Chapter 84

The door to the King's Chambers swung open at the first light of dawn.

Zedekiel was surprised to find the room dark. All the curtains were tightly drawn, blocking any form of light from sifting through. He didn't need to turn on the lights to see though. He could see perfectly due to his Elfin abilities and was surprised to find the human Prince fast asleep in his bed.

Zedekiel scoffed. He hadn't gotten a wink of sleep due to excessive worry but the human was sleeping so soundly. Well, that was going to change. He was sending the human back to his room immediately. He didn't care what his mother said anymore. There was no connection to explore. Maybe the human Prince would be leaving Netheridge once he wakes up.

He took a step towards the bed when he suddenly felt a weight on his right leg. He gazed down to find a thoroughly frightened servant tightly holding onto his leg.

He was about to speak when the servant shook his head vigorously, putting a finger to his lips then spoke telepat
