Chapter 284

Richard got back to the living room to meet Emily, who was busy with their son. Today was her day with him, and she was extremely excited to share every second of the day together with him. They were in the living room, clearly waiting for his arrival.

He walked into the room and got welcomed by a warm hug and squeal of excitement. All through the years he stayed married to Barbara, she never welcomed him in such manner and this made him realize what he was missing out as a married man.

He placed a soft kiss across Emily’s lips after which he gave her the flower which got her excited. She screamed in excitement, until her eyes shifted to the double envelope he held in the other hand.

“Two envelopes?” She asked with a questioning glare, while he nodded and brought out the contents of the first.

“This is the divorce papers! I can’t wait for her to sign on these and get done with me. Thoughts of her sends cold feelings down my spine”, Richard confessed, and Emily broke into loud laughter
