LIKE YOU CAN

Alexis couldn't hold back her tears as she made her way to the roadside. Her heart ached badly after all that Eric said. She knew more than anyone that Eric had a missing girlfriend, but she wanted to still try her luck. She told with the few hours they spent every day that she was finally getting his attention and heart. Hearing him reject her so publicly hurt. She can't even remember when last she cried. She did cry, but tears of joy, not heartbreak.

Boys at her school worshiped her. They all wanted to date her, but Eric didn't have a second thought before rejecting her. He just said those words so easily.

“Who is this girl, and how can she have so much impact on a man? What does she have that I don't? Or is she richer than i?” She couldn't think straight…

As she got to the roadside, she waved her hand in the air. It was a signal for Frank, their personal driver.

And while she was waiting, some group of boys were passing and heard her sobbing.

“No, you go.” One of the boys said
