CHAPTER 152. ANGELINA DISAPPEARS

Emily fell asleep in Louis' room. She only woke up when she heard the door of the room open, then entered the owner of the room and immediately approached Emily.

"Sorry, I disturbed your sleep," Louis said with a hint of guilt. Had he not come in earlier, Emily would still be asleep right now.

"No, you didn't disturb me. I think I've slept long enough anyway," Emily said, still with that raspy, waking voice.

"What time is it?" she asked as she felt around the sofa for her mobile phone.

"It's eight o'clock," Louis said before Emily could find her phone.

"Ah, it's already late. Are you still not off duty, Lou? I might be a nuisance if I stay here, so I'd better go home."

"If you want to go home then I'll take you because my duty hours are also over," Louis said quickly.

"Really? You're not lying just to take me home, are you?" Emily asked probingly.

"No, I'm already off duty. Come on, I'll take you home."
