SARAH'S POV THE voice came again and this time as it filled the room, I was filled with that feeling of fear and anxiety that looked to fill the room up.All that filled my mind was a way to get out through all of this , with each moment I could feel my heart echoing wildly, I was caught in a state of confusion, my heart Kept racing as I was not aware of when he would walk in.“Who is there?" The voice called out again. This time all I could feel was that fear and anxiety that looked to creep through my soul with each passing moment that looked to race through our souls. At the moment, I didn't care about the fact that I made plans already to deal with all of this. I wanted to leave and I wanted it to be immediately. The way my heart beat silently didn't change this moment, rather it was leaving me rather thrilled.I could hear the footsteps now making their way to the bathroom, where I was.As the thought ran through my soul, I pondered on what was best for me to do at that moment.
SARAH'S POV Guess I would have to wait for probably another twelve hours or less to find out if this worked or not. Lost definitely was all that filled my mind that evening as I walked back to my room, I could literally feel these different scenarios running through the back of my mind. All that I could remember was that still voice, I could remember as it was all quiet as it whispered glaringly in Abigail's feminine voice.“Be careful,” the light and very familiar voice was still at the back of my mind as I wondered if she had sold me out.All these thoughts filled my heart as I found sleep after long hours of tossing and turning, the next hours came with shimmering sunlight. That morning, I made my way out of the room still thinking about what the day held for me. Was it out of a glimmer of hope at this time , all these thoughts sank deeper through the depth of my mind, it left spaces for a feeling even deeper. All the thoughts that filled my heart was trying to fix my heavy heart
Sarah's POV I returned back to my room thinking about the story Abigail had just told me. It made me understand Liam better. Liam was only the way he was, psychotic, because he lost his wife. "I would probably behave in that same manner as well if I lose someone close to me," I said to myself. For some reason, I began to feel pity for him. He must have loved his late wife so much for him to change into a different person after her death. Suddenly, I remembered that I had to make a phone call. I wanted to call my sister, Emily so I could disclose my location to her but I had not phone with me. Liam seized my phone. As I was thinking of what to do, an idea came to my head. I quickly got up from bed and walked out of the room. Looking left and right to ensure that no one was seeing me, I snuck to the lobby. I searched the table to see if I could find a phone that I could use. Luckily for me, I found one lying on the table. I had to look around to make sure no one was looking at me a
LIAM'S POVI walked into the company premises and checked the smart watch on my wrist. I was a few minutes late for the scheduled meeting with my colleagues. I had woken up late and ran into traffic on the way too. I stepped into the elevator and clicked on the top floor button while tapping my fingers on my elbow, waiting patiently for the elevator to stop. The moment the elevator stopped and opened, I got off and quickened my pace to the office. I pushed the office door open, and immediately all eyes fell on me. A few of them held their hands over their lips to keep their giggles out of ears, but I heard them. I had expected them to give this reaction upon seeing my hair, so I wasn't surprised. "You are here quite late, sir." My assistant walked up to me before handing me a blue folder. I stared at the folder as curiosity sparked inside me. We didn't discuss anything earlier, so I wondered what it was. Without wasting much time, I nodded and opened it, scanning through the messa
LIAM'S POV Being Maggie friend, if there was anyone that had been with me in those early days after her death, it was most definitely her.Ariel had been away for a while, but at that moment she stood before me — beautiful and all, we got along really well, all pass marks for a woman that tickedaby boxes. She must had impressed everyone a lot, to the extent that all everyone did was talk about her.“When did you get back?" I had asked.I wont say I was so keen on having her there , even if I agree they shared alot of things in common aside a striking resemblance, I really had a special thing for listening to her opinion and it did counted. She didn't give any answers to what I had said but instead planted a kiss on my chin.“I got back just yesterday." She planted a kiss on my chin. She had been supportive quite alright but safe was smittened by the idea of being a more prospective woman, in ways that I couldn't understand— she was probably the reason I was still unmarried. Well i
SARAH'S POV Standing right there I was confused as I didn't Know what had come over me, why had I decided to do this and approach him in this manner, I clearly wasn't thinking. He was clearly intimidating, for a minute I could have almost laughed heavily about his ruffled pink hair but my heart was weighing too heavily at that moment.“Don't keep me waiting!" He barked out as we both were standing so close that I could perceive his scent, liquor and sweat intermixed.“I just wanted to ask if it is all fine to, you know, talk." "Of course… " he answered.I was surprised that he had said yes, it was one of those spontaneous things he did that left a hint that he was approachable.Still no matter how the situation was at that moment, I still couldn't find my word's.My heart was beating heavily —I was so confused. One moment I had thought all this was going to be easy and all that I had to do was walk up to him. I didn't know what to do at that moment, I didn't know if I was supposed t
SARAH'S POV “Yes, start explaining." He muttered. The fact that I was still trying to fix my heart that felt distant made it harder to comprehend.Like a drifting leaf, I stood there waiting for the dust to settle.Where will I be at the end of all of this?“Answer!" He grunted. As he did , he took a step forward, I had backed away slowly…I raised my eyes to see the towering figure of the as he made way into the room. At first I was startled by his arrival, wondering what had taken him so long to come apologize and he came with this twist. How did he even find the bottle! Still I couldn't take away many brute facts from the back of my head, the more I stood there still waiting, the more I was starting to sense that bit of Unease.Soon as he walked closer, he stoid right where he should be— Right before me, in a very intimidating manner. “i am sorry for doing that to you .” I spoke calmly like any other should. In my situation, Still I felt that heaviness at the back of my mind.It
SARAH'S POV It was hard and absurd trying to recollect anything that had happened over the last six hours. The moment I opened my eyes, what I felt was that sharp pain at the back of my chest that was all narrowed down to my heart that hadn't stopped pacing all through the night. It was difficult to play through my thoughts as I kept wondering why he kept treating me the way he was, the good part of it was the fact that I was starting to get used to it and the bad part?Well, the bad part was —I Scoffed, my thoughts was distracted as my the room swirled round yet it looked the same regardless, at that moment I opened my eyes slightly.“I promise you, I didn't say anything to her." I could hear Abigail's voice. I must have made an awkward movement as the two of them turned toward where I was.“Oh thank goodness you are awake ma'am."Abigail grimaced making way to the bed." What happened?” I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head.“You passed out -” she muttered.I was shocked a
