed to set up high-potential lenses that could pier
"Take care, everyone." Deyonne waved her wrinkled and plumped hand as she stood by the wooden door. After Yuna and Dale managed to find all that was written on their list, it's time to say goodbye. The three waved back at her before they entered the exquisite and sweet-smelling flower tunnel.
“What a beautiful sight, I almost thought I stumbled upon a mirror.” Her oldie female voice trampled the silence. Yuna looked down to meet the chubby old dwarf’s gaze, but she saw no orbs, her eyes were pure white. She realized she was blind but the odd thing was that she knew she was standing there. What do those statements of hers even mean?“Oh, Miss Deyonne, me and my friends came to buy some stuff.” Zyair uttered as he approached Deyonne. Since Deyonne finally took a glance at Yuna, he wanted to know what she saw. What k
Screeching sounds from the leather boots as it collides with the grassy floor lingered in the air. Their distinct figures overlaid shadows on their path as they plastered placid smiles on their faces, for they are at home. Those humane eyes once wept hot and blinding tears of unspeakable sorrow. Their warm beating hearts once felt the burning rage of pain and anger. Their calm minds, once coveted by overpowering self-pity and loneliness.
No, probably not. She closed her eyes, asking herself why she was even this stressed. Well, she deserved that. If she were just to accept this world as her new reality and rebuke science, then she would not be this thwart, but no, she would never discard away her human knowledge even if it was for something certain.
"So how about you, why do you love the night so much? Zyair then asked, but instead of an answer, he only watched her pretty smile fade away with sole confusion. She almost let her guard down from this friendly talk; she doesn't know what to say. What if she would say something that isn't known to this world? What if they suspect there's something unusual about her? What if the night sky here wasn't the same as hers? What if?
