Christina POV
“What the fuck. What the fuck! What the actual fuck!” I keep repeating it like a mantra. I don’t know whether I should be more confused at what I just saw or at the fact that the werewolf who just killed the two men is staring at me and for some reason, I’m not afraid of him hurting me. Hell, I'm more afraid of the fact that he stopped looking at me and started looking behind me. I felt someone’s breath on my neck and I already knew that I was about to die but just before I started to pray to god and embrace death, a knife flew swiftly past my ear and right into whoever the hell was behind me. I felt a warm liquid drip down my shoulder and I slowly looked back and saw another man in black. His eyeball was struck With the knife and it’s bleeding profusely. The man starts to scream and I immediately look back at the direction that the knife came from. There’s a lady in black but different from the men and her face is open, unlike the men whose faces were conveyed in masks. She was breathing heavily and started saying something but I couldn't hear her because my mind was in a jumbled mess. She’s sitting by the window, she probably had to climb up a tree or ladder to get there but I have a feeling it’s the former. I looked back at the werewolf and saw him looking at the lady by the window. His body started cracking again and his hair started to shrink back. I blinked again and my father was staring at me butt naked. I don’t know whether it’s my dead mother on the floor or my dad's penis dangling in front of me that brought me back to life but it’s enough to make me understand what the lady by the window is saying. “We have to go now!” She yells before her eyes land on my dad and his dangling penis. He quickly grabs clothes from the closet and puts them on. “Peter?” The lady by the window says. How does she know my dad? “Melissa?” He asks after putting on his shirt. I ignore them and whatever they say to each other and run to my dead mother. I didn't even realize that I had been crying this whole time till I placed her limp hands on my cheek. Dad walks towards me from behind and tries to touch me but I flinch so he sighs. “I’m so sorry that you had to find out about me like this but we seriously need to go.” He says as calmly as he can but I can still hear how shaky his voice is. He loved his wife as much as I loved her. “The police are on their way, why should we follow that other woman? If she wants to help she should wait with us.” I say even though I’m grateful that she saved my life. I start to hear the police sirens and stand. “The police will ask too many questions... questions we cannot answer. If you're worried about who you can trust then the answer is easy, you can always trust me. You know me.” “Do I? You just became the same beast from Twilight and I’m supposed to trust you!?” I snort. “You will come with me now Christina or so help me god-” The lady my dad called Melissa says. My dad places a hand up to let her know that it’s enough. “It’s not safe for us to stay here anymore.. what we’re up against...they're not humans..uh...they’re a lot worse. I can’t protect you if we stay here and anyone else that knows you will be in danger if they find out they are connected to you in some way so it’s better to let her go and leave.” He says. I sighed and reluctantly stood up and followed them. I don’t understand what the hell is going on but I do know that Whatever the hell is going on is more than a robbery or an assassination because who the hell does such a thing in broad daylight? On the morning of a school day. We ran as fast as we could downstairs till we made it outside. “The car is at the back of the house.” She says and leads the way. I have so much on my mind that when we reach the car I don’t even look at it enough to know what type of car it is. I just get in and wonder how confused Elsa will be when she doesn’t find me there. I look up and see another lady in the driver's seat. “Took you long enough.” She says to Melissa. “Oh please,” Melissa responds. “Dad.. we’re going to come back right?” I ask sheepishly. “No, my love. We’re never coming back.” He sighs. “Long time no see Peter. Or should I say beta, Peter?” The lady in the driver's seat says and smirks. “I’m rogue now, please don’t,” Dad says and looks behind us as if he’s expecting someone to be following us. I looked at the lady again and we took off. She notices me staring through the rearview mirror and winks at me like something’s funny. What the hell is a beta and what does he mean by he's a rogue now? “My mother is dead,” I say to let her know that there’s nothing to joke about. “Don’t worry she’s not your real mother.” The lady says. “Becca!” Dad yells and Melissa laughs. I decided to ignore her statement. My brain is presently overloaded with too many questions. “And who are you two?” I ask, raising a brow. “We’re your sisters,” Melissa says while staring at the side mirror. “Well.. half-sisters,” Becca says and winks at me again. She’s annoying but what she says has my eyes widening. I’m an only child... there’s just no way that’s possible. I’m about to say something but I don’t get the chance to because our car gets hit from behind. I turned around and saw a bunch of cars following us. “Well, shit,” Melissa says. “It’s going to be fine Christina,” Dad says and holds my hand. “Who are those people and why do they want to kill you? And why’d they kill Mom!” I yell while Becca increases the speed of the car. “You got it all wrong Christina,” Becca says. “They're trying to kill you. Not peter.” Melissa says before bringing out a gun and rolling down her window. She leans her head out of the window and starts to shoot. I was terrified by the sound of the gun but acted like this wasn’t the first time I'd seen a gun. “Why the hell would they want to kill me? I’m just a high school student!” “It’s kinda a long story,” Becca says. “A story for another day!” Dad yells just as another car hits us from the back again. Melissa shoots the car's tires and they slow down behind us. The cars behind us are now down to four, wonderful. We enter the main road and Becca increases the speed of the car. The cars behind us seemed to be getting closer and I held my breath till another car hit us. “We’re going to die!” I cried, squeezing my eyes shut. “Just hold on!” Becca shouts. I open my eyes and catch a glimpse of her making a sharp turn but my soul is about to leave my body because there’s a truck right in front of us. It starts to blow its horn when it notices we’re entering its lane to make the turn, instead of waiting for it to pass first. I don’t know how but we managed to make the turn before the truck crashed into us unfortunately the four other cars connected with the truck but a few of them managed to escape the crash since the truck is very long it restricts the other cars movements meaning they can no longer see us. “We did it!” Melissa yells and claps. “Where the hell are we going?” I ask. “You’ll see,” Becca says.Christina POVAfter a few moments of silence, we arrived at a small house in the middle of a forest. Once Becca parked, I left the car and stared at the house but that’s the least of my worries.I look behind me and see Becca and Melissa talking so I walk up to Dad who's looking at the house inquisitively.“Are you sure we can trust those two...” I look at them smiling at each other before I turn back to my dad and continue whispering.“They are a bit weird,” I said. “They’re your sisters' love,” Dad says. He places his hand on his brown hair and scratches it. He’s taller than me so I don’t get to see the exact spot he’s scratching. Or maybe I’m the short one that makes him look tall. He’s about 5 '11 whilst I’m 5' 6 so I won’t call myself short but I’m not tall either.Coincidentally my so-called sisters look to be about the same height as me but Becca looks a few inches taller...perhaps 5 '7. They both have brown hair and brown eyes just like me but I have white strands on mine. I

Christina’s POVWhen you're in the dark for a very long time, no matter how anxious you are, or the amount of fear running through your veins, you can't escape your body trying to get some rest. I have to blink multiple times to kick the drowsiness out of my eyes when the bag over my head gets pulled off so roughly that it almost rips my lobe earring off. I kiss my teeth at first and then remember my current situation, which is enough to wake me up completely.Dad, or Peter? I'm not sure what to even refer to him as anymore is by my side, chained up to a wooden chair that looks too weak and brittle. He looks at me and sends a smile he likely hopes is comforting, but it only makes my insides twist around even more. The strange, man-wolf person who had claimed Becca was his ‘mate’ stands before us, eyes narrowed. We're in a cell with actual bars, but he stands on the outside of it, watching us like we're mere criminals. If anyone had told me that this was how this week would go for m
Christina's POVDespite all my begging and pleading to be freed, I am thrown into the Alpha's spacious room. All my cries fall on deaf ears, as it becomes obvious that I'm not leaving this man's room until he is ready to let me go.I look around me, getting more and more scared as I realize that his room is so large that I feel immensely tiny inside of it. The smell of incense and lit candles faintly permeates the room, adding to the dark atmosphere. Sunlight is gradually waning, which means that soon, night will fall on us, potentially keeping us here longer.I rub my hands together in a pleading gesture. “Please, please please, I don't know anything at all,” I beg, dragging myself across the carpet-covered floor away from this man before me with a sinister look in his eyes. “Please.” My elbows start to hurt, but I push past the pain and keep moving—until a solid wall presses into my back. His eyes roam my body in a way that hints at nothing good. Author’s POVBack in the dungeons, the two sisters, Peter, and Beta Isaac remain, settling in the aftermath of Christina’s dilemma. Though the halls are thick with cement and lime, the resulting tension vibrates through them with a foreboding harmony of its own. “Shit!” Becca clutches her bright red hair so hard that she almost succeeds in pulling it off her sensitive scalp. Almost thirty minutes have gone by, but they've gotten no information from the Alpha or his men to inform them about how the interrogation is going, and she's starting to feel restless. She should have ever let him take the poor girl away in the first place, but out of respect for her newly found mate, she had tried to be civil. Now, she feels like she should have thrown a knife at the Alpha and fought for her half-sister.She and Melissa have seen the consequences of broken family bonds, and how dangerous it can be, so when they got news of Christina’s location, they had been very eager to see the child their f
