I woke up early to prepare my husband's breakfast. Cassandra was assigned to everything when it comes to our son Austin. I agreed to our arrangement since her daughter passed away five years from now.I steamed a tuna fish with a pair of macaroni soup, his favorite. It's seven in the morning and I climbed upstairs to check Kent if he's already up.
I entered the room and my face brightened to see my husband laying on the mattress still sleeping soundly and peacefully. It's been five years when our lives turned upside down with all the dramas and heartaches we've been through together. I walked closer and sat beside him.
