Chapter Thirteen

“I’m not having sex with you,” I scoffed.

He blinked. “I didn’t know making sure you’re safe was having sex.”

I glared at him. “I’m not a fucking moron. I know what you’re scheming inside that small male brain of yours.”

The bartender jogged toward us. “Not to break up the pissing match, but Mack, we should get going. The guys won’t wait long for us.”

“Sorry to keep you waiting,” I mumbled, turning on my heels and heading toward my apartment.

“She thought I wanted to have sex with her tonight,” Craft said loudly to the bartender. 

The bartender laughed. “She must have a big ego. How do you stand for that in the office?”

I stopped in my tracks, spinning and marching back to them. They both watched me, smug smiles on their faces. 

“I do NOT have an ego,” I snarled.

The bartender shrugged his shoulders
