CHAPTER 101

Meily stood at the bus stop, occasionally checking her watch. The scorching sun made her feel a little lethargic. Today she felt tired after teaching all day, also attending teachers' meetings which are usually held once a month.

Even so, she felt grateful because, thanks to her busy schedule today, she didn't have to hurry home, so she could avoid Shandy when the man picked up Shannon that afternoon. However, she didn't know what the man would do to her because of the incident that morning, so she decided to avoid it by going back to her apartment instead of going to her husband's big family.

The woman boarded the bus that would take her to her apartment. She felt the place was very safe. After an argument with her husband, Shandy, Meily felt that this place was the safest place to escape for a while.
