Chapter Twenty-Seven

SEBASTIAN KEATES: Hey

SEBASTIAN KEATES: Can you come over?

It was an unusual text to be received from Seb so early. Especially considering the fact that they hadn’t spoken to each other ever since the last day of volunteering.

Alex: Um, why?

His reply came in few minutes later.

SEBASTIAN KEATES: I’m going shopping for my birthday party and could use an extra hand

SEBASTIAN KEATES: You wouldn’t be attending anyways.

SEBASTIAN KEATES: It’s the least you could do with me, don’t you think?

Alex fought the urge to roll his eyes as he texted his reply.

Alex: Fine, I’ll be there.

SEBASTIAN KEATES: I could pick you up if you want

Alex: You don’t have to. I can manage.

SEBASTIAN KEATES: I’ll be expecting you then

He slid his phone down his pocket and got up from his bed, grabbing a hoodie resting by his bedside. He had taken his bath and was all freshened up. Having no class he had decided on spending his entire day indoors, literally expecting no interruptions.
