"How can you even compare Rudy to Harlan? Harlan is a responsible man!" Zoey suddenly interjected.

Calla felt regretful after hearing Zoey's outburst. She thought to herself, "Harlan must be the apple of Zoey's eye! I better watch my tongue and not say anything bad about him, even in jest."

"Don't sweat it, we're family." Calla brushed it off with a smile.

That night, Calla stayed over at Harlan's place. It was a three-bedroom, two-living room unit.
