I stepped out of the shower, dressed in a stunning piece of lingerie, and waited in the room for Xavier. But as the minutes ticked by, he didn't come to tell me that dinner was ready. Growing impatient, I decided to head downstairs to check on him.

As I descended the stairs, I was soon enveloped in a thick cloud of smoke. Coughing, I rushed to the kitchen, my eyes scanning the room for Xavier. That's when I saw it - a pot had been left on the stove, and the contents had burnt, filling the kitchen with smoke.

"Oh my goodness!" I exclaimed, quickly turning off the heat. I called out for Xavier, but there was no response. Panic began to set in as I searched the kitchen, covering my nose to avoid inhaling the acrid smoke.

My heart racing, I rushed outside, fearing the worst. Was Xavier having an episode? Had he fainted? I scanned the surrounding area, my eyes finally landing on a figure standing near the other entrance of the mansion.
