The Strauss family seemed to be accepting Akira in my life well. However, the meeting I had with them was without the presence of my mother. She had distanced herself from most of Strauss family members after her separation from my father.

They did not like her much and had called her the other woman who had destroyed my father’s first marriage to another woman of the Strauss family’s choice. I could not blame them for not liking my mother. She was indeed a difficult person to comprehend.
