Chapter 57

Rhiannon words caused Kaylee’s eyes to brighten up.

“Really? You aren’t lying to me, right?” Kaylee asked hopefully causing Rhiannon to snicker silently.

“Of course, why should I lie to you? Have I ever lied to you since we were kids?” Rhiannon asked innocently but in her heart, she regretted everything she had done in the past.

Sometimes, she even hated her old self when she remembered how much she had suffered just because she wanted to share the love Kaylee received from her parents.

When she was little, she understood that she would never see her mother ever again. She was always jealous of Kaylee having her mother by her side thus as time passed, she worked hard to get Mrs Clark’s and her father’s love. Because of that, she tolerated Kaylee, gave her everything she wanted, befriended her, and followed her everywhere afraid that she might miss something.

Kaylee was stunned by her words. After a while, she shook her head as she remembered that Rhiannon never lied to her even once.
