Chapter 37. They are Mates

"He has it," Albert said upon seeing Jayden after escorting Ryn to her room.

Jayden frowned, thinking for a moment about who Albert was talking about.

"Walter, he has the parchment," Albert explained as he swing his legs towards the library.

"Walter?" Jayden's jaw dropped. His footsteps quickly followed the Alpha. "It wouldn't surprise me if he knew about the prophecy, but about the parchment... I think he hid it from your father," he continued.

Albert entered the library and went straight to one of the shelves where his father's book was kept. He brought it to the table and opened it.

"What are you looking for?" asked Jayden.

"I must have missed something in this book," Albert said.

The Alpha flipped through the pages and read them carefully. Christian wrote everything he knew about the prophecy in detail in the book. Albert hoped to find other clues in the book. He did not want to rashly kill Bloodwolf before getting the parchment and knowing what was written in the prophecy.
