Outside the Burkley’s Manor.

Brianna let out a relieved sigh as soon as she left the manor. She’s glad that the tense lunch event is already over, and she’s happy that she doesn’t need to see Master Burkley until her ‘wedding’.

“I see that someone looks very relieved, huh?” Jack said as he stepped into the car, putting on a seatbelt. “Is lunch with my father that bad?”

“Is not just bad but horrible,” Brianna said bluntly, huffing slightly as she saw her reflection in the car window. “I mean, how come Master Burkley can eat with maids on both of his laps and ask me to join? Like please…” The Omega paused, choosing her words carefully. “I’m your guest, and you, are the master of the house as well as the most prominent Alpha on East Lourvey. Can’t he just at least show some respect or his noble side? Seriously, sitting in his lap? How come he ask me that when my status are his future in law,”

She said, rolling her eyes, which made the Alpha laugh loudly. "Well, that's the great Master Bu

The bell on the door chimed again, as another customer entered the Moon Cafe. The young man who previously entered, now stood in front the cafe counter, where a barista greeted him, with a welcoming smile.“Good afternoon, sir. What would you like to order?” the barista asked, ready to assist. The young man took a moment to glance at the big menu above the barista counter as if contemplating his options, and after a brief silence, he finally spoke,“I will go with a black coffee, please. Without sugar,” he said, his voice calm, yet decisive. The barista smiled and nodded. “Certainly, sir. Our black coffee is a classic choice. Especially with no sugar since it’s bold and robust, perfect for a quick pick me up. Would you like it with any specific roast?”“Go with your recommendation. I trust your judgment,” he said..“Great choice sir,” the barista grinned. “I recommend our house blend. It has a rich flavor profile with hints of chocolate and a smooth finish. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Isabella, the event organizer, gestures for Jack and Brianna to take a seat in the elegantly furnished office. The room executed an air of sophistication, with large windows offering the skyline city view.“Thank you for choosing our service for your wedding,” Isabella began her tone professional yet warm. “Let’s dive right into the details. Firstly, have you both discussed what type of wedding you envision? A grand ceremony, an intimate gathering, or perhaps something in between?”Jack, seeming deep in thought, cleared his throat as he spoke.“I prefer…a private affair. Nothing too extravagant, but elegant. That’s all.” he said, before turning his head toward Brianna. “How about you, Brianna? What do you think about it? Do you like it?”“Yes, I like it. I hate it if it's too crowded. Private is fine,” she said.“Okay, so privacy is the priority here,” Isabella nodded, jotting down notes on her table. “Now, let’s discuss about the venue. Do you have any specific location in mind? In he

Outside Jack’s house…Jack leaned against his black Mercedes, as he watched the Omega walk toward the house. Once he was certain that Brianna had entered the house, the Alpha immediately dropped all the stuff that made him look busy, and let out a rough breath.Feeling relieved that the Omega was out of his sight, remembered that he was stuck with her the whole day.“She’s already gone, but why does my wolf still feel like on the edge,” Jack mused, touching his chest, where his heart beat rapidly. Sometimes, the Alpha wishes that he could talk with his wolf like others, but sadly he can’t do that, thanks to the descendant's curse which makes it impossible. He didn’t even know what his wolf's name was, which made him give up the idea of talking with him.“I’m too old to try, anyway,” Jack mused, popping a chocolate milk candy into his mouth. Trying to divert both his mind and adrenaline with its rich sweetness. He stared slightly at the stuff in the back of his car, wondering why he ev

Back in the kitchen…Brianna stared in shock as she looked at the figure in front of her. In front of her, there stood….“Celicia?” Brianna said, her voice tinged with surprise and confusion as she recognized her beta cousin, who was now smiling at her.“Surprise to see me here?” Celicia asked, chuckling with her usual warm and friendly expression plastered on her face.Brianna nodded, still processing the unexpected encounter. “Of course, how come I don't?” she said, before looking at her back. “Anyway, how did you get in here? You didn’t break something to get in, did you?” she asked curiously. There’s no way that the Alpha might have given her his key, right?Celicia grinned. “Nah, don’t worry. I didn’t break in. I just…” she trailed off, her eyes flickering toward the window. “Let’s just say I have my ways.”Brianna arched an eyebrow, not entirely convinced but deciding not to press further. She couldn’t deny that Celicia’s skill as a beta might include some unconventional method

The dining room was filled with laughter as Brianna and Celicia shared a light moment, catching up each other’s lives. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and it was the feeling that Brianna hadn’t realized she missed until now. As they continue to reminisce about the past, suddenly Cecilia remembers something, and pats Brianna’s hand. “Hey, cousin! Do you still remember that cute pup? Your number 2 crush?” Celicia asked, a mischievous glint visible in her bright blue eyes. Briana frowned, a puzzled expression crossing her face. “Number 2 crush? Who?” Celicia grinned, her eyes twinkled with amusement. “Oh you know, that fancy guy? Patrick Joe? The hot and cute guy who was everyone’s crush?” Brianna racks her brain, recalling a vague memory of this Patrick Joe, a neighbor who she just randomly points out as her crush to stop Cecilia from wanting her to move on from Jack. Brianna actually didn’t really remember his face as there were so many teens that were cuter than him, and J

Daniel sighed harshly after his call with Jack. Frustration and concern etched across his face as he pondered the Alpha’s decision to marry the chosen one.He couldn’t shake off the feeling that this might lead to disastrous consequences for the entire pack.“Guess, I should just trust his intuition for now. It’s not like I have a better option besides kicking her out,” he muttered, pocketing his phone before his gaze focused back on the cafe’s surroundings. The Mystique cafe… Since the first time it was built it has always had both a sophisticated and classy aura. Daniel can say that it had the same vibe with other cafes, who’s under-branded companies such as Luis Vuitton cafe, as the cafe concept were targeting high class, and rich people. However that concept didn’t last long since most of the customers were more like family types. The concept shifts more, as Jack the Alpha seems to focus more on upgrading the dessert menu, than the main dish which makes this cafe… more famous w

Please make sure to call me, okay? Or else I will sneak to this place again!”“Oh, Celicia…” Brianna tightens her hug, sniffing slightly. “You don’t need to do that. You can just message, and knock like a normal wolf rather than doing that, and yes. I will definitely call you, cousin.”“Haha, well I doubt the normal part. It’s just my speciality as a beta,” Celicia chuckled, sniffling slightly. “But I can try it if you want, although I’m not going to promise it because it's not every day I can annoy you.” “Then, you must try it," Brianna smiled. "My stomach is a bit cramped because of your surprises.”Celicia wiping her tears, managing a playful glare. “Okay, I'll try it for the baby,” she said before pulling out the hug. “Anyway, I gotta get going before my mate looks for me. Jack's father took a deep, shuddering breath, his tear-streaked face a stark contrast to the composed facade he usually wore. "It all started when I first met your mother," he began, his voice thick with emotion. "She was... she was perfect. The perfect mate, the perfect fate. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on her that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."Jack clenched his jaw, trying to push down the surge of emotion threatening to overwhelm him. "To the point, Father," he interjected, his voice steely with determination. "I don't need the sentimental details."His father nodded, wiping away his tears with a shaky hand. "Of course, Jack," he said, his voice more composed now. "After we were married, we were happy. Happier than I had ever been before. And when you came along, it was like... it was like all of my dreams had come true."Jack's heart clenched at the mention of his mother, a pang of longing shooting through him like a bolt of lightning. The lighthouse door swung open, and there he was—Jack, her beacon of hope in the darkness. His voice carried a mixture of fear and relief as he called out to her, his presence flooding her with a sense of comfort she hadn't realized she'd been craving. But before Brianna could fully process Jack's arrival, Michael's sneer cut through the air like a knife. He tightened his grip on her arm, his voice dripping with contempt as he addressed Jack."So now Romeo is finally here, huh?" Michael scoffed, his eyes glittering with malice. "Well, that's classic. Never knew it would happen in real life too. And I never knew that I would be the villain. I always used to wish to be a Romeo."Jack huffed heavily, his chest heaving as he took in the scene before him. He had rushed up the stairs in a blur of desperation, fueled by the need to reach Brianna, to ensure her safety. Now, as he regained his composure, he stepped forward, his gaze fixed on Michael."Let go of her, Michael," Jack demanded, hi

"Nina didn't know the motive behind their meetings, but I believe it's clear that Sam was involved in this to elevate Nina's career by assisting Michael," he explained, his tone laced with conviction. "The timing of Brianna's disappearance and Nina's sudden rise to prominence is too much of a coincidence.
