Prince Ron snorted as he thought of his sister. "I wonder how too."

"Excuse me?" The man said, surprised. "You do not have any plans for that?"

Prince Ron realised that he misspoke, forgetting that he was in disguise. He had to quickly turn things around!

He glared at the man. "You, what is your name?"

The man wondered how the question concerned his name. Still, he answered; "Muck. My name is Muck."

Prince Ron grimaced. Who the hell would name their child Muck? Certainly not him. He and his beloved, assuming they have kids in the future, would give them wonderful cute names. What the hell was a Muck?

He sighed. "What an ugly name."

"Pardon?" Muck frowned.

"You should learn to mind your own business, Muck." Prince Ron said, flinging his chopsticks at his face. "Your job is to deliver information to me not to ask me questions. Who do you think you are? Just because I bought you some food doesn't mean we're on equal footing. I am the Princess of Ashenmore. How dare you question me?"

He could also feel a slight vibration in the air so he turned to his beloved with his arms folded. "What are you doing? She just wants to help.""Why not ask me for help?" Zedekiel huffed. He collected the pin from the stall owner and hurriedly ran after his beloved. "I'm sorry, hold on!"Hearing Prince Ron call out to him, Zedekiel smiled to himself and slowed his steps so that Prince

I shall give a better gift at your wedding ceremony."With that, he dashed off leaving Prince Ron puzzled.Wedding ceremony? Prince Ron turned to look at his beloved who seemed quite pleased."What?" Zedekiel asked. "We declared ourselves husbands just now. Do you not want to get married?"Of course Prince Ron wanted it. He wanted it so much! He had imagined himself walking down the isle a hundred times. Saying the words 'I do' a hundred times. Kissing his beloved in front of the whole world a hundred times. But..."You didn't ask me yet." Prince Ron said, pursing his lips. "You didn't ask me to marry you."The rest of the citizens who were on their way with gifts heard this and retreated slowly. He suddenly felt like crying. He had been preparing for his wedding since he knew what a wedding was. He had his flavour and colour of cake chosen already. He knew what kind of decorations he wanted. The music that would be played and above all, the clothes that he would wear. He even had a guest list which he had hidden carefully back at Ashenmore. He wanted his wedding celebration to go on for days and for everyone to enjoy themselves. He had planned for it to be a grand celebration, grander than anything on earth. So grand that even the Gods would be jealous. But he had gotten himself an unromantic husband. He sighed. Ah, what would he do?Suddenly, a soft, ethereal melody began to drift through the air, wrapping around his senses like a gentle embrace. The music was slow and beautiful, its tender notes weaving a tapestry of emotions that touched the depths of his heart. He looked left and right, front and back, wondering where the music was coming from. It sounded so nice and beau

"Seeing you everyday, being so close to you, having you in my bed made my feelings for you grow even more. I found myself getting jealous over the slightest things and when we went to interrogate Griffith, when you held me in the dungeon, saying you were scared of the darkness, I felt a fierce need to protect you. I wanted to hold you close and made sure nothing harmed you. And then, when Griffith informed you of our true identity and you didn't care, I felt on top of the world. Even though I was aware of how I felt about you, a part of me was scared because I didn't know if you'd be able to accept me for who I am. An Elf." Tears gathered in Prince Ron's eyes and his heart melted with each word. He held the flowers, gazing at his beloved as he attentively listened to his beloved's speech. "But you were not scared at all. Nor were you disgusted. You have no idea how deeply your actions and words affected me that day. I've always seen humans as fickle creatures. Betrayers and liars but

Prince Ron struggled against the vines with all his might but it was of no use. He couldn't get them off but Fredrick's hand over his mouth had loosened a bit so he opened his mouth and chomped down hard on Frederick's hand. Fredrick hissed in pain, withdrawing his hand immediately. "Let me go, you bastard!" Prince Ron spat, hatefully glaring at Fredrick. "Some nerve you have kidnapping me before the Elf King. He's going to kill you!" Fredrick scoffed. "That's if he can find me first. Do you even have any idea where we are?" It was then that Prince Ron took in his surroundings. They seemed to be in some sort of wooden building surrounded by large trees. It seemed like a normal study with shelves holding numerous books and a large table and chair in the middle of the room. On the table lay sprawled many scrolls and books. There was even a cat lazily sleeping on the edge. Prince Ron was confused. "Where are we?" He thought he'd be taken to some creepy cave or underground room where

"You have no right to decide what Zedekiel deserves or not. We can never be together you maniac." Prince Ron spat in disgust. Just what was wrong with Fredrick? It was like everything he saying was going in one ear and out the other. "I am in love with Zedekiel, not you. How many times will I tell you that?" "Even if you say it a million times, it would mean nothing to me." Frederick replied. He reached out and cupped Prince Ron's cheeks, staring into his eyes. "I am your true soul mate, honey. People fall in and out of love all the time. You will too. You will leave Zedekiel and you will love me, just as you had done in all your past lives." Prince Ron was extremely furious and disgusted. He wanted to break the hands touching his face. "I will never love you." He said determinedly, staring straight into Frederick's eyes. He noticed that Fredrick's pupils were not stable. They even seemed a bit dilated. Frederick chuckled sinisterly, sending chills down Ron's spine. "That is what y

Prince Ron just sat on the floor and tucked his arms to his chest, turning his face away. Hmph! The Elf spirit wanted his help but was calling him a bastard. Was that even how to ask for help? Besides, his beloved was working hard to get them back together. Who was he to interrupt his beloved's work? Whatever was happening to Kayziel was exactly what he deserved."Do you think I'll help you after what you subjected us to for three whole months?" He scoffed, glaring at Kayziel. "Shoo, hurry and go to wherever those hands are taking you."Kayziel gasped in pain, rivulets of tears and mucus running down his face. He screamed as the smoke-like arms pulled him closer to the circle. He could feel the heat of hell singe his feet. "I'm sorry" He began to cry. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry Ron. I'm sorry for everything. Kayziel’s laughter softened into something darker, more insidious, as he stepped closer. “Yes, Ron,” he murmured, his voice a low, chilling caress. “Think about it. Think about it well.” He began circling Ron like a predator stalking its prey, his ghost like form slithering around Ron’s form. “If you take your body, Zedekiel will lose all hope. The rest of your family? They’ll perish, one by one and Netheridge will eventually fall into ruin. The Elves, your kind, might even face extinction. And Zedekiel? Your beloved Zedekiel will live in a world of agony. A world without love..."He paused by Ron’s ear. "A world without you.”His words slithered through Ron’s ear like whispers of a devil, laced with a cruel, hypnotic allure. He moved closer, his hands ghosting over Ron’s trembling shoulders. “Can you truly take your body back, knowing you will be the cause of Zedekiel’s undoing?" He whispered. "Of his suffering for all eternity?”Ron’s breath hitched. His body tensed and his heart be

Alaric nodded, his expression understanding. “Of course.” He turned to the others and gestured toward the cave’s entrance. “Outside, everyone. Give them some space.”The group shuffled out quietly, leaving Zedekiel alone with Ron. As the echoes of their footsteps faded, the cave grew eerily silent.Zedekiel knelt beside the bed, his silver hair falling like a curtain around his face as he rested his hand on Ron’s swollen belly. His other hand found its way to Ron’s chest, where he could feel the faint, steady rhythm of his heartbeat. He lowered his head, pressing it against Ron’s chest. At first, there was only the sound of his own breathing, but then it broke. A small, ragged sob escaped his lips, followed by another then another. Tears spilled down his cheeks, slowly wetting Ron’s robes.“I'm sorry, love,” Zedekiel whispered, his voice breaking. “I'm so so sorry. I left you alone even after I promised to protect you. I let you shoulder the responsibilities that I should have. I-I'm

Elliot knelt beside Rose, his hands glowing faintly as his magic coursed through her twisted arm while she stared at him in awe.Zedekiel had left her on the floor and in pain. Those undead creatures were almost closing in on her and just when she thought she was really going to die on the battlefield, a dark haired man with pointy ears descended from the sky, blowing them all away and in the process, stealing her heart. She gazed up at him with tears and admirations in her eyes. His features looked almost otherworldly among the all chaos happening on the battlefield. He had smooth skin the colour of chocolate milk, dark hair like spun silk that fell in soft waves around his face, and eyes like molten amber, flecked with gold and crimson, which contrasted perfectly with his shimmering silver armour.Rose kept staring, momentarily forgetting her pain for Elliot looked just like the Princes in fairytales she had read to Ron about before bedtime."Okay, you have to stop," Elliot sighed,

Hugh paled and before he could react, Prince Ludiciel moved first, his fist connecting with Hugh’s jaw in a bone-shattering punch. The force sent him flying across the field like a ragdoll. But it didn’t stop there. Talon vanished in a flash and reappeared ahead of Hugh’s trajectory, slamming a powerful kick into his ribs midair. The impact hurled Hugh back toward Ludiciel, who with both hands gripping his sword, brought the hilt down, slamming Hugh into the ground with a resounding crash.Dust and debris erupted around them as Hugh’s body sank into the earth, the necromancer groaning in pain.He coughed, chanting some ancient words and his body shimmered with a sickly green light before dissolving into the soil like water into sand.“Stay alert.” Ludiciel warned, his grip on his sword tightening, his sharp eyes scanning the battlefield."Ugh, necromancers are fucking disgusting." Talon grimaced, his nose wrinkling in revulsion as the stench of rotten corpses filled the air around the

He gasped, unable to believe it. A tear slipped down his cheek, landing softly on the fabric of Ron’s robes. His violet eyes flickered with emotion as he turned to the royal physician and whispered, “It’s true.”The physician nodded, a warm smile spreading across his face. He held hands with Welyn, happy to see their King alive and well again. Never did they think a day will come when they would see their king so emotional and so in love. With a human at that.Zedekiel gazed back at Ron, his expression softening further. “It’s really true,” he whispered. “We’re going to be parents.”Cordin, and the others smiled, their hearts swelling at the sight of their King’s rare happiness. However, Kayziel, still slumped on the floor, went even paler.
