“Alex?” Sophia failed to hide her surprise as Alex shut the door behind him and walked towards her. Her eyebrows were knitted as immediately Alex stood in front of her, she quickly broke into a smile. “You’re here? It’s late. Luck was truly not on Seb’s side as after they spent the whole day working and were ready to head to their hotel rooms for the night, two announcements were made. One, they were going to be sleeping in tents and not in hotel rooms. The following day came and the whole volunteering was finally rounded up. Alex left Seb’s pissed and got home even more irritated. He just couldn’t understand Seb. He had no reason to be that dramatic when he was just trying to show him he also had friends he could hang out with. It had been a stressful week, shuffling between exams and rounding up all assignments and projects due for the end of the semester. None of them could remember the order with which they left Alex’s room but all they could recall was all getting into Carol’s car and in no time, getting to the hospital. It was late already and Seb had almost given up on Alex returning his calls when he finally had his phone ring, signifying an incoming call from him. He was probably unable to sleep, still worried about everything that happened so fast and finally ready to speak to him, he thought and without hesitation, swiped to pick the call. "Hey." The next few weeks went by rather quickly.It was the finally the first day of a new semester and both Alex and Seb were fully prepared. Immediately after breakfast, Alex and Seb stepped out of their hotel room to get into the car to head to Alex’s old home. The ride was silent and Seb could easily notice how nervous Alex was. At intervals, he pressed his lips together, rubbed his palms against each other and had sighs escape his lips an unusual amount of times. Seb on the other hand, wasn’t sure on how to feel.
