Naya's POV

Hearing that Brie Catelle’s family has been thrown out of the pack and the city comes to me as a heavy shock.

I don't know what I expected, many people have bullied me and gotten away with it. I didn't expect Brie’s bullying to be the one to suffer consequences.

Erus Bloodton is nonchalant, he didn't even look like he liked me, but he is going hard on people that have wronged me.

Mister William sees the shock on my face and he waits for me to recover. It takes a while.

“But how is that possible?” I murmur. “Brie's father is the head of the biggest bank in the city, they can't just be kicked out like that.”

“Miss Naya, I don't think that you understand how important you have gotten. The Alpha, Erus, is really serious about you. And we all have to respect his wishes.”
