Rose had significantly recovered from her trauma thanks to Matthew. Now she was sitting in the library, reading books as she usually would on a normal day. The book she was reading was titled: King of Chaos, The Scarlett King.
The contents were about the characteristics of Leviticus Scarlett, his life story, his uprising and his end. Details including his family and empire were also written. Rose had the past few days learning about it.
The door squeaked open and Matthew entered the library. He looked at the wall where the paint was not really matching in colour to the rest of it. Then he walked towards the table where Rose was sitting.
“What volume are you on now?” He asked as he pulled a chair opposite of Rose to sit on.
“The last one. It’s just everything about the Scarlett War.”
