Andrew's POV

What exactly was Alfred up to?

This was the question that had been nagging at me for the last two days.

"Don't worry, I've got everything under control. He won't suspect a thing.”

Those words sounded like someone secretly plotting behind my back. If Alfred was, then why would he betray me? I made sure he was well-paid, even more than other butlers in prestigious homes. He lacked nothing and had access to everything he wanted. Why would he ever think of betraying me?

If he wasn't planning anything against me, then why the suspicious phone call? Could he really be the one who tried to kill Sheila in the house? Afterall, he worked in my house, knew every corner and everyone living there, and had military training with good fighting skills, making him a viable suspect.

I trusted him completely and never suspected he could be involved in Sheila’s attack. The thought never even crossed my mind. If he was involved, did that mean he also knew about Evelyn?

Sheila's POVI waited in my room for hours, watching for the sun to set. I spent a lot of time thinking about how to trick Anna into letting me go to my father's house. With what I had planned, I believed it would work. When evening came, I went to the bathroom to freshen up and then headed to my closet to get dressed.I spent more than half an hour in my closet, overwhelmed by the sea of clothes, thanks to Madam Eliza and Madam Cruz. They had completely overhauled my wardrobe after dressing me for the family dinner with Andrew a few days ago, replacing my 'rags' with high-end designer clothes. As I sifted through the options, I struggled to pick one outfit. Finally, I grabbed what seemed like the most ordinary T-shirt and threw it on, ready to head out. Little did I realize, this seemingly simple T-shirt was actually the latest model from a top designer's new collection. As I headed toward the door, Anna appeared, as expected. Sometimes, I wondered if she and Alfred had secret doors

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Catching Alfred red handed

Andrew's POV "Not now, Anna," I quickly said and hung up the call. I couldn't afford any distractions at this crucial moment, not when I was about to catch Alfred red-handed. "Can you move a bit faster, Kane? Time is of the essence." "Yes, Master," Kane replied, stepping on the accelerator. Anxiously, I started tapping my fingers on my legs, unsure of what to expect when we arrived. Finally, we reached our destination, Kane parked three blocks away from the building where Zane had reported seeing Alfred enter earlier. "Tell the guys to secure the perimeter of that building. No one enters or leaves, do you understand?" I instructed Kane. "Yes, Master," he answered and started placing a call to the team. As we approached the building, I spotted Zane outside a coffee shop opposite the building. Dressed in a flowery shirt, black pants, and a black hat, he looked like any regular person enjoying his coffee, not a bodyguard on duty. He nodded at me and pointed in the dire

Alfred's POVI took a deep breath to push away the painful memories that flooded my mind and began to tell our story.“Elizabeth and I were a couple years ago, if it hadn't being what happened one night, we were supposed to get married, have beautiful kids, live normal lives just as we had planned and envisioned.”The atmosphere was eerily silent, and Elizabeth’s grip on my hand tightened. She was still nervous about Andrew and his men, so I gently stroked her hand to comfort her and continued.“Elizabeth and I had been seeing each other in secret. Her family wouldn't allow us to meet at night since we weren’t married. One night, while waiting for her by the river, I heard cries for help. I ran and found her cousin with scattered hair and torn clothes, so I rescued her and took her home. The next morning, I was dragged from my house by her cousin's angry family. They beat me in the square, calling me a rapist. I was stunned, unable to say a word in my defense. To escape their fury, my

Sheila's POVFew hours earlier…."Wait outside for me, I won't take long," I instructed Chris, the bodyguard Anna had assigned to me.When I arrived at my father's house, I knocked on the front door. To my surprise, Fiona opened the door herself instead of one of the maids.“Sheila, I'm glad you made it. Come in,” she said with a smile, stepping aside to let me in. She glanced outside, and her warm welcome quickly turned into a scowl.“I thought I told you not to bring any bodyguards; your father isn't comfortable around them,” she complained.“He’ll wait outside; Father doesn't need to see him,” I reassured Fiona, who still looked a bit doubtful.I walked in and asked, “Where is Father? Is he in his study?”“Your father isn’t back from the office yet; he’s running a bit late today,” Fiona explained. “Since you’re here, let me get you a drink.”“Oh, you don’t have to; I’m fine.”“Nonsense! I’ll get you one right away,” Fiona insisted, and she went off to get it.I was puzzled by Fiona

Phoebe’s POV"Has she passed out?" I asked my mom when I saw Sheila lying unconscious on the floor. Sheila was really dumb to trust my mom and come here."Not yet, but the drug is starting to work gradually on her. Soon, she'll completely pass out.""But how did you manage to drug her, Mom? I mean, didn't she switch the drinks?”Mom chuckled and smiled proudly. "I'm more experienced with this kind of thing. I knew Sheila would be suspicious and try to switch our drinks, so I planned ahead.""What did you do?" I asked, curious.Mom smiled slyly, raising her hand in front of my eyes and shaking it. I rolled my eyes, thinking she was showing off her manicure. Wait a minute…..nails! Then I noticed the strange white color on the nail of her right index finger under the sunlight.I burst out laughing. So that was how she did it. How could Sheila, that bitch, not have thought that the powder would be hidden in Mom's nails? Even though she thought she was being careful, she wouldn't have thou

He's here now, so let's just do what we came for," Mom interrupted me and took Alan into the room where Sheila was.Alan saw Sheila and smiled slyly. "Hello, Sheila." When he saw she wasn't moving, he went closer and touched her, exclaiming, "You drugged her?""Keep your voice down! What's wrong with you?" I snapped at him."But I told you I could handle her. You didn't need to drug her. Sheila is very much in love with me and will do whatever I want."I rolled my eyes as he kept bragging about how he had Sheila wrapped around his finger and didn't need to drug her to achieve his aim."Enough! I've heard enough of your bragging," I cut him off. "Just carry her through the backdoor and take her to the guest house. I sent you the address earlier. I've paid for everything there, so you don't have to worry about any expenses. Take her purse with you and make sure you capture every angle well. This

Andrew's POVI stormed out of the apartment, leaving Alfred and Elizabeth inside, and called Anna immediately. What exactly was going on right now? I got into the car and told the driver to head to the house while waiting for Anna to answer the call."Anna, I don't understand the message you just sent me. What do you mean by Sheila might be in trouble? Did someone break into the house? Where is Sheila? Is she safe? The mansion had top security guards from all over the country, so how did someone still break in?"Master, please calm down. No one broke into the house. Everything is okay here at the mansion," Anna replied calmly.I heaved a sigh of relief and then asked in confusion, "Then what did you mean in the message you just sent me? • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Justice or Humiliation

Phoebe's POVThis week had been so stressful and messy. Deadlines were piling up, my boss, Mr. Jeremy, kept asking for more than I could handle, and life generally hadn’t been so rosy since I got separated from Antonio and lost my father’s company. But now, as I stood watching Sheila and her mother struggle under the stares of the crowd, it felt like life was finally giving me a break. Meeting Sheila and her mother here was an unexpected twist of fate—a perfect opportunity to redirect all my pent-up stress. They were the perfect scapegoats I needed at that moment to make me forget my chaotic life, even if just for a while. I watched as Mr. Jeremy walked toward us. His steps were fast, and his face looked serious and strict. His eyes moved quickly over the scene, showing he was ready to take charge. My heart started beating faster—not because I was scared, but because I was excited. This was my chance to take control. “What’s going on here?” Mr. Jeremy’s sharp voice cut through

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Who to Believe

Simeon’s POVA few minutes ago...“You’ve really outdone yourself, Jeremy,” I said. “Taking this agency to global heights—it’s no small feat. You’ve built something extraordinary here.” Walking alongside the director of one of the world's leading modeling agencies, I couldn’t help but admire his success. The director smiled, a hint of pride shining in his eyes. “Thank you, Simeon. But I can’t take all the credit. Your support and investments have been quite instrumental. Without your belief in my vision, expanding on this scale would’ve been a far more difficult journey.” I gave him a small smile, waving off the compliment. “You give me too much credit. The success of your agency is due to your hard work and vision. I only saw the potential and backed it up.” He chuckled. “Well, let me return the favor. If this friend of yours you’re about to introduce me to is interested in modeling, I’d be more than happy to offer her a job immediately.” I laughed lightly, thinking about M

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Pickpocket

Sheila's POV Mom stood beside me, glancing around as we waited for Simeon. The tour guide had excused himself, saying he needed to get something, and had also left. Where Mom stood, someone suddenly bumped into her with enough force to make her stagger. “Mom!” I reached out, steadying her before she could fall. She clutched my arm for support, looking shocked by the sudden force. The woman who’d bumped into her didn’t even stop. She kept walking as if nothing had happened, her phone in hand as she kept chatting with God-knows-who. “Hey!” I called out, my voice sharp and cutting through the noise around us. “Watch where you’re going!” The woman stilled mid-step, her back rigid as she pocketed her phone. Slowly, she turned around, her gaze locking with mine. My breath caught when I saw her face. It was surprisingly... “Phoebe?” I called out. “Sheila?” she called out, equally surprised. “What are you doing here?” we both asked at the same time. I stared fully at her

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Weekend Surprise

Simeon's POVAs we packed up the food, I couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging that I hadn't experienced in years. My heart raced with excitement. A family picnic? I’d never had one in my life. The thought of spending an entire day with Sheila and her mom—laughing, eating, and simply being together—felt surreal. It was a feeling I didn’t want to let go of, and I’d decided to take things one step further. “All right, ladies,” I announced as I helped them into the car. “I’ve got the perfect place in mind for this picnic, a little getaway.” Sheila frowned, her brow furrowing as she buckled her seatbelt. “Getaway? Simeon, this is just supposed to be a picnic. What are you talking about?” Mia and I exchanged a knowing glance. This was the part where Sheila would start protesting, but we were already prepared. “It’s Saturday,” I said casually, pulling onto the road. “I figured we could make this a mini vacation—stay ove

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Third wheel

Sheila's POV The smell of something sweet wafted through the air, pulling me out of my room and straight toward the kitchen. I leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, and smiled. “Mom, are the cookies ready yet?” I asked, hoping she’d let me sneak a taste. She glanced over her shoulder, an apron tied snugly around her waist. “Almost,” she replied, her hands busy rolling out dough. I stepped closer and tied on an apron of my own. “Let me help then. You’re always saying teamwork makes the dream work.” She chuckled as I joined her at the counter, and we worked side by side, kneading and shaping the dough. Halfway through, while the scent of freshly baked cookies filled the air, Mom turned to me with a sly smile. “Should I make an extra batch?” she asked casually, but I could see her eyes glinting mischievously. “You know, since these are Simeon’s favorites.” I rolled my eyes playfully. “Mom, is Simeon a buffalo you’re p

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   His Past and Present

Andrew's POV Evelyn headed to her room before I could even mention Simeon's name, and slammed the door really hard, leaving no room for further confrontations.I stood motionless, my fists clenched at my sides. I couldn’t bring myself to call her back or say another word. Not after what she had revealed. She had heard me mutter Sheila’s name in my sleep. When did this happen? And why hadn’t Evelyn confronted me sooner? The thought gnawed at my mind, making me feel guilty. Was it something I had dreamt unconsciously, or was it the part of me I’d tried so desperately to suppress surfacing in the worst possible way?I turned and headed to the study. The air inside the room was stifling, but it matched the suffocating weight on my chest. I grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the shelf, poured myself a glass, and downed it in one go. The burn of the alcohol was sharp, but it did little to dull the chaos in my head.Opening the balcony door, I let the cool night air wash over me. I sank into

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   One Text, One Choice

Evelyn’s POVI bent down slowly, my fingers trembling as I picked up one of the pictures Andrew had thrown at me. My heart raced as the image in my hand sent a chill down my spine. It was a photo of me holding Simeon’s hand. How… how did Andrew get this? When I had sarcastically asked if he was stalking me earlier, I hadn’t expected him to actually do it. But here it was—evidence that he’d hired someone to follow me. I clenched the photo in my hand, my shock instantly turning into anger. Without thinking, I threw it back at him, and asked in a sharp voice,“What is this, Andrew? Am I a prisoner in your house now? A prisoner who can’t step outside without the warden’s permission?” Andrew remained unmoved, his expression cold and stern. “This isn’t about being a prisoner, Evelyn. What exactly were you doing with Simeon?” His question stung, not because I didn’t have an answer, but because of the sheer audacity of it. What did he think I was doing with Simeon? I took a deep bre

Andrew’s POV I stood in the shadows, my arms crossed tightly over my chest, watching as Evelyn quietly slipped into the house. She moved carefully, shutting the door gently, as if trying not to wake anyone. The faint click echoed in the silence, and I waited, my patience thinning with every passing second. She didn’t see me. Her focus was on the stairs, her steps light but quick. It was clear she wanted to get to her room without encountering anyone. But she wouldn’t get that luxury tonight. “Where have you been, Evelyn?” My low, sharp voice immediately broke the stillness. She froze mid-step, clutching her bag tightly. A startled shriek escaped her lips as she turned abruptly, her wide eyes searching the shadows until they landed on me. “Andrew!” she exclaimed. “Why would you do that? You scared me!” I didn’t answer, didn’t move. I just stood there, letting the silence stretch between us. Her brows furrowed as she stepped down from the stairs she was about to climb,
