Ninety eight

Back in Zephyr's pack, Jane was walking down the hallway when she saw Lucian. She increased her pace inorder to get to her room faster.

She had been avoiding Lucian since the day they kissed and he rejected her. She was avoiding him out of hurt and anger. She didn't want to see him as she doubted she'd be able to control herself.

"Hey," Lucian stopped right in front of her.

"Is there any problem, Lucian?" She asked without battling an eye. She wanted to show him that he didn't affect her as much any longer.

"Can we talk?" Lucian asked.

"I believe we're already talking. Say whatever you've come to say. I am busy." Jane retorted sharply. She didn't appreciate Lucian's behavior. One day he'll be good to her and the next, he'll treat her like a deadly contagious disease. He was giving her mixed emotions and she didn't like it.

"Look, I'm sorry." Lucian apologized. Since the day he treated her wrongly, his wolf and his conscience had not let him be.
