"Shut up!" Alpha Killan's voice thundered, making the girl shudder in fear. "Who sent you here?" He asked the girl, grabbing her by her collar. "I said, who sent you?" He asked, ignoring the girl's cry that he was hurting her. "Maybe you don't know this, but I, Alpha Killan, don't stand anyone talking ill of my Luna; do you hear me?" He asked, dropping the girl on the ground.

"I am not speaking ill of her. I am saying the truth; please give me my money." The girl cried, grabbing Luna Alina's legs. Alpha Killan kicked her in the ribs, and the girl rolled on the ground, coughing out blood. "Please don't kill me, Alpha Killan. Just kill me after I am done buying my mother medicine, which I can't do until Luna Alina gives me my share." The poor girl pleaded while sitting on her legs.

The elder, who had been questioning her from the beginning, picked her up from the floor and asked her, How much do your mother's drugs cost?"

"A hundred dollars, sir," she responded, a glint of light appear

Guards took cover, shielding themselves from the bullets coming their way. It didn't take long before all of them were safe in the pack house and had sat trying to figure out where the sniper was located."Sir, our experts know where he is. And right now, as we are speaking, they are out there tracking him; they only said that he shouldn't know that he's tracked," the head of the guard said."So, what are we supposed to do until they come?" another guard asked."We should buy the experts time. If we lock ourselves in here, the sniper will suspect something and may run away. So we need to get out there and fight him; that way we will keep him busy and our men will find him with ease." Alpha Killan explained, and they both went out shooting at nothing. Lucky enough, their plan was working because the bullets never stopped. Alina, who was standing beside the window in their upstairs room, smirked, looking at the saga unfolding below her.Of course, she was the mastermind behind all that.

Alpha Killan sighed, waking up from the ground. He helped Alina up as well and then pulled her closer to him to shield her from the scorching sun. Looking back at the guards, who were looking at her with curiosity, he cleared his throat and said, "Come on guys. You should all know that my Alina is here with sharp hearing. I am sure General Kian mentioned that somewhere in the middle of the sentence, and none of us heard it but Alina. She has always been keen.""If that's the case, why didn't she just say it when General Kian questioned her? She kept on mumbling, making us stay out here longer than we expected," the guard, with a smirk on his face, complained."It's over, guys; let's get back to the house before we collapse right here. The sun is so hot that you would think the moon gods have struck a curse on us." Another guard waved his hands, asking the other one to let go of all that."We are cursed." Another guard, who was older than the rest, mumbled"We are?" Another chuckled, "

Alpha Killan walked to his office with his sister trailing behind him. Kamilina walked to the drawer where she had locked the file, and with a wide smile on her face, she handed it over to him. Here, brother, I wonder what is in there, but I hope it will help you get to the goon." She then slumped on the chair, crossed her legs over the table, and scrolled on her phone as she waited for her brother to tell her what was in there. Before Killan could read the first page, he received a call from the pack doctor, telling him that Alina had fallen ill once again."I'll be there in a second," he said, pulling back his suit coat and handing over the file back to Kamilina. Keep it safe. You may lock it back in the drawer you did because I have a hunch that with it, I'll get to find out something big." He kissed his sister's cheek and walked out of the office."Brother, what happened? You promised me dinner, remember?" Kamilina called back, swinging her legs off the table."I know that little

"You, what a bitch! Speak up!" Kamilina yelled while raising her hand to slap her, but Killan caught it midway."Little one, don't make me angry. Now get out of here before I change my mind about getting you the latest phone." He threatened her, and she quickly dropped her hands on her side and skipped out of there. While at the door, she turned back to her brother and said, "I don't like her brother. She looks suspicious to me. Dump her!" Upon saying that, she was led out of there, closing the door behind her with a loud bang."I heard about the file when I was still standing at the door, I swear," She said when Kamilinia was completely out of the office."It's alright, and I am sorry about all that she has told you. Just go and take a rest, okay? I and my men will handle this mess." He sighed."I wanted to help you look around to see if the file is safe." She suggsted. She wanted to stay. There was no way she was going out of there before knowing where it was. The task was difficult

Alina's phone rang, and she quickly picked it up. "Tell me?" She asked the person on the other end."I finished him, Miss Alina." The person responded happily."Good, get out of there quickly. I am sending your money to you." She hung up, sent his money, and slumped on the bed. "You dared hang up on me, Killan. You have nothing left to give to me, so what is the purpose of having you?" She laughed evilly. A thought crossed her mind, and she quickly made a call to someone else. It was the fake Alpha Cameroon who had helped her find the truck driver who would find Killan and kill him. Because she hadn't found the file yet, she thought it would be better to kill Kilan so he would never get to read it.She knew after his death she would be crowned the Alpha of the pack, and that meant she would chase everyone out and turn the pack into her home, full of evil people, because she was going to bring in all her friends and underdogs. He said this while squeezing her hands softly. They walked silently until they reached her room."Do you want to get in?" She asked him, her eyes glowing with excitement. Before Geeral Kian could respond, Alpha Killan came from nowhere."What did I say? Are you trying to get under my sister's pants?" he asked, crossing her hands under his chest."I... not at all, Killan. I was about to send her in." Kian responded while massaging the back of his head."Whatever, just don't get her pregnant, or else you know what I will do," he warned, and turning to her sister, he said, "open the door. Alpha Cameroon, his beta, and all the other alphas present in the world arrived at Killan's palace as instructed by his grandfather. Many people were confused to see Putin in the alpha's chair instead of Killan, but Putin assured them that Killan was still in charge of the pack and that he was out of the country reflecting on his mistakes. Of course, he didn't hide anything from them. He told them what he had done, and that was why he had to intervene; otherwise, the pack would have sunk completely. He urged that they forget their rivalry and at least come together for once to fight the Lycan out there, who had already formed his own pack and would soon attack them. He also made them know that although his grandson Killan wasn't there, he would soon arrive with help because out there he didn't just go to reflect on what he had done but to find ways in which they would either get rid of the Lycan or come into peaceful terms with him. It wasn't a secret, but they also knew that whatever

Her mom squeezed her hand.Yes, mom, we will figure something out." She flashed a fake smile that looked real and turned her attention to the boiling water in the sufuria."Your mom told me what happened. Are you hurt anywhere?" Lakisha was asked by her father the moment she walked into his office with the bowl of steaming porridge. No, dad, although the bowl broke. "I don't know what to do. I thought with Ash, not here, they would never come to know about all of this, but Alpha Putin... Jeez, what should I do, sister?" She asked while breaking the hug."The only thing you can do is reflect on your mistakes. You should at least accept whatever punishment you'll be given, but I did warn you, sister. Grandfather Putin started by looking over who had released the pack's secrets to their enemies, because according to the pack's statistics, that was when Killan started sinking. All their enemies were using his secrets against them, and there was nothing they could do. He reopened the investigation because, even though Alina was put behind bars, the file still read that it was Camila who had done that.It was in that process that he was led back to the Alpha Cameroon mansion, where he paid a visit. Alpha Cameroon was shocked to see Grandfather Putin in his mansion because he had never interacted with him. The only person he had been interacting with was his grandson, Alpha Kilan, even though they had been enemies from the beginning. Grandfather Putin bumped into his son at the main gate when going to the garage to take his car.Father, are you going back?" His son asked him."I am heading to Alpha Cameroon's mansion." It was minutes later, when he was done bickering with General Kian and had sent him out of his room, that they noticed that Kamilina was not in their presence.General Kian guessed that she must have gone to her to unpack, but he came back saying she wasn't there. There was no place Kamilina could go apart from her brother's room, Kian's room, the kitchen, and her own room, so when they found her in none of those places, they panicked. Alpha Kilan's mind jumped to the Lycan out there; they were yet to trap him, so he rushed out, calling her name, panicking, thinking the Lycan had abducted his sister. What would he tell her parents if that were to happen, given that they were still angry with him over what had happened?Although they never showed it, he knew deep down that they wanted to stay mad at him for being the cause of his grandfather's death. She had lacked nothing, and she didn't know how she would thank him. She also met the grandmother that meant the world to Kian, and she had promised to come back as soon as she could and spend some time with her. By the time Ash and Camila had gone back home, dusk had already caught up with them. They had burned the entire Grey clan and thus couldn't succeed in bringing any of them to their side. All his life, and that was until a few seconds ago, he had been nothing but a werewolf. He was a partial witch because of his mother, but that didn't have anything to do with him being some prophesied mythical creature.Just like the Lycans, guardians were also believed to be myths. Camila and Ash walked closer to a group of wolves lying beside a river. They figured out they must have been from the same clan because of their gray colors. By living in the mountains for so long, Camila came to learn that the rogue wolves gathered themselves according to their fur colors and built their own clans. They had a different way of choosing their leader because they didn't go after someone who had much wisdom compared to the others, but they went as per their strengths. After gathering each other, the rogue wolves would shift into their human forms and engage in fights. The one who would defeat all the others would be crowned the same day as their leader."This is the gray clan." Camila whispered to Ash, who was walking beside her.
