Vamir

She went limp in my arms, and foam started pouring out of her lips. I have never been more terrified in my entire life.

Sarula was hired as Stormee's assistant, but she named her Beta Female because of the way she had proved herself going around matters of the realm. The way Sary offered her hand to Stomree was something to admire because most of the elven community was wary of new people, regardless of who they were.

We have been working for about four days, and she has caught my eye. She diligently combed the pharmaceutical company's numbers, pointing out several discrepancies. She planned the visit, being smart about giving heads-up to the culprits. She instructed Stormee on our ways and protected her even against her sire.

Thanks to all the gods, Al was there and swiftly created a portal that took us into the hospita

VamirI stood up slowly and followed the doctor. "She is weak, and you will only have a few minutes," he said, and I nodded. The doctor opened a curtain, and under a flimsy hospital gown and a white sheet was lying a pale Sarula. At the sound of the curtain, she opened her beautiful eyes, and the tip of her ears blushed. I adore seeing that hue in her.I slowly walked to the edge of her bed, "Hey... you scared me." I sighed, and she bit her lower lip."Thanks for not letting me die." She softly said, and I nodded."I would never..." I sighed, and she nodded."Do you know what happened?" She asked,"The refreshments were poisoned. I don't believe the final target was you and Axelled, but the queen." I sighed and rolled out a little chair to the edge of her bed."What kind of poison?"

Stormee AdalwulfSeeing Vamir's devotion to Sarula was something I was expecting. Aelfred was surprised that his best friend had feelings for Sary, but it was only natural to me. Poor man, being around Aelfred his entire life, and suddenly all that time he devoted to the realm, wasted from chasing a bit of happiness.I briefly saw Sary and assured her that Petra, Eiry, and I would handle things. She just had to concentrate on recovering. Besides, we must find out who planned this attack because it was not only what killed Axelle, clearing my name from the contaminated product, but also having Sary poisoned, making us think that the primary target was not Axelle or Sary but me.Aelfred felt highly nervous about me leaving his side, and I felt like drowning. I needed space. Indeed, I didn't want to take unnecessary risks, but it was ridicu

SarulaVamir was my mate, and I should have been elated because, aside from being a very handsome elven man, he is a great guy... but... as usual, the big if and of my father trying to use my feelings and his to his advantage was a looming dark cloud over me.After talking with Stormee about intimate things, she and the king left the hospital, leaving me with Vamir again."You don't seem happy," Vamir said, and I shook my head,"I am just tired..." I said, and he nodded. I could tell he partially believed my words because they were partial truth."Then, have some rest. I will be right here..." He said in a tender voice, and I slowly nodded. I closed my eyes but was unable to fall asleep. My mind kept reeling, wishing I was braver like Petra, stronger like Stormee, or gorgeous like Eirula... but I was none of that. I

VamirThe kiss was out of this world. I could tell it was her first kiss, and despite her inexperience, it felt amazing. I will never forget it and treasure the connection and love we both poured into it.I have been devoted to my job, and having her with me was unexpected, but she grounded me; she made me want to be a better man for the sake of my king, my people, and my family. For the first time, the prospect of having a family felt real.I removed my shoes and cuddled her in bed. Her back pressed against my front. My fingers caressed her soft hair while my chin rested on her shoulder. I whispered sweet words, lulling her into a deep slumber. Sarula was the illegitimate daughter of Elder Audon, the bastard who ordered the poisoning of the refreshments. I was sure that much. He didn't care about her life or her destiny. The fucker had no regard for her, and I was sure when he found out she was my fated mate, he would try to use our bond to get some advantage.

VamirI have never been so nervous, not even when I have to address the entire realm with a government announcement. Today, I am taking Sary out on our first date, and despite carefully planning everything, I couldn't help but pace the room nervously. As the Chief royal Advisor, I have a lovely property close to the castle. I had purchased it and wanted Sary to love it as much as I do. I am more than ready for the next step in my life; having my mate and family seems natural.I checked the time and chuckled... I must get to my car in about ten minutes to be at her doorstep on time. I don't have Royal Blood, but my status grants me the ability to create portals like Aelfred. However, for some reason, I don't want to take any shortcuts tonight.I want to enjoy the drive under the moon and the stars... I want to enjoy soft music in the background while I hold her hands. Using a porta would be convenient but shorten the time we spend together. If I used a por

SarulaIt was a dream come true. Everything about tonight felt right: the place, the ambiance, the food, the talk, its presence, the comfort. Even when the date started a bit awkward, thanks to my nerves and the mishaps that happened around my getting ready time, his calm and soothing presence made everything better.I didn't want to admit it, but I had missed him. I wanted to be around him, I needed it. He became my center and my anchor, and I hope to be something close to that for him."Sary," he called out my name. The way it rolled out in his baritone voice made me shiver. It was something I would certainly struggle to control—my reaction to his voice, his touch, his eyes on mine."Have you missed me?" It was as if he was reading my mind. I was surprised that he was asking such questions. Isn't he this powerful Royal

VamirI kissed her tenderly, with despair. I have never felt this way about anyone in my entire life, and I never thought it would ever happen to me. I was afraid it would happen, but now that it has, I want to hold onto it for an eternity.I left her lips and rested my forehead on hers. "Sary..." I said her name in a breathless whisper. "Is it too soon?" I muttered, and she sighed."I don't know..." she answered with the same shortness of breath."Come with me..." I said, and she stood up. Lacing my fingers with hers, I led the way into the house and up the stairs to my bedroom. I could feel her trembling under my fingers, and I found it astonishing that this brilliant and confident woman would become so nervous around me.I stood outside my bedroom door and turned around to face her. SarulaI woke up in his arms and gasped. The feeling of being embraced and loved was overwhelming. I was an illegitimate daughter of a mighty man; I was raised to believe that I didn't deserve love or care. I grew up yearning precisely that, and now that I have found it, that our gods have gifted me with this beautiful bond, I feel overwhelmed and unworthy. He kissed my shoulder tenderly, and I sighed. Shivers and goosebumps covered my skin. "Morning..." he said in a deep voice,I turned around in his arms and smiled at him, "Hey..." I said softly. Now that I was facing him, I was lost in his mesmerizing swirling eyes. He leaned forward and pecked my lips. His fingers trailed my arm up and down."Best night ever..." he said softly, and I blushed. And so far, the best morning is so long..." He took a deep breath, making me bite my lips."Likewise..." Elder AudonThere was not a strong word to describe how I felt right now. Everyone in the council, except my loyal Aegnor, greeted the intruder queen with warmth and joy.I tried to force the king to take Kasula as a breeder, but he openly refused. Even when no law forced the king to take an elven queen, I was trying to appeal to the purity of our blood and magic, so the council would force him to take an elven breeder.Even with the blood argument, the council decided to ignore my concerns and allow the king to do as he pleased. The people loved the foreign queen. I have heard that she has built a new way of doing things, and help, aid, and solace have reached the masses quickly. That woman is dangerous—dangerous to my plans. That young woman and her ideas and ways are starting to change things, and it was imperative to reach the masses in need so I could come and pass as the solution to their problems.Instead, the people have embraced her,

AelfredIt was a new experience to have the Alphas in our offices. We did it discreetly so we wouldn't raise suspicions about our backup plan. They understood the current political situation and agreed to this type of meeting. We showed them the facilities via live video provided by Blass, and they were impressed with the companies. We finished, and Eulisses and Peter wanted to see Storm. So, I created a portal for Thomas and Timothy and led them to their packs. We agreed to come to their packs to check the distribution center within two weeks, and with that, we parted ways.Vamir looked at me. "Sary is taking a toll..." He said, and I nodded."Storm noticed..." I said, and he nodded."Thanks for the vacation..." he chuckled."It's our pleasure, Vamir. You are my right hand and best friend. You are my family, and I have learned from Storm that family comes first. We look after family... always." I said, and he nodded."Thanks... you k

Stormee AdalwulfThe following morning, Al and I headed to the office. We had a lot to do. First, I plan to catch up on all the ongoing audits. Sary has been swamped at work and has made some interesting discoveries. Then, I had a meeting with Galabriel and Aerin. They want to discuss my coronation ceremony. I will also meet with Eiry to see the advances in all the social and community development projects. Later, we will include a meeting with the Education Board to improve the quality of education and round up the program with art and sports. Kids need to be kids, after all. Also, I have several observations regarding the women's archery program. It was well received, but we need Myriad to move faster with women-friendly facilities to implement it. I need to raise that concern with Aelfred. If anyone could make it happen, it would be my mate, the king.Al walked into his office, and I moved to mine. Sary walked in, and her eyes looked tired. "Hey, how i

AelfredStormee´s presentation was a success overall. Once the session ended, Galabriel and Aerin monopolized my mate's attention. I could tell both women were mesmerized by Stormee.Elrond stood beside me, his head held high and his demeanor proud. "Your father would have been proud of you," he said, and I looked at him. He was one of my dad's best friends, and unlike Audon, he mentioned my father quite often. It was as if, by saying this, he strived to keep his memory alive."Do you think so?" I asked, and he nodded."I know so.""Aego was my childhood friend..." Elrond sighed, "He would have wanted you to be happy," he said, and I nodded."I am happy..." I sighed, staring at my mate, unable to form words to convey that happy is a word that falls short where she is concerned."He was, too, with your mother..." Elrond said, and I gave him a court nod."Audon is not happy. Beware of him," he said, and I took a deep breath

I slowly nodded and gulped down the nerves and the feeling of vomiting. I am a freaking princess... now a queen... I can do this!I gave him a small smile, and he chuckled. "Relax. You already know the nastiest of the bunch. " He leaned forward and kissed my temple. I chuckled, and with that, he eased my nerves. He nodded to the guard, knocked on the door, and announced us as if we were entering a medieval court. People stood up to greet us. I wrapped my arm around Al's, and with steady footsteps, keeping my chin up, I descended the broad aisle.I could see people looking at me with curiosity; some scoffed, and others regarded me with respect but not fondness. AelfredAfter talking to Vamir, I knew what had to be done. Stormee is my mate, and nothing stops me from making her my queen. Our traditions and laws are very ambiguous about this particular matter. It is considered a blessing that the king mates with his fated mate; it is regarded as good luck and prosperity to do so.Never in a million years has there been a mating between an elven king and a werewolf princess, and that is where the void in our traditions and laws resides. It is inferred that the queen must be an elven woman, but it is not written. I could see the divided opinions, but I must yield their will to accept Stormee as their ruler for my realm, happiness, and mate.Storm is a bright young woman with modern ideas. As the law states, she is a true blessing in my life and the lives of our people. She has been busy with Eiry, supervising the orphanages, schools, and playgrounds. Sary has been dealing with a pharmaceutical company, and she comes

AudonI can do it again; nothing is stopping me now. My plan worked perfectly, and I have been carefully planning and executing it for a lifetime. It all began with broken dreams and unfulfilled expectations. Aego was my best friend; we were part of a high-ranking elite of students. We were decisive and capable, and when King Faelyn grew old and had no descendants, the council invited all elite students to participate in the trials. The Royal Trials were an ancient tradition that allowed the ruling king to find an heir without a direct descendant. King Faelyn was my uncle; I believed he would first look into his bloodline, but instead, he ordered the council to summon the people to participate in the Trials. It was the first time I felt the pain of betrayal deep within my soul. My own family, my uncle, would rather have a stranger ruling the realm instead of his blood. But I knew I was capable, and I was among the summoned elites who had the opportunity t

AelfredVamir asked me for a day off, which was an oddity. I wanted to know precisely what was happening but wouldn't dare intrude into his business. It sounded like a personal motive. Thus, I refrained from bothering him with my curiosity or questions during the entire day. But today was a different story; he was back, and I was ready to dig up what had happened. As his king, I worry about all my subjects, but as his friend, I am particularly worried about him. He and Sary are mates doing an undercover job that might take a toll on their personal lives... I need to ensure that this mission does not take away from them what they have built for their future."You are very pensive," My mate wrapped her arms around my waist."Just thinking about Vamir..." I blurted, and she pouted,"And I thought I occupied all your thoughts," She said, and I chuckled."Of course, you are my first and last thought of my day... you have been for an eternity..." I pecke

SarulaVamir is a fantastic man by the gods—one I don't deserve, but he makes me worthy of him. His sole presence, love, and the tenderness with which he treats me—all of him—makes me want to improve. His words and attitude made me feel he thinks highly of me and believes in me.I can't, and I won't let him down. Not now, not ever. The way he explained the damage Audon had caused, the way he tenderly explained how Audon had used forbidden magic on me. A magic that is not permitted to practice because it causes irreparable damage, a magic that always asks for a price... He used my mother's blood as a price... he used my mate's blood to break the bond and to destroy me."I won't force you to stay," he said, interrupting my thoughts and returning me to the present. My body trembled. The idea of losing him, of leaving him, terrified me. It was a paralyzing feeling that made it hard to breathe."Vamir..." I said, tears running down my
