2024-10-29 19:42:56They arrived at a cafe near Dan's village and parked their car in the designated parking lot. Adeline was about to go out the car when she remembered her friend Dan. Adeline creased her brow in remembrance of her friend.
"Shit!" she exclaims, cursing herself.
Her friend must have been annoyed and irritated by the fact that she was still waiting for her to come. It had already waited half an hour, and now it will have to wait another half hour due to Drake's unexpected arrival to speak with her. She was about to pick up her phone, which was next to her, to call Dan to inform and apologize to her because she will be late again when Drake knocked on her car window.
She looked outside the car and saw Drake move his hand, signaling her to get out in her car. She turned off the car engine before leaving. Drake then started walking towards the cafe, and she just followed him.
