Andrew's POV

Evelyn headed to her room before I could even mention Simeon's name, and slammed the door really hard, leaving no room for further confrontations.

I stood motionless, my fists clenched at my sides. I couldn’t bring myself to call her back or say another word. Not after what she had revealed.

She had heard me mutter Sheila’s name in my sleep.

When did this happen? And why hadn’t Evelyn confronted me sooner? The thought gnawed at my mind, making me feel guilty.

Was it something I had dreamt unconsciously, or was it the part of me I’d tried so desperately to suppress surfacing in the worst possible way?

I turned and headed to the study. The air inside the room was stifling, but it matched the suffocating weight on my chest. I grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the shelf, poured myself a glass, and downed it in one go. The burn of the alcohol was sharp, but it did little to dull the chaos in my head.

Opening the balcony door, I let the cool night air wash over me. I sank into

Sheila's POV The smell of something sweet wafted through the air, pulling me out of my room and straight toward the kitchen. I leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, and smiled. “Mom, are the cookies ready yet?” I asked, hoping she’d let me sneak a taste. She glanced over her shoulder, an apron tied snugly around her waist. “Almost,” she replied, her hands busy rolling out dough. I stepped closer and tied on an apron of my own. “Let me help then. You’re always saying teamwork makes the dream work.” She chuckled as I joined her at the counter, and we worked side by side, kneading and shaping the dough. Halfway through, while the scent of freshly baked cookies filled the air, Mom turned to me with a sly smile. “Should I make an extra batch?” she asked casually, but I could see her eyes glinting mischievously. “You know, since these are Simeon’s favorites.” I rolled my eyes playfully. “Mom, is Simeon a buffalo you’re p

Simeon's POVAs we packed up the food, I couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging that I hadn't experienced in years. My heart raced with excitement. A family picnic? I’d never had one in my life. The thought of spending an entire day with Sheila and her mom—laughing, eating, and simply being together—felt surreal. It was a feeling I didn’t want to let go of, and I’d decided to take things one step further. “All right, ladies,” I announced as I helped them into the car. “I’ve got the perfect place in mind for this picnic, a little getaway.” Sheila frowned, her brow furrowing as she buckled her seatbelt. “Getaway? Simeon, this is just supposed to be a picnic. What are you talking about?” Mia and I exchanged a knowing glance. This was the part where Sheila would start protesting, but we were already prepared. “It’s Saturday,” I said casually, pulling onto the road. “I figured we could make this a mini vacation—stay ove

Sheila's POV Mom stood beside me, glancing around as we waited for Simeon. The tour guide had excused himself, saying he needed to get something, and had also left. Where Mom stood, someone suddenly bumped into her with enough force to make her stagger. “Mom!” I reached out, steadying her before she could fall. She clutched my arm for support, looking shocked by the sudden force. The woman who’d bumped into her didn’t even stop. She kept walking as if nothing had happened, her phone in hand as she kept chatting with God-knows-who. “Hey!” I called out, my voice sharp and cutting through the noise around us. “Watch where you’re going!” The woman stilled mid-step, her back rigid as she pocketed her phone. Slowly, she turned around, her gaze locking with mine. My breath caught when I saw her face. It was surprisingly... “Phoebe?” I called out. “Sheila?” she called out, equally surprised. “What are you doing here?” we both asked at the same time. I stared fully at her

Simeon’s POVA few minutes ago...“You’ve really outdone yourself, Jeremy,” I said. “Taking this agency to global heights—it’s no small feat. You’ve built something extraordinary here.” Walking alongside the director of one of the world's leading modeling agencies, I couldn’t help but admire his success. The director smiled, a hint of pride shining in his eyes. “Thank you, Simeon. But I can’t take all the credit. Your support and investments have been quite instrumental. Without your belief in my vision, expanding on this scale would’ve been a far more difficult journey.” I gave him a small smile, waving off the compliment. “You give me too much credit. The success of your agency is due to your hard work and vision. I only saw the potential and backed it up.” He chuckled. “Well, let me return the favor. If this friend of yours you’re about to introduce me to is interested in modeling, I’d be more than happy to offer her a job immediately.” I laughed lightly, thinking about M

Phoebe's POVThis week had been so stressful and messy. Deadlines were piling up, my boss, Mr. Jeremy, kept asking for more than I could handle, and life generally hadn’t been so rosy since I got separated from Antonio and lost my father’s company. Meeting Sheila and her mother here was an unexpected twist of fate—a perfect opportunity to redirect all my pent-up stress. They were the perfect scapegoats I needed at that moment to make me forget my chaotic life, even if just for a while. I watched as Mr. Jeremy walked toward us. My heart started beating faster—not because I was scared, but because I was excited. This was my chance to take control. “What’s going on here?” Mr. Jeremy’s sharp voice cut through

Phoebe's POV I stood there, my face stinging from Mr. Jeremy’s slap. My cheek burned, not just from the force but from the sheer humiliation of it all. I could barely process what had just happened. A slap? From Mr. Jeremy? I turned to him, eyes wide with shock. “Jeremy, how could you slap me? What did I do wrong?” I demanded, my voice trembling. His glare silenced me momentarily. “Keep your mouth shut, Phoebe,” he barked angrily in a sharp tone. “If you knew who Simeon was, you wouldn’t have dared to speak such nonsense about his friends. How dare you accuse them of theft!” I frowned, trying to regain some composure despite the growing whispers from the crowd. “Simeon?” I repeated, glancing at him before scoffing angrily. “I don’t care who he is or his relationship with them! I know Sheila and her mother too well to be fooled by whatever game they’re playing here!” Jeremy’s jaw tightened, but I pressed on, my voice louder this time. “Do you even know who Mia is?” I spat

No, this couldn’t be happening. I was in trouble, and I knew it. But this level of trouble? It wasn’t supposed to escalate this far. I quickly turned to him, tears stinging my eyes. “Mr. Jeremy, please, I’m sincerely sorry. I swear it was a mistake. It won’t happen again. I—I just had a lot going on, and I took it out on them. I kept telling her I had enough, but my sweet Granny wouldn't hear of it. "Sheila," Mom began, her voice gentle yet curious, "I've noticed Andrew dropping you off quite often lately. Are you two back together?" A warm blush immediately crept up my cheeks. I paused, folding a shirt, and then replied, "We're just taking things slowly, Mom. One step at a time." She looked at me with a knowing smile, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "I see," she said, her tone teasing. "Well, if you're really sure about giving Andrew another chance, then I give you my blessings." I felt a surge of happiness and gratitude. I walked over to her, enveloping her in a tight hug. • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife    The Fight Had Just Begun

Andrew's POVA few weeks had passed since the chaos surrounding Therese and everything else had settled. Alfred was back to work after being suspended for weeks without pay, and things with Sheila had been going progressively smoothly. I had been buried in work, the weight of the business constantly hanging over my head. As I sat in my office, typing away on my laptop, a sharp knock on the door interrupted my concentration. Before I could respond, the door swung open, and my parents entered. My secretary rushed in after them, looking flustered. It was obvious she had tried to stop them, but they were having none of it. "Andrew," my father called out, his tone already tinged with annoyance. My mother followed behind him, her expression unreadable but no less intense. My secretary stepped into my office and began to explain. "I... I apologize, Mr. Walker. They insisted on seeing you immediately," she said nervously. "They refused to wait for me to inform you before they barged i

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Second Chance

Sheila's POVAs the plane touched down in the city, I felt a sense of relief mixed with anxiety. We were finally back, but the weight of everything that had happened still loomed over me. As soon as the plane’s door opened, the cold rush of air hit us, and I could see the flashing lights of police cars waiting on the tarmac. They were already here, prepared for whatever would unfold next. As we began to step off the plane, the sound of raised voices reached us. Turning around, I saw Andrew's guards holding Anna back, their grip firm as she struggled against them. "Please, I just need to talk to her!" Anna cried out desperately, her voice trembling. "I promise I don't mean any harm!"Andrew’s expression darkened as he stepped forward. “Take her away,” he ordered, his tone cold and unyielding. “I don’t want to see her again.” “No! Please, Mistress, just a moment! I need to say something to you,” Anna pleaded, her voice growing louder. Her tear-filled eyes met mine, and the despe

Sheila's POVI didn’t know where Andrew was taking me, but I could see how furious and upset he was. His mood was dark, and I could feel the weight of his emotions without him saying a word to me. I didn’t even ask. There was something about him that made me want to follow quietly, unsure how I was going to calm him down, and not wanting to make his mood worse. He led me to a secluded part of the plane, a small, well-decorated room that looked almost like a personal cabin. Before I could ask any questions, Andrew shut the door behind us. His eyes, filled with a storm of emotions, met mine for a brief moment before he suddenly pulled me into his arms. I froze, caught off guard by the suddenness of his embrace. He pressed his head against my shoulder, holding me tightly as though trying to find some comfort. We stood there for a few seconds, both unsure of what to do. Hesitantly, I began to pat his back, uncertain of how to respond. “They turned against me! I trusted them so muc

Andrew’s POV I was trying so hard to understand what I had just heard. Anna, the woman who had served me so faithfully all these years, had been hiding something this massive from me. How could Therese be Anna's daughter? I stared at her, disbelief flooding my veins. I hadn’t known Anna had a child, let alone one who was working in my mansion under false pretenses. “What’s going on, Anna?” I asked, my voice thick with anger and confusion. “How is it possible that your daughter has been working here without my knowledge?” Anna’s face twisted with a mix of guilt and fear, tears welling up in her eyes. She had never been one to break down easily, but this time, it was different. “She’s not really my daughter, Master,” Anna explained shakily, her voice quivering. “She’s my late twin sister’s child… I raised her as my own after my sister passed away. I’ve done everything I could to give her a good life, everything. I sent money whenever I could, supported her when she needed it. I

Everything is confirmed,” the voice on the other end said. “Good,” I replied with a nod before hanging up. It had taken a lot of effort to organize this, but I knew it would definitely be worth it. I turned to Alfred. “Are the movement schedules finalized? And the cars we'll be using once we land?” He nodded. “Yes, Master. Everything has been arranged as per your instructions. Everything has been confirmed.” “Excellent,” I replied, leaning slightly against the window frame. I allowed myself a small smile, one of satisfaction. The truth was, I knew Sheila wouldn’t have come willingly if I had asked her outright. She would’ve found an excuse, some way to evade me. That’s why I had to take matters into my own hands. It wasn’t ideal, but it was necessary. Alfred tilted his head, ob
