Christina
We run out the back door through the kitchen and immediately start to sprint away from the people chasing after us. I have never ran so much in my life. We couldn't get to the car because they had swarmed around us so the back door was the only possible escape we had. My legs start to hurt and I suddenly feel so dizzy. I can barely breathe. I’ve never been good at any physical activities. “Please, we need to rest!” I yell out. “We can’t!” Dad screams. “Peter, we have to shift!” Melissa shouts. I ignore what Melissa says not because I don’t understand it but because the guys behind us seem to be getting closer. I guess this is the day I die. I wouldn’t have minded dying if it wasn’t for the vast amount of drama that has happened in the past few hours. I need to At Least understand why my mother was killed before I die. Hell—I want to avenge her. Becca looks back and sees that I’m slower than all of them. She then looks behind me and I turn around to see the people that were chasing after us are no longer people but.. animals. I can’t see them well but with the way the ground starts to shake I’m sure they're the same beasts that I saw my dad turn into. They run like they have some kind of cheetah genes. “Fuck it.” Becca says and before I can even blink she turns into a similar werewolf as my dad did earlier today. Hers is brown like dads. Dad does the same. Melissa tells me to hop on before following suit and turning into a brown and white werewolf. I scream so loud I’m pretty sure whoever is on the mountains near this forest heard me. For some reason I’m more surprised now than I was when I first saw my dad do it. Perhaps my brain convinced me it wasn’t real and now that I’m seeing it again I can’t take it. Melissa or rather— the brown and white werewolf bends her head towards me and pushes her head up twice whilst looking at me as if she’s signaling that I should do something. I remember her saying hop on before she became this animal so I quickly walk beside her and try to climb on her back. I put my right leg over her and sit on her back. I try to ignore how it feels whenever her hair brushes my legs. I’m about to sit more comfortably but Melissa immediately takes off with me on her back. I start to scream because I’m afraid of falling so I lean down like I’m on a horse and hold onto her hair with my hands. Becca and my dad are beside us. Melissa‘s running so fast I can barely see anything so I close my eyes. I stop screaming when I realize I haven't fallen off. I open my eyes and start to smile because this is actually fun. I don’t think it’s a normal experience that humans have but it’s like being on a roller coaster. I see a tree branch right in front of me and quickly duck. I look back and see that the werewolves have stopped all of a sudden. As if there’s some kind of invisible wall that’s not allowing them to pass through. I see them turn around and run away. I thought if I looked behind us I’d see that we’d have outran them not that they would willingly leave us. Something’s not right. I look forward and immediately gasp. Melissa stops running and so does Becca and dad. There’s a bunch of men and women sitting on trees pointing arrows at us. A few of them are in front of us holding guns. There’s one man in the middle of them holding a gun as well. He seems to be the one in charge, for some reason I can feel it as if he has some kind of aura. What have we gotten ourselves into? He’s staring straight at Becca. “Shift.” He says simply. I’ve been with them enough to know that he wants them to turn back to humans. I get off Melissa and they turn back to humans. They're completely naked. To my surprise, Melissa was carrying the same bag I saw her get from the trunk of the car earlier. She pulls out the clothes that we’re inside and passes it to Melissa and dad. The man who told them to shift walks up to Becca after she finishes putting on her clothes. “What’s happening?” I whisper to dad wondering what the hell is going on. “We’re in the wrong territory.” He says simply as if I’m supposed to understand what that means. I think these people are different from the ones that tried to kill us earlier. Maybe that’s why they had run away from us when we entered this part of the forest, I guess it was apparently the wrong territory. “What do you want from us?” Becca says after the man reaches her. “Mate.” He says simply. He leans his head towards her neck and smells her hair. She gasps and pushes him away. He suddenly turns into a black werewolf. What the hell have I gotten into, this will never be normal to see. To my surprise Becca walks up to him and taps his wolf's head while he purrs. Uh…What the hell..? “What is going on?” I whisper to Melissa this time. “He’s the beta. I can smell it.” She says as if I’m meant to understand. “He’s Becca’s mate and the second hand in command of the Alpha.” Dad says as if I’m still meant to understand. The black werewolf turns back to a human and gets passed clothes by his people.. “Is it normal for you guys to be naked in front of each other?” I ask while gawking at the organ dangling between his legs. “Sort of.” Melissa whispers back. The man finally wears his clothes and smiles at us. “I’m the beta of the River bay pack. Alpha Xavier will be delighted to know that one of his intruders happened to be my mate.” What the hell does that even mean? Dad looks at me and I look at him. He sees how confused I am and smiles. “An Alpha is like the ruler of a pack. And a pack is like a kingdom. He’s saying that Becca is his soulmate.” I nod at my dads weird ass explanation. “Who are these three?” The man asks Becca. He speaks with his hands behind him. “My sisters and my uncle.” She lies…technically. “As much as I fancy you mate, it isn’t good to lie.” he smiles at Becca before he continues his speech. “I can smell that the lady beside you is your sister. However the other two.. not very much. That man’s a rogue and the girl next to him is an omega…” He raises a brow as if he’s deep in thought, “or.. A rogue I believe. Her scent is odd and I do not see any white strands of hair that would make her an omega but perhaps I'm mistaken.” How could he tell through simply smelling us? And what the hell is an omega… What the hell does that mean? The man has dark hair and beautiful blue eyes. He’s muscular but Lean at the same time. He walks up to my dad and I, he nods once but it didn’t look like he was nodding at us. Before we can react, a black hood is put over my dad and I’s heads and the last thing I hear before falling unconscious is Melissa and Becca’s screams. If looks could kill my dearest mate would be dead. I just met him yet I hate his attitude. ‘No you don’t.’ My werewolf—felicia says, interrupting my thoughts. ‘Can’t you just go back to the hole you go to in the back of my mind and allow me to think in peace.’ I respond. I wonder how crazy Christina will react when she realizes she’s a werewolf and once she shifts will be able to talk to her werewolf. ‘I know right.’ Felicia interrupts my thoughts again. ‘Can you stop that! We’re in a situation here.’ I immediately shut her out and focus on the situation at hand. My mate, whose name I still don’t know, just syringed both Peter and Christina and is taking them to only God knows where. He sent his minions to take them somewhere yet it’s the same direction we seem to be heading. “You can stop throwing daggers on the back of my head with your stare.” My dearest mate says. How did he know I was doing that!? “I’m not.” I huff. He’s walking in front of me whilst Melissa and I walk
I wake up to a banging headache, my throat feels dry and I cannot feel my hands. I slowly crack my eyes open and realize I’m in a cell. “Finally, you're awake. I got scared for a second.” Dad says. I turn to my side and see that his hands are tied above him just like mine but he’s shirtless. “What...What happened?” I say breathlessly. My throat is so dry it hurts. “They had injected us with wolfs-bane after covering us in hoods.” He says and I just raise a brow. “It's a toxic plant that can knock werewolves out for a little while. I guess you were knocked out for a bit longer because you're still not a werewolf.” He explains. “Oh please, I’m definitely not one of those weird creatures you guys turn to, I would have known if I was.” I roll my eyes whilst trying to see if I can get my hands out of this damned chain. The cell we’re in seems to be in a basement but seeing how steel and silver everything looks in here I’d say it’s a dungeon because there’s absolutely no li
Xavier walks back to his seat whilst I stare at my father trying to understand why he looks panicked. “He… he smelt you. I forgot that all alphas have a more powerful sense of smell than other werewolves.” Dad starts saying quietly as if I'm supposed to understand what he’s telling me. “Why is this rogue and smelly thing a big deal?” I whisper back. “Rogues are deserted werewolves or in other words werewolves that don’t belong anywhere. You on the other hand…. You're not a rogue… you're worse. Your hair symbolizes the weakness that all omegas have. Every omega has such hair.” Dad explains whilst staring at Xavier waiting to see what will happen next. I look back at my sisters and Becca seems to be trying to tell Isaac something. “What’s an omega truly?” I ask and don’t even realize that someone is behind me till I feel a tug on my hair. I gasp as someone pulls it back till my entire face is tilted backwards and my neck is strained. I hear the clanging of a bucket right be
“I don’t know where to start.” Dad sighs again and shakes his head. “Start from explaining what the hell this omega thing is.” I say gently. “In the werewolf world. There’s another type of hierarchy. Same with how with humans there’s hierarchy of class, where some are middle class and some are high class. Well In the werewolf world, an omega is the weakest and least desirable among them. The Alpha is the highest, followed by his Luna, his beta and then gamma. The omega is always last place.” “So why is it a bad thing if people know I’m an omega? Is it because you're scared of how I’ll be treated and shunned by others?” I ask. “It’s not about that…” he sighs then looks at me, “You're the alpha king's mate.” I just blink at him. “Marcel? Isn’t that supposed to be a good thing?” I raise a brow. “No Alpha would want his Luna to be an omega.” Dad says. “Then how did an Alpha give birth to me?” I question. “We don’t know… it doesn’t make any sense. It’s nearly impossibl
Ever since I turned 20 I have heard nothing but baseless rumors about the Alpha king—me, not having a mate. I’d never tell them I do have one because she’s an omega and hell will break loose before I allow her into my life. I asked mom how to get another mate and she told me the first mate had to die. She’s a witch so she didn’t need to do much to find that out. I do not care less about rumors nor do I appreciate such attitudes around my pack but my dearest mother says I should care and do something about it instead of not doing anything. Hence, why I need to make sure I kill whoever my mate is. Mom has already found her location even though we’re still not certain if she exists or not. We were given a false prophecy before and now that I still haven't found my mate, my mother assumed it’s because my original mate is still alive. She sent rogues to kill her yet none have come back to give feedback… well until now. He’s profusely bleeding through his head and chest. Wonder how that h
Christina “The man threatened to cut off my penis if I didn’t allow him to kill my wife,” The man standing on a stage with a bunch of adults and teenagers listening to him takes a deep breath before continuing his life story. “-but jokes on him, my wife didn’t die that night, she came back to life after she was shot in the head. It was a miracle!” He screams and all the people clap and scream with joy in their hearts. Humans have the tendency of believing the worst shit. How can anyone blabber about how their partner died and came back to life and others actually believe? “What the hell is going on in there?” I turn around and my brown eyes clash with blue ones that squint as they notice me staring. Christina “What the fuck. What the fuck! What the actual fuck!” I keep repeating like a mantra. I don’t know whether I should be more confused at what I just saw or at the fact that the werewolf who just killed two other men is staring right behind me and for some reason I’m not afraid of him hurting me. Hell, I'm more afraid of the fact that he’s not looking at me. I feel someone’s breath on my neck and I already know that I’m about to die but just before I start to pray to God and embrace death, a knife flies swiftly past my ear and right into whoever the hell was behind me. The man starts to scream and I immediately look back at the direction that the knife came from. Christina A few moments of silence later, we reach a small house in the middle of a forest. Once Becca parks I leave the car and stare at the house but that’s the least of my worries.I look behind me and see Becca and Melissa talking so I walk up to dad who's looking at the house inquisitively.“Are you sure we can trust those two…” I look at them smiling at each other before I turn back to my dad and continue whispering.“They are a bit weird.” I say. “They’re your sisters' love.” He places his hand on his brown hair and scratches it. He’s really taller than me so I don’t get to see the exact spot he’s scratching. Or maybe I’m the short one that makes him look tall. He’s about 5 '11 whilst I’m 5' 6 so I won’t call myself short but I’m not tall either. Coincidentally my so-called sisters look to be about the same height as me but Becca looks a few inches taller…perhaps 5 '7. They both have brown hair and brown eyes just like me but I have white strands on mine. I tend to dye it on
