Looks like there'd be quite a show soon.
Ethan nodded, finding her rationale sound.
Unexpectedly, Diana turned to him.
"You're too slow, step on it."
Puzzled, Ethan asked, "Ms. Thompson, is there something urgent?"
"Yeah... indeed, very urgent."
She glanced at the handsome man beside her, a faintly suggestive smile playing on her lips.
She was eager to be with her ice-cold man.
Wasn't that urgent?
Pressured by Diana, Ethan increased the speed.
The car raced onwards, swiftly reaching John's private residence.
After escorting the two inside, Ethan promptly drove away.
Diana, draped in John's suit, walked into the mansion with John.
She ascended the spiral staircase, taking the lead.
Neither of them spoke.
In the vast and quiet space, only the faint echoes of their footsteps remained.
Halfway up, Diana abruptly halted.
Turning, she glanced back at John
"This is your room. Who would see us?" Andrew's eyes behind his glasses flickered, a hint of scrutiny in them. "Tony, you're still avoiding me." Andrew extended slender fingers, tilting Tony's chin up. Their eyes met. Tony's jet-black pupils flickered with a glint of wary coldness. Was he guarding himself? On Andrew's handsome and refined face, a slight furrow formed on his brow, a probing glint in his eyes. Releasing his grip, a touch of tenderness surfaced in Andrew's eyes. "Let's talk this out properly this time, shall we?" Meeting those warm eyes, Tony quickly looked away. He reminded himself to stay composed. This guy was a scoundrel! A hypocritical scoundrel! He couldn't let himself be deceived by Andrew's false façade again! "Talk about what?" Tony steadied himself, wearing an indifferent expression. "Tony, stay with me," Andrew spoke frankly.
Andrew suddenly opened his eyes, then holding Tony's waist, pushed him onto the nearby bed. Standing by the bed, he systematically removed his suit, then his tie. One leg knelt between Tony's legs, placing the tie in Tony's hand. Tony glared, "Wanna play again?" Andrew sometimes behaved roughly in bed, often using ties to bind him. A refined brute! But the man just smiled faintly. Bending down, he whispered in Tony's ear, "Didn't I say tonight is for you to play? So, the tie is for you to use." Tony squinted his pretty eyes. Didn't expect that. Andrew could be so seductive? Tony grabbed the tie, swiftly flipped over, attempting to bind Andrew's hands. But he wasn't adept at this. After all, he had always been the one being tied up. After fumbling for a while, he managed to loosely secure it. Tony narrowed his eyes, carefully studying the man in front of him.
With a gentle smile, he turned and left. Leaving Stella utterly puzzled. What was going on? Andrew seemed off today? Puzzled, Tony opened the door and appeared. Stella squinted. "What's going on? Last time, you said the intimate relationship between you two was over?" "Yeah, it's over." Tony shrugged. "So now... we're probably in a romantic relationship." Stella: ... "What are you doing? You said Andrew wasn't serious about you at all. Did you ever think about that? Have you gone crazy?!" "Maybe." Tony took out a cigarette from his pocket, his eyes briefly softened. "Maybe I am crazy to believe his nonsense." But Andrew's words were too tempting. Spending a lifetime with him... He'd gamble one last time. ... When Diana woke up, it was nearly noon. She sat up in bed, her hair a disheveled mess, feeling disoriented for a few seconds. "Did I ov
The men swiftly shifted their demeanor, showering Mr. Lin with flattery, their faces flushed with excitement. Mr. Lin remained composed. "You can head back now, let's catch up another day." The men bid their polite goodbyes. Left outside, Diana's feelings were hard to articulate. Gotta admit, these old gentlemen's acting skills are better than Anthony's. Once everyone left, Mr. Lin straightened his Tang suit and sat up straight. Assuming a profound and serious expression, he looked at Diana and coughed lightly. "Ms. Thompson, how did you arrive so quickly?" As per his calculations, even if Diana had immediately set off, given the traffic conditions, she wouldn't have arrived for at least another half-hour, enough time for him to pack up and put on a show. So, how did she suddenly appear? Caught off guard. Completely disrupting his plan. Diana approached, "I rode my motorcycle." "M
"Tired." He said. Forget it. No matter how much he showed off, he felt like he couldn't surprise her. "Since you're into art, I bet you've got a good eye for aesthetics. Looking at it now, you've got the knack for design, aesthetics, and hands-on skills. Now... what you need is practice," Mr. Lin remarked. Mr. Lin shifted his gaze. "Little girl, I do value you, but to become my apprentice, you need to pass a test." He spun the laptop on the table, displaying a website. "This is the briefing for the New Talent Design Competition. Every year, numerous budding designers participate in this competition, specifically in the fields of jewelry and fashion design. If you can secure an outstanding award, I'll acknowledge you." A competition... Diana narrowed her eyes, a hint of determination glinting within. As expected. Becoming Mr. Lin's apprentice wasn't going to be easy. However... She enjoyed
A few bouncers gathered their courage and lunged at Diana once again. Yet, she remained unfazed, calmly blocking their attacks. Despite her slender arms and legs, her punches packed an unexpected force. In a blink, only one bouncer remained standing. "Don't... Don't come any closer!" the man was drenched in sweat. What in the world was this woman? Next to him, Godber exclaimed, "Wow! I never knew you were this skilled!" Hearing this, the bouncer abruptly turned his head. He was close to Godber. Since this man and Diana were accomplices, then... His eyes narrowed, swiftly turning to grab Godber, a knife against his neck. "Don't come any closer, or I'll kill him!" Wide-eyed, Godber showed fear in his eyes. "What are you doing? Murder is against the law..." Diana's gaze turned icy. "Let him go. This has nothing to do with him." Seeing Diana compromised, Scarlett showe
"This time, I'll see where you run," Kirin stepped forward, just as a blade "whooshed" past him. Mitbahl dashed forward, blocking Kirin's path. Godber quickly followed from behind. With Kirin by their side, they launched an attack against Mitbahl. Despite his best efforts, Mitbahl struggled against the two. He was overpowered, sent flying meters away, crashing into a massive rock at the roadside. The impact shattered the rock into pieces. "D*mn it!" Mitbahl cried out in agony. Godber and Kirin didn't allow him a moment's respite, charging forward again. Mitbahl roared, "Misoup, if you don't show up now, I'm done for!" As his words echoed, a petite figure emerged from the nearby bushes. Misoup aimed a machine gun at them. Rapid gunfire erupted, flames and debris scattering in chaos. In the midst of the confusion, Mitbahl's cries rang out. "Damn it, Misoup, are you t
He composed himself, but the next moment, there were urgent knocks on the door. Before he could respond, Jacob barged in. "John, urgent matter." Jacob's tone was serious. "About Ms. Thompson." Hearing the mention of her name, John's eyes flickered. He muttered something to his clients and closed his laptop. "Speak." Jacob's voice lowered, "Ms. Thompson has been kidnapped by the Nelsons. Mitbahl just sent the message; three secret guards from the Nelsons appeared and took Ms. Thompson away with a helicopter..." Jacob stopped midway because he sensed the atmosphere in the room had shifted drastically. At the mention of Diana being kidnapped, John's originally indifferent expression turned frosty. The room's atmosphere dropped to freezing point, suffocating with pressure. He looked at Jacob. The icy, distant gaze seemed bottomless, shrouded in darkness and danger. Jacob lowered his head, fee
