*Damian*
I am held in chains on a platform outside of any cell block. I was on my knees, my head hanging low since the collar on my neck is so heavy. I was weak, I was starved and dehydrated, days without sleep. Every day, a woman comes to torture me with something new to offer. I’ve been beaten, stabbed, drowned, burned, suffocated, and much more. Yet somehow I healed quickly and no scars appeared on my body. I look up to see the sun rising over the wall, the cold air from the night still lingering. The sun was warming me up but not by much. I needed to escape! I need to do it today or else I’m afraid that my life will end here. I try to get up but my legs are weak from sitting on my knees. Blisters started to form on my wrists and knees. There are other prisoners here besides me. Monsters and humans alike, yet I did nothing wrong! Or did I? I couldn’t remember how I got here or why I’m here in the first place. All I remember is waking up in a cell next to a crazy lunatic screaming profanities at something. I needed some rest, so I closed my eyes for only a minute before my eyes opened on their own. I was on high alert as I heard someone coming towards me and I knew who it was. A Japanese woman with spider legs appeared in my line of vision. Every time I looked at her I wanted to vomit but I was too weak. She cocked her head to the side with an evil grin on her face. "You look tired, Warrior. Didn’t you sleep well?” The woman asks, getting into my face. I scowled at her saying nothing. She slaps me across the face. “Saying nothing will not save you from your punishment, Damian. I’ll admit that you are strong both physically and mentally, but eventually you will break like everyone else.” I continue to just scowl at her. She turns her head to whistle for a torturer to come. “Let us see if you are strong after this.” She whispers in my ear. She crawls away back from where she came from. That’s when I notice thunderous footsteps approaching. A shadow comes in front of the sun, blocking it out. The monster has one eye, is at least twelve feet tall, has sharp teeth and a horrible grin. "Welcome to your prison for all of eternity.” He says. I stay silent as my fists ball up in rage. I’ve had enough of this torture. “Strong silent type today? You won’t be silent for long.” He starts laughing as he sharpens some tools of torture. It took him about ten minutes to sharpen them. He cuts himself on his hand. “Hmm, sharp enough.” He says to himself. He turns around and outright stabs me in the abdomen. I let out a scream of pain as he cuts deeper. “That’s it, keep screaming! Soon you’ll run out of strength and you will break.” He then takes the bladed weapon out of my stomach. I notice that his blood was made out of fire or more specifically, lava. I started to whisper something to myself. “Huh? What is it that you say?” He comes closer to hear me. My plan is in motion. “Is that a prayer? There is no God that can help you here.” He laughs manically. "I need no God.” I say before I bite his ear off. He screams in pain, holding where his ear used to be. I spit the ear towards one of my chains to melt it. Once it melted, I used it to break the other chain off. With both hands free I use my strength to take off the collar on my neck. The brute comes towards me with a club but I shatter his knee with a brutal punch. I grab a sword to decapitate him, yelling as I swing it. I cut his head clean off with one swing. The guards come quickly with spears, swords, knives, and other weapons of that nature. I ready myself for a fight seeing that there are about one hundred of them and only one of me. I charge towards them yelling a war cry.*Warden* I go through a stack of documents on my desk, retracting my spider legs into my back. I searched for Damian’s file to see why he was so strong, so well powered, and so forth. At last, I found it in a drawer where I keep a bottle of wine. I pulled it out, poured myself a glass and drank as I read his file. Strange, he doesn’t appear to have a birthdate or parents. In fact he has no history of any kind. As I read, a commotion from outside drew my attention to the door. The door suddenly kicked itself open and in front of me was a blood stained Damian, anger lacing his features. He slowly walks towards me with a sword in his hand. He is breathing very heavily. “Give me the keys so I can walk out of here. No one else needs to get hurt.” He threatens. I let out a shallow laugh. “Do not laugh at me!” He yells. “You’re adorable! Thinking you can get out of here alive. No one has ever escaped the Prison of the Damned and that record will remain unbroken.” I say, calmly. “Though I am impressed that you made it here to my office. Tell you what, let’s make a deal. If you can kill the biggest fighter in this prison, I will let everyone in this place go back to their lives and leave everyone alone for all of eternity.” I mocked. There was no way he could defeat what I had in store. “And if I don’t defeat it?” He asks. “Then you will stay and the torture that comes with this stay will be the prisoners choice. Do we have a deal?” I ask. He nods. “Deal.” We shake hands as I teleport us to the coliseum. I sit on a throne overlooking the whole battlefield as I release the prisoners from their cells. All of them take their seats, not knowing what is going on. I look upon them. All their souls are broken since most have been here for many centuries or millennia. All of us see Damian, alone on the battlefield. I’ll admit that he has impressed me so far getting through hundreds of guards that were armed with stabbing weapons and crossbows. But my champion in this coliseum has never been defeated nor has he ever been injured. I use my magic to conjure a table of weapons in front of Damian. “Choose your weapon!” I shout down at him. Damian comes to the table to pick out two swords with serrated blades. This man sure did love his swords. I nod at a servant of mine to ready himself to pull a lever. “Release the Kaiju!” And with that my servant pulls the lever.*Damian* “Release the Kaiju!” The warden shouts. I readied myself for one hell of a fight as a gigantic gate opened. The prisoners stayed silent. At first, nothing seemed to move in the darkness or even made a sound. But I spoke too soon when one of this thing’s footsteps felt like an earthquake. Another footstep cracks the ground all around me as the monster steps out of the darkness. It had a lizard-like body with bat wings, spines out of its back, large hands, saber tooth tiger fangs, long claws on its hands and feet, and three heads! It lets out a massive roar that deafens me for a couple minutes. The prisoners cheered as the roar excited them. Please God let me live to see the rest of this day!She begins to crawl towards me as I ready myself for her attacks. She spits acid towards me, missing my head by only inches. I go under her to grab a shield so I can block her attacks. “She seems weak right below her abdomen!” I looked towards her abdomen to see that she was pregnant with eggs. Now I had a plan forming in my head on how to take her down. She spits more acid at me. This time I blocked it, throwing it back at her. It burns two of her eyes out of their sockets. She growls at me with hate in her features. I throw the shield at her to daze her. I use a sword to cut off one of her legs, grabbing it to stab her in the stomach! But she lets out an angry scream before she grabs me, tossing me around like a rag doll. One of her legs slices through my right leg, my chest, and both of my arms. She spits acid in my face, disintegrating my jaw. Her fangs came close to me and next thing I know I feel a sharp pain. She bit me! That bitch! I could hear my heart beating rapidly in my
I had been running for nearly two hours with an injured body and a fractured state of mind. My legs felt as if they were about to give out but I still kept going. I finally spotted a house that had been abandoned for years, still it was worth a try to see if there was anything here. I looked around and sure enough it was abandoned, no one in sight. Ever since I stepped foot in the prison, I had no clothes to keep me warm at night or even to cover me up. I only had underwear on! That would be so embarrassing if I found someone while I had just underwear on. I opened the door to find that the owners had left everything here: furniture, dishes, food, and clothes. I went to a laundry hamper to see if these clothes would even fit me and sure enough they looked to be my size. I quickly change into some sweatpants and a dark long sleeve shirt, not the best clothes but at least I am comfy now. It wasn’t until my stomach growled that I didn’t stop looking around. “We need food.” The voic
*Damian* I awoke in a… cabin? Last time I checked I was in the woods! Ow my head! What the hell happened? I sat myself up, dazed and confused when I came face to face with a beautiful woman! She had the most beautiful hazel eyes that I have ever seen with reddish brunette hair. She wore a black cloak with a dark blue shirt and black pants under it. I looked around her and saw that I was in some kind of bedroom or something like that. Behind her was a black cat that looked scared. “Hi.” I finally managed to speak. She swallowed a huge lump in her throat but managed to get words out. “Hello.” She says. She seemed nervous in my presence. I stood up and she jumped. Why was she so nervous? “Look, I'm not going to hurt you or anything. I can tell you’re nervous and scared but unless I have a reason to, I ain’t going to hurt you.” I say, calmly. She nods and looks down. “Um… what’s your name?” I asked. “E-E-Ember.” She stutters. Ember? What a be
*Damian* I could tell that something was going through Ember’s mind the whole time we ate. Something was bothering her and it was almost like she was hesitant to talk about it. Her mother had told us to get to bed since we would work early in the morning. I decided that I could sleep in Ember’s cabin since she had room to spare. I may not be sleeping on a bed but it was worth the warmth of the cabin. But as soon as I closed my eyes, I heard sniffling. I listened closely as the sniffling turned into crying and it was coming from Ember’s room. Was she crying? I don’t know if I should go in interrupting her sleep to see? “Go to her.” Drago sympathizes. I got off the floor to walk over to her door, the light still shining in her room. I knock softly. “Come in.” She says with a little sadness in her voice. I opened the door carefully to see her and my heart shattered at the sight. Her cheeks and nose were red and puffy from crying as she also sniffled more.
*Damian* “Well since we’ve made it known that I’m a witch, what the hell are you since you heal so fast?” She asks. I raise an eyebrow. “Come again?” I asked, unsure of what she just asked. Her jaw drops. “Oh my god! You’re a werewolf!” She points a finger, accusing me. “I'm pretty sure I don’t have fur, a sense of entitlement, or a lack of manners so no I’m not a werewolf. Even if I was, I'm pretty sure I’d only transform at night!” I say. She laughs. “Werewolves don’t transform just at night! They can shift anytime and anywhere. So clearly you’re not a wolf? Are you a vampire? And before you say no…” “I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM!!!” I yelled. She jumps as well as Binx. I sigh. “I’m sorry…” I sit down against a tree trunk. “Ever since a month ago, I’ve been trying to figure out who I am, what my place in this world is and what I… am. I can’t remember anything before I was in that prison and it’s driving me nuts! To liv
*Damian* *Three months later* So what has happened in the last three months you ask? Well nothing. Boring ass shit that you readers think is a critical plot point. Well it’s not one of those stories! And if you were any smarter than the book character that you’re reading about… you should probably listen to the book character! ‘Oh haha fourth wall break, maybe it is something important’. Listen here reader, it's my story and I don’t care what you think it’s not gonna happen. I sigh, anyways now that that’s out of the mind, I have been doing some chores around Ember’s farm. It’s gradually getting hotter as summer rolls around. I had quickly become accustomed to farm life. I had made some friends with the chickens, fed all the animals at specific times including Binx. Binx and I have been getting along pretty good but he was starting to ask a lot of questions, mostly if I had a crush on anyone. If I told him that I kinda had a crush on Ember, I think those cla
*Damian* I was finally happy! Ember was mine and she will continue to be mine until she says she no longer wants me but I have a feeling she’ll never let me go. Honestly, I don’t mind it either. Since Ember and I were still not ready for each other’s company yet, I slept in my bed until she could grow more comfortable with me. I flicked out the light in the lantern and headed straight for bed. I fell asleep in no time. *Flashback* I woke up to the sound of thunder outside as it rumbled the ground below me. I get out of my bed to watch the storm from my window. I narrow my eyes as I see something moving in the trees. I squint to see what it is but all I can make out is a shadow. It drew closer as it walked. I see that it’s a man! He appears to be in his early forties from what I saw, not much taller than my father, and he wore some kind of robe. He also had a rice field hat on. Who is this guy? My door opened, making me jump out of my skin.
*Damian* I come outside for some fresh air to let my lungs breathe some fresh air. I paced the yard not wanting to invoke the Yokai any more than I had to. That spirit… I didn’t even see it until my rage started to boil. I wasn’t even gonna bring up the teleportation thing to Ember because I was too wrapped up about the Yokai calling me a “demon” and even Ember said she noticed some things that are demonic about me. Was I truly an evil demon? Is that why I was locked up in that prison? Did I kill someone or steal an innocent person’s soul? So many questions were popping into my head. Why can’t I remember if I was a demon? I thought I was human all this time but I was fucking wrong! I should be damned for all of eternity and burning in fire right now but I’m not. "Because you are not a full demon!” Drago’s voice sounded close but not in my head. Suddenly a dark shadow appeared in front of me! I was about to yell until this thing covered my mouth and shushed me. I looked clo
*Ember, One Month Later* Bi Han and Hanzo are great teachers for combat training. Hanzo has been teaching me kicks and Bi Han was all about the upper body. I have also noticed that my balance is greater, my strength is increasing and so is my speed. I can’t believe that much changed within a month. My magick is also so much more powerful than before. Although, Damian isn’t really training with me and it makes me feel lonely at times. But he’s training a lot harder than before and I’ve gotta say that I’m noticing. His shoulders are broader, his arms more larger, and his abs got more defined. I think Binx had to tell me to stop drooling over him the other day. I was in my room changing clothes for the evening when I had sensed a presence. A low growl came from their chest and I turned to see a shirtless Damian at the doorway, leaning on the door itself. I gulped as I knew I was just in my undergarments. “Hi.” I squeaked. “Hello kitten.” He smirks at me. His voice was
*Ember* "It wasn't too long after Dad died that Bi Han and Hanzo showed up. They were old family friends and they had trained the other witches in my dad's family." I told Damian as he sat there. "They may only be masters of water and fire but with their knowledge, I managed to master the other elements too. It took time but eventually I learned. Hanzo is the one that taught me how to use my fire ability to send letters and such." Hanzo laughs. "Although when you first started to send letters, they'd arrive in ashes." I cringe. "At least you didn't burn anything down. More than I can say for your ancestors." "She burnt my tail though! Did you forget that!?" Binx screeches. "It wasn't my fault you were in the way! I told you to move!" Binx holds his tail with his paws as he shoots invisible daggers at me. "It did grow back though and I'd say it grew back very nicely." Hanzo comments. "Yeah yeah. Make sure she doesn't beat me up while training this time
*Ember* It's been over a week since Damian finally remembered his past and a week since Bella and Casey left. Damian decided that we should take a walk today. Binx of course had to come along with us. We walked hand in hand as Binx trotted ahead, eyeing up the birds in the tree canopy above us. "Binx Mayflower, don't even think about it." He shoots me a look over his shoulder. "I'm not thinking about anything. I'm just admiring the beauty of nature." He says with a smirk as we walk into a clearing. "Sure." I roll my eyes. Damian stifles his laughter. "You got an issue?" I turned my attention to him. "Nope." He says as his stomach growls. "Okay maybe I do have a hunger issue." I start to laugh at him when my stomach growls too. "Sounds like you have a hunger issue too." He says while laughing. My face flushes as I turn my head. "Maybe." Damian looks around. "There might be something to eat around here." His eyes scan the tree tops before they stop.
*Third Person POV* Damian had finally learned about his past. A past that he could never forget again. A past that he himself wished would have stayed buried. It all started during the creation of humanity and the rest of the supernatural world. Selene and Inti couldn’t ignore the great battle on Earth any longer. Jehovah had made a mistake that he himself could not fix alone. Though he was aided by his brothers and sisters, he needed the help of his mother and father. Angels and demons fought a war for thousands of years that has never settled from the likes of the Gods. So Inti created plants, animals, and humans while Selene created her version of peace. Werewolves, vampires, witches, and many more settled on one planet. Now that life had emerged on Earth, Selene and Inti told the demons and angels to never ever come back. For centuries, the life they created stayed peaceful even with their differences. But as all good things start, they always come to an end. Lucif
*Damian* “Ember, are you one hundred percent sure you're ready for this?” I asked. I didn’t want her to be uncomfortable at all about what was about to go down. “Yes Damian. We've gone over this how many times? I promise I'm ready." She smiles as she says this. “Ok.” I get up from the bed to lock the door so no one disturbs us. I come back over to the bed to kiss her. Ember returns the kiss with a lot of passion and love. I kiss her deeply to taste every inch of her mouth. She tasted so good! Alright Damian, be cool! This is when I place my hand on her shirt. “May I?” I asked in a deep seductive voice. She nods her head as I slowly lift it over her head. I slip it off and I’m met with the most beautiful chest on a woman ever! I licked my lips involuntarily. I slowly took off my own shirt and her eyes were wide as she also licked her lips. She touches my chest, roaming down to the V I had going on. She covers herself with her arms, embarrassed of her body. Honestly it
*Ember, Three Months Later* It's been almost 4 months since Damian and I started dating and 3 months since our talk. Our relationship has grown tremendously and I even celebrated my 22nd birthday with him. Fall has officially arrived. Damian and I went into the village today for a date. It was only his second or third time coming here. Lots of the guys were checking me out but as soon as they saw Damian, they looked away. We went to some of my favorite shops and even went to meet an old friend of my father's who approved of Damian. I was walking ahead of him when it suddenly dawned on me. "Damian?" I turn to face him, my cloak spinning around me. "Yes, Ember?" "Can we stop at the flower shop for a second?" "Yeah." He smiles at me. "Thank you." I kiss him on the lips before heading inside the flower shop. I get a bundle of wildflowers and pay the clerk before thanking them. I head back outside and walk up to Damian. "There's someone else I want you to mee
*Damian* The door to Ember’s workshop opens. Finally! I was getting a little bored from watching the storm. I turn and see a strange man in front of me and I instantly think about him hurting Ember! I wrap my hands around his throat, lifting him off the floor as a growl escapes my chest. “DAMIAN STOP!!” Ember yells. I look and see that she is fine. I see another woman with her too. I instantly let the man go as he gasped for air. “Sorry.” I quickly apologize. He coughs. “It’s alright, I should have expected that. Wow you’ve got a grip.” He says, massaging his throat. I could see that it would bruise later. He holds out a hand. “My name is Casey Flynn.” He introduces himself. I shake his hand. “Nice to meet you. I’m Damian Morningstar.” I introduced myself. “Sorry for trying to kill you.” “Believe me, I don’t think you can since I’m a Cosmic Warlock.” He smiles. “Oh and this is my wife, Bella Flynn. She’s a psychic siren.” I shake hands with Bella
*Unknown* I teleported by lightning bolt to land on mortal grounds. I sensed that something powerful had come to these lands. I looked around the area to see that trees have been leveled by a single blast of power. Footprints are scorched on the ground and the river is full of sulfur and brimstone. Is there a demon here? It had to be very powerful in order to level a forest. I didn’t sense any demons though. They like to be known, especially Lucifer, Satan, Beezlebub, and Asmodeus. But still, this demon or whatever it was, had a powerful aura. I look down to see blood caked on the ground. This blood wasn’t normal though. I squat down and sniff the blood, it smells dead like it's been here for a while but this just happened only moments ago. I followed the blood trail for a little while before discovering a gruesome sight! My daughter! Yokai is dead! She was a spirit but I didn’t sense an angel! I sensed demonic energy! I began to cry as I looked at my now dead, well deader, daug
I’ve been at this desk for nearly five hours now and I'm still confused as hell! I sigh and rub my eyes with my paws, looking out the window. I see that the sky has a purple hue. I can’t tell if the sun is going down or up. And of course it’s going up! Have I been up all night? I look at the shadow clock and see I wasn’t here for five hours, I was here for eight! Ugghhh! I watch as a blur zips past me. I look out the door to see Damian going out to exercise. He sees me at the desk. “Find something interesting?” He asks. “Don’t even ask…” I begin to threaten when a yawn escapes from my mouth. “I didn’t sleep.” “Oohhh.” He cringes. Wait a minute! Now I understand! I looked over at Ember’s notes again to see that she was writing this down to test Damian! Hmm I need to sleep first then see about all of this later. “Hope you sleep tonight.” He says before heading out. I decided to follow him and see what he does. *Damian* I decided to go for a walk and clear
