Prince Ron snorted as he thought of his sister. "I wonder how too."

"Excuse me?" The man said, surprised. "You do not have any plans for that?"

Prince Ron realised that he misspoke, forgetting that he was in disguise. He had to quickly turn things around!

He glared at the man. "You, what is your name?"

The man wondered how the question concerned his name. Still, he answered; "Muck. My name is Muck."

Prince Ron grimaced. Who the hell would name their child Muck? Certainly not him. He and his beloved, assuming they have kids in the future, would give them wonderful cute names. What the hell was a Muck?

He sighed. "What an ugly name."

"Pardon?" Muck frowned.

"You should learn to mind your own business, Muck." Prince Ron said, flinging his chopsticks at his face. "Your job is to deliver information to me not to ask me questions. Who do you think you are? Just because I bought you some food doesn't mean we're on equal footing. I am the Princess of Ashenmore. How dare you question me?"

She quickly looked away, trembling as she wondered just how she had incured the King's wrath. She only wanted to help the human Prince.Prince Ron noticed that the stall owner wasn't moving. He could also feel a slight vibration in the air so he turned to his beloved with his arms folded. "What are you doing? She just wants to help.""Why not ask me for help?" Zedekiel huffed. "I have hands too. I can wear the pin for you."It then dawned on Prince Ron that his beloved was jealous. "Pfft!" He burst into a fit of giggles.Zedekiel's face darkened and he turned away from Ron, walking briskly through the lantern lit street. A stall owner dared to try and touch his lover. He got angry and his lover was laughing at him. Didn't he have the right to be jealous?"Hey wait!" Prince Ron called out. He collected the pin from the stall owner and hurriedly ran after his beloved. "I'm sorry, hold on!"Hearing Prince Ron call out to him, Zedekiel smiled to himself and slowed his steps so that Prince

Zedekiel asked. "We declared ourselves husbands just now. Do you not want to get married?"Of course Prince Ron wanted it. He wanted it so much! He had imagined himself walking down the isle a hundred times. Saying the words 'I do' a hundred times. Kissing his beloved in front of the whole world a hundred times. But..."You didn't ask me yet." Prince Ron said, pursing his lips. "You didn't ask me to marry you."The rest of the citizens who were on their way with gifts heard this and retreated slowly. They gazed at their King, wondering, to give or not to give? Their Queen was angry. Would there still be a wedding?Zedekiel didn't expect Prince Ron to say such a thing. Sometimes, he forgot that

He suddenly felt like crying. He had been preparing for his wedding since he knew what a wedding was. He had his flavour and colour of cake chosen already. He knew what kind of decorations he wanted. The music that would be played and above all, the clothes that he would wear. He even had a guest list which he had hidden carefully back at Ashenmore. He wanted his wedding celebration to go on for days and for everyone to enjoy themselves. He had planned for it to be a grand celebration, grander than anything on earth. So grand that even the Gods would be jealous. But he had gotten himself an unromantic husband. He sighed. Ah, what would he do?Suddenly, a soft, ethereal melody began to drift through the air, wrapping around his senses like a gentle embrace. The music was slow and beautiful, its tender notes weaving a tapestry of emotions that touched the depths of his heart. He looked left and right, front and back, wondering where the music was coming from. It sounded so nice and beau

"Seeing you everyday, being so close to you, having you in my bed made my feelings for you grow even more. I found myself getting jealous over the slightest things and when we went to interrogate Griffith, when you held me in the dungeon, saying you were scared of the darkness, I felt a fierce need to protect you. I wanted to hold you close and made sure nothing harmed you. And then, when Griffith informed you of our true identity and you didn't care, I felt on top of the world. Even though I was aware of how I felt about you, a part of me was scared because I didn't know if you'd be able to accept me for who I am. An Elf." Tears gathered in Prince Ron's eyes and his heart melted with each word. He held the flowers, gazing at his beloved as he attentively listened to his beloved's speech. "But you were not scared at all. Nor were you disgusted. You have no idea how deeply your actions and words affected me that day. I've always seen humans as fickle creatures. Betrayers and liars but

Prince Ron struggled against the vines with all his might but it was of no use. He couldn't get them off but Fredrick's hand over his mouth had loosened a bit so he opened his mouth and chomped down hard on Frederick's hand. Fredrick hissed in pain, withdrawing his hand immediately. "Let me go, you bastard!" Prince Ron spat, hatefully glaring at Fredrick. "Some nerve you have kidnapping me before the Elf King. He's going to kill you!" Fredrick scoffed. "That's if he can find me first. Do you even have any idea where we are?" It was then that Prince Ron took in his surroundings. They seemed to be in some sort of wooden building surrounded by large trees. It seemed like a normal study with shelves holding numerous books and a large table and chair in the middle of the room. On the table lay sprawled many scrolls and books. There was even a cat lazily sleeping on the edge. Prince Ron was confused. "Where are we?" He thought he'd be taken to some creepy cave or underground room where

"You have no right to decide what Zedekiel deserves or not. We can never be together you maniac." Prince Ron spat in disgust. Just what was wrong with Fredrick? It was like everything he saying was going in one ear and out the other. "I am in love with Zedekiel, not you. How many times will I tell you that?" "Even if you say it a million times, it would mean nothing to me." Frederick replied. He reached out and cupped Prince Ron's cheeks, staring into his eyes. "I am your true soul mate, honey. People fall in and out of love all the time. You will too. You will leave Zedekiel and you will love me, just as you had done in all your past lives." Prince Ron was extremely furious and disgusted. He wanted to break the hands touching his face. "I will never love you." He said determinedly, staring straight into Frederick's eyes. He noticed that Fredrick's pupils were not stable. They even seemed a bit dilated. Frederick chuckled sinisterly, sending chills down Ron's spine. "That is what y

"You die!"Upon witnessing the scene, the soldiers pivoted their attention to Zedekiel, brandishing their swords. He sighed, placing on a hand on Zedekiel's cheek, stroking the cold skin gently. "You know, I wanted to spare your life but when I saw the way you took hold of everything in the castle, I just couldn’t. You're still so young, yet you were already ruling the Kingdom like a proper King. When your Father died, I thought the entire Kingdom would be in a state of disarray and I would return and take charge like a grand hero but I was surprised to find that everything was under control. Even when I commanded the Officials to do something, they would say that they had to run it through you first so I knew that I had to get rid of you.""If you desired the throne, you could have just said so." Young Zedekiel gritted. "I haven't even been crowned King yet. I could have willingly abdicated in your favour.""Yes, you could have." Prince Kayziel nodded. "But would you have let me marry your Mother?"Young Zedekiel fell silent but the answer was evident in the intense glare that emanated from his

“This should be the last time we meet.” Young Zedekiel said. “Normally I would kill you for being a witch and lying to me but since we have been together, I will spare your life. Never make the mistake of coming before me in the future because I will kill you.”With that, Young Zedekiel turned and continued on his way, leaving Ron kneeling there, completely and utterly heartbroken.**********Zedekiel wanted to stay and see what Ron would do but something told him to follow his younger self and so he did. "I'm not deceiving you," he insisted, locking eyes with Zedekiel, “I swear it. My true identity is Raldore Nightshade, a witch—the youngest child of Malik and Yara Nightshade, leaders of the esteemed Nightshade Coven."Young Zedekiel's shock was palpable, his features frozen in disbelief as Ron's words washed over him like a tidal wave. He shook his head, taking a few steps backwards. “No. No you’re lying. You cannot be a witch. You smell different. You smell human.”“That’s because my magic is extremely weak.” Ron explained. “I am the weakest Nightshade to ever exist. Look, this is the only thing that I can do.”He crouched down on the grass, closed his eyes and muttered some words. Slowly a small plant germinated from the ground and gradually grew a single red juicy looking apple on its branch. But Ron already knew that the apples he grew were not tasty at all. He plucked the fruit, stood up and held it out to Zedekiel. “See, I’m a witch.”To say Young Zedekiel was shocked was an un

I can’t live without you.”“Lies!” Young Zedekiel snarled, yanking Ron’s arms away from his body. He turned around, his eyes blazing with fury. “Lies lies lies! All you humans know are lies, deceit and betrayal. You do not love. You can never love. All of you are too selfish for that!”Ron stared at Zedekiel, unable to understand what he was talking about. “What are you saying?” he asked. “What do you mean?”“You know exactly what I mean.” Young Zedekiel replied. “Stop acting like you’re innocent. You humans are all the same.”“No we’re not.” Ron argued. “I don’t know what you’re talking about but we’re not. I have done none of what you mentioned. I love you wholeheartedly, Zedekiel. “Good. You will rest for two full weeks and heal properly. Only then will I allow you to take my children into war with the humans. I get that you’re all angry. I too am brimming with rage and there’s nothing I wish more than to see those humans dead but we all have to wait. We have to be patient and strike when they least expect it. We have to be at our best so we can avenge the lives they took from us. Understand?”Prince Kayziel nodded instantly. She turned to Young Zedekiel and although he didn’t want to agree, he could not go against her. Especially after his uncle had agreed. “Yes, Mother.”Zedekiel, who was watching, closed his eyes and sighed for he knew what came next and he wished he had listened to his Mother. His stubbornness and impatience had cost them the lives of more Elves and had nearly cost that of his Mother and siblings as well.********After listening to Prince Kayziel's side of the story, Young Zedekiel was walking back to his room when a guard frantically appr
