When I decided to work for the Riders, I did not expect to stay here as well. However, it makes sense since I will have to make myself familiar with the way things work here.

I took a quick shower to freshen up and changed my clothes. The dress seemed too formal. So, I changed into a comfortable pair of pants and a shirt. I wanted to go out and have fun, but the unnecessary security that I have, made it impossible for me to enjoy my stay here. Therefore, I was even forced to have lunch in the room, alone.

"Linda, you don't need to go to such lengths to protect me. It's not like there is anything life threatening here." I tried to make her understand that she can take it easy.

"Protecting you doesn't mean that I need to protect you only from the life threatening danger. Anything that can cause harm to your reputation, I need to stop it as well. This is a part of my job." She told me with respect. However, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
