CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX

WARNING: VIOLENT SCENCES

Tori’s POV

The swelling around my head and jaw where I had been hit hurt like h*ll. My legs had turned numb and I was sure there was a purpling bruise around my ankles just like they were around my wrists. My vision kept going in and out of focus. I was already partially blind without my glasses, the dim lighting only worsened the situation.

Dara had gone out again to receive some call and everytime she came back, her mood worsened. She became agitated. She’d given me two kicks in the ribs because I had breathed too loud, sending me sprawling on the floor. I was hurting everywhere but my survival was paramount. I wasn’t sure anyone was coming to save me so, I had to save myself, if there was even any chance at all that I was going to make it.
