“Let’s have some fun, Dragon Emperor!” Bilgrae lowered his posture into a fighting stance. His eyes were locked onto Raisya and only Raisya.Raisya responded by getting into a fighting stance as well. “I said get out of here. I’ll handle this. I’m getting fired up too now.”Sara was still hesitant. “Are you sure? I could-”“You’ll only be a hindrance. Now go!” Raisya was actually angry now.Sara thought again about it for a second before finally decided to do as instructed. Once Sara left the area, Raisya turned her eyes back to Bilgrae, but her attention was always on him.“She’s finally gone, huh?”“Seriously, she really thinks that she could help me? I have to thank you for not attacking while she ran.”“More than welcome. Even if I did, you’d stop me anyway.”“Yeah. Anyway, shall we begin?” Raisya pulled her right fist back and put her left foot in front.“Yes. Come at me- Guh!?”Bilgrae felt a powerful blow in his abdomen. When he glanced down, he saw Raisya’s much smaller body c
“Damn those Emperors!” Bronto slammed his fist on the command table out of rage. Cracks appeared on it.“They acted much faster than anticipated. It would’ve been good if Crymillia dn Bilgrae could kill those Hunters. Well, at this point, we don’t really need them anymore.” Pearl said while looking at the progress bar that was almost full. If put into percentage, it was about 97%.Bront let out a short sigh. “Hah, you’re right. It’s already this late into the war. We’re already close to achieving our objective.” He looked at the screen which showed the fight between Bilgrae and Raisya. It was clear to him that Raisya was going to win. Their mission was not to win anyway so it was fine.“That aside, the Colossi making a move is certainly unnatural. Why did they join? And why at the same time? Not just that, even Roosevelt is… Damn it, I’m just not good at commanding, huh?” Bronto cursed at himself for being incompetent.Pearl patted his head while hugging him. “It’s okay brother. Every
About 8 hours since the war started and the sun was setting. The armies of the nations had managed to push back the Scarlett Army after much struggle. The Scarlett Army was retreating and those that didn’t get teleported were hunted down or captured as prisoners of war.Cries and cheers of victory resounded from the soldiers. The Colossi that assisted them had returned to their abodes. Words of gratitude came from the soldiers as they watched the Colossi walk or flew or swam away. The crisis in the bunkers were also neutralised thanks to the knights and Hunters working together. Although there had been a quarrel between the citizens, it was soon resolved by themselves. All in all, the war ended with their victory and the Scarlett Army’s loss. Prays to their God and words of gratitude toward the Hunters and soldiers came from the citizens. Flags and banners of each nation flapped in the wind of their battlefield while the flag of the Scarlett Empire was on the ground. The commanders of
Somewhere in the desert of San Coro where Megat’s hideout was located.Megat, Shiro and Freeze were outside of the house. The reason for this was huge, Colossal actually.“Thanks for lending a hand. Pass on our gratitude to the others as well, would you?” Megat said to the giant beast in front of him.“It was not easy to convince everyone. The only reason they agreed was because of a common enemy. Some of us were killed by them after all.” Falynx said.Falynx was currently on the ground with its body curled around like a snake. Its wings were folded under it. Its voice was deep.“We owe you one. If there’s anything we can do-”“Hah! As if you can do anything for us.” Falynx said proudly. “However, I believe all of the Colossi would not mind fighting against the Scarlett Army again in the future.”“I’d appreciate that. We definitely will be needing your help.” Megat said.“Right. I will be on my way then. Farewell.”“Yeah, good bye.”After exchanging farewells, Falynx uncurled its body
It has been a week since the war.Cecilia and Yuki were standing in front of their mansion. It was partially destroyed and was already being fixed. Construction workers were working on the mansion.“When do you think it will be finished?” Cecilia asked.“I don’t know. If they use magic, maybe just a few more days. If it’s like this, maybe a few more weeks.” Yuki answered. They were both wearing thick clothing. Winter had arrived shortly after the war, but the workers were still working on the mansion.“Shouldn’t you be busy with noble stuff?” Yuki asked Cecilia.“Right now everyone is just dealing with their own regions. The region I’m in charge of sustained the least damage so I’m not as busy. A lot of damage was in the north and western regions.”“Your parents are busier huh.”“Mmhmm.”Their short conversation momentarily ended there. They were just watching the workers do their job. There was almost no-one walking on the streets either. Just a few carriages passing by every few min
In a dense forest that had no leaves nor life to be seen, two figures were having a jog in the snow. One was taller than the other. Their pacing was about the same even with their difference in height. The tall one was a golden haired young man with heterochromia eyes of bright blue and golden irises. He was only wearing a white tracksuit in this cold weather. His right hand was that of a lizard’s or rather, a dragon with red scales. The short one was a girl who seemed to be around 15 years old. She had darker skin and was also wearing a tracksuit, only green in colour. Her hair was short and also dull green and she had a pair of tiny horns on her head.“How many laps have we done already?” Chloe, the green haired girl, asked and was out of breath.“I think three? Hey, hang in there! Just two more laps!” Matthew, the man in white suit, said to Chloe.“I’m so tired! My legs are killing me!” Chloe’s pace was slowing down because she was wobbling as her motivation was dying out.“Then w
Three months later.“Grr!!” Matthew groaned as he was doing push ups with a large boulder tied to his back.“Come on Matt, just fourteen more.” Then there was also Raisya on top of the boulder.“This is nothing!”“Good then. Let’s add another ten.”“What?!” Matthew snapped his head back to look at Raisya, but he couldn’t see past the giant boulder.“I thought it was nothing?” Raisya smirked.“Don’t bring down my motivation like that!” Matthew shouted at his grandmother.Raisya smiled happily with her eyes closed. “You can do it~”Raisya looked at the night sky and reminisced about the past few months.Matthew had cleared her training at a very quick pace. It has only been in the recent week that he slowed down a bit.(Well, he’s already trained since he was a child, so he’s practically just picking up where he left off. Since Rin was the one mostly training him, I think the method is okay. But his physical condition is pretty much that of a normal human’s.)It was the reason that Matt
Matthew and Raisya were standing in front of the cave while waving at Platinum and Guinevere who were flying away. Once they were far away, Matthew put down his hand and Raisya did the same.“Didn’t really feel like I just met the queen of elves.” Matthew said.“Well, she didn’t come as the queen anyway, rather just a friend that Plat brought.” Raisya said. “So, what do you plan on doing now?”“I think I’ll go with Queen Guinevere’s suggestion. Gain trust, get stronger, prove my worth. Then, I’ll find Rose.”“I see. How do you plan on gaining trust though?” Raisya asked as she turned around to go back into the cave.Matthew followed her suit. “I have no idea to be honest. I’ll mull it over though. For now, all I can do is keep training. To declare myself as a Dragon Emperor, I need the power to prove it, right?”Raisya nodded as if she expected this. "Huh, that's right.”“Then I’ll be in your care, grandma. I at least want to beat you if I want to do this.”“Heh! Good luck with that.
