CHAPTER 65

HOUSTON POV

I decided to just go wait for Aiden at his house since it was already near closing time.

Deep down, I don't want to make a scene at his office. I know that the both of us are definitely going to get into a huge argument when I see him today. He can't just trample upon all of my dreams and expect me to still be calm about it.

When I got to his house he still wasn't back from work. I guess that he and Fiona were probably still at the office. But the butler knows me and so he let me into the living room to wait for him.

He offered me some snacks but I didn't want to eat anything. I don't want the anger that I am feeling inside to dissipate before Aiden and Fiona gets back.

Just then, heard a car pull into the parking lot. I braced myself to meet with my so-called friend and talk with him.

How dare he do this to me? It is one thing that he has taken away the one woman that I have loved since I was a teenager but how they try to take away being the leader of the mafia? .
