Naya’s P.O.V

Talon’s reaction towards Nelson made me think that I was finally out of the hot seat that Nelson placed me on. But, I was wrong. Talon took me upstairs to the room. His facial reaction broke me. He had that look that showed he was going to blow up. He was mad, not just at Nelson but also at me.

“What is wrong with you?” he asked me in a cold tone.

“I don’t get you,” I said calmly.

“How would you get me? You never get me. You just go around doing whatever pleases you. You don’t listen to me!” he yelled.

“What have I done wrong?”

“Everything!” he shouted. “Why do you always have to be so stupid?”

“You’ve been saying mean words to me, but I still don’t get what I did wrong.”

“Really?” he said. I nodded in agreement.

“We only just got here yesterday, yet you think you could just start talking to Nelson. I don’t wanna see you getting into any conversation with him.”

“You didn’t even ask about how it happened.”

“I don’t care! Just stay out of the way of my brother. Don’t try ge

Naya’s P.O.VTalon had every right to be mad at me for not telling him who Kael really was. I was wrong for keeping it away from him. I had to fix things myself. I got into such a messy situation and only I could really bring myself out of it. So I thought. Meeting Kael for a heart to heart talk was totally out of the options I had to fix things. I didn’t want to set my eyes on him, ever. Talon was at the office. He was supposed to have a meeting at work. I wanted to speak to him, but I lacked the courage to. I didn’t want us to go into our usual sad mood. It was as if speaking to him was a readiness to argue, shout or cry. I was prepared to leave the building and cancel my plans of talking to Talon.**********Talon’s P.O.VA heavy sound came from no particular direction in my office building. I tried to find out where the noise had come from, but I couldn’t. The whole building was shaking like it was going to fall. The tension in the building rose above cloud 9. Everyone ran for th

Talon’s P.O.VI managed to open my eyes even though I found it difficult. My head was hurting badly. The little girl that I was trying to save was on the floor, unconscious. She was in my arms. I felt a liquid-like substance dripping from my head. I touched my head to see what it was. My head was bleeding profusely. With all the power I had left in me, I pushed some of the rocks that were hindering me and the little girl from escaping from the building. I succeeded in pushing the rocks away. The little child was in shock. I tried to pick her from the floor so we could leave the building. But, I was a little too late. One of the rocks fell on the poor child. Instantly, she was crushed into pieces. My heart was broken. I was too weak to cry, too weak to express what I was feeling. There wasn’t anyone to tell it to. I lost the child without even getting to know who her parents were.I was feeling dizzy and I needed to get out of the crushed building by all means. I pushed every other

Naya’s P.O.VIt took three days before Talon was able to finally open his eyes. I couldn’t contain my excitement. My silent prayers were finally answered. I wanted Talon back, and he really did come back to me. I was so happy that I hugged him tightly, not minding if he could still be in some form of pains. I just wanted to hold him close. My reactions made things absurd. I had concluded that Talon was going to snap at me, because it seemed like he didn’t want the hug. I pulled away from him.Surprisingly, Talon pulled me closer to him, and back into his arms. He held my face and caressed it gently. He made me look directly into his eyes. When I did, he kissed me passionately. I kissed him back, more passionately. Just then, the door swung open. Nelson walked in on us, majestically.“How nice... You’re finally awake,” he said to Talon. He dipped his hands into his pocket and brought out his phone. He called Eric and then his wife. He told them Talon was awake. I could hear Eric’s v

Eric’s P.O.VHow did this even happen? Who did such evil to my daughter-in-law? I watched the nurses as they were all in a haste to get her body into the emergency room. I stood with my mouth wide open. Was she dead or just unconscious? If she was alive, I couldn’t imagine the pain she was feeling. Her husband was lying on the bed still in the process of recovery, and now she had to go through such pains without him by her side. The nurses where running here and there, I couldn’t pick out any of them to talk to.Thirty minutes later, the doctors and nurses came out of the theatre. I approached one of the nurses. She was a blonde beauty. A tall lady with a shiny bright colored skin. She looked smart in her uniform. We moved to a corner to avoid gaining too much attention from passer-bys. “Hello, nurse,” I said to her.“Hello, sir,” she responded calmly.“The lady you just operated on is my daughter-in-law. I want to know what happened to her. Please, tell me,” I said. She saw how wor

Talon’s P.O.VOne week passed and I was finally free to leave the hospital. I wasn’t given the full details of what happened to Naya but somehow I found out how fragile she had become. She didn’t want anyone else but me to touch her. The doctor revealed to me that she was traumatized. I had a hand carrier around my neck due to the fact that my neck bone got broken during the accident at the office building. My personal chauffeur drove us home. It felt good to be home with Naya by my side.Despite how tired we both were, none of us fell asleep even till evening. We were both lying on the bed, backing each other. I turned to face Naya who was still backing me.“How are you doing, Naya,” I asked. Those were the only words I could utter at that time. I knew she wasn’t sleeping because I could hear her practiced breathe.“Fine,” she said. She turned to face me and then she sat on the bed. All her focus was placed on me.“Are you sure about that?” I asked with concern.“Yes. I guess I am.

Talon’s P.O.V It dawned on me that I had to do something to save the company. Since I had utmost control over the company’s account, I locked every accessible part of the company through my laptop. No one else but me could access anything in the company’s profile. I picked up my phone and called the military forces. I told them about the account that was hacked and how they needed to do something about it. Whoever hacked the account was after me personally, I said to them. The battle was between me and the hacker.“Talon, what’s going on?” Naya asked. I kept mute. “C’mon, tell me what’s wrong.”“Nothing, Naya.”“You can’t tell me nothing’s wrong. Something is definitely wrong. I’ve notice your discomfort and I care, that’s why I’m asking,” she said.I really wished that she could just let me be without me having to tell her to. I needed my time and space. Naya’s P.O.VMy mind was not at ease. I was worried about Talon’s whereabouts. He hadn’t told me where he was going or when he would be coming before he left the house. I hoped that he was fine wherever he was. I thought of making him relaxed when he got back. I put on a red sexy lingerie and lay on the bed to wait for him. I was willing to wait for him. It didn’t matter how long it was going to take before his return. I fell asleep while waiting for Talon. I felt a touch on my ass while I was still sleeping. I woke up to find Talon grabbing my ass. He held it so firmly that it made my body tingle. I looked at the door and realized that it was locked. I was still staring at the door when Talon kissed me on the lips. I kissed him back. After all we were just partners in crime. There was nothing serious between us. It was just business and sex. He was going to pay me for my services. I really wanted to take his words seriously, but I just couldn’t. The thought of the business deal we had together made me believe otherwise. Even if he wanted to protect me, it was for his own selfish interest. Once I give him a child, he was certainly going to kick me out.****************Talon’s P.O.V“Dad, someone wants to hurt me. He has been attacking me,” I said to my dad, when we were finally together.“What? How’s that possible?”“I don’t know. But, it has got nothing to do with Kael. Kael’s in jail. He can’t be the attacker.”“What makes you think he isn’t the attacker? TalonAfter years of ups and downs, heartbreaks and makeups, we finally made it. Our love story has come full circle and I couldn't be happier to have Naya by my side. She was everything to me. Life was a lot better with her around. I could’ve never imagined that things would be subtle between us. Judging by the way we met, I had never thought that we would ever be together, forever. I was happy that we finally got to end up together after everything that had happened in the past. The villains in our lives were all eliminated, and we did it all because we stood by each other. It was difficult in the beginning as all I could think about was my hatred towards Naya. I could remember how I couldn't even stare at her in the face. The fact that thing took a turn made me realize that we were meant for each other. We've been through so much together, from the moment we first laid eyes on each other in the weirdest position to our emotionless wedding day. Our first wedding was a disaster,

Talon's POVLife was a lot better without Nelson around. For the first time, Naya and I felt secured. It felt like there were no villains in our lives anymore. Five months after the whole drama with Nelson, I realized that we had moved on. The house was bubbling with excitement. My dad was no longer in so much shock. He had been heartbroken when Nelson was sentenced to jail, but things changed. His mood became a lot lighter and he wasted no time in showing how happy he was. On the other hand, I was going from left to right to make sure everything goes right with Naya. I didn’t want her to encounter any form of stress. She needed to be fine. After all, she was soon going to be a mother and, me a father. Soon enough, we were going to be holding our bundle of joy in our hands. Talon’s POVThe next day, I woke up early to make sure I was ready for the court hearing. I knew it was going to be a difficult day, but I was determined to see it through. Naya was feeling better after a good night's sleep, but she was still nervous about what was to come.As we drove to the courthouse, I could feel the tension in the air. Naya was clutching my hand tightly, her eyes darting around nervously. I tried to reassure her as best I could, telling her that everything was going to be okay. When we arrived at the courthouse, we were ushered into a small room where we waited for the hearing to begin. The minutes ticked by slowly, and I could feel Naya getting more and more anxious. Finally, the judge entered the room, and the hearing began. Nelson was brought in, looking sullen and defeated. He had already been found guilty of attempted murder on a pregnant woman, and we were there to hear his sentence. The judge wasted no time in handing down his decision. "Nelson, based on t

Naya’s POVI couldn't believe what had just happened. One moment, we were all sitting at the diner, laughing and chatting away, and the next, Nelson tried to convince my personal maid to poison me. What did I ever do to him? Why did he have to hate me so much? Sometimes, people just die without knowing that they are falling for a trap. The trap in my case was the one that Nelson set for me. But, I was lucky that the maid didn’t let it happen. Soon enough, Talon called Eric and he was in the house in no time. Eric slapped Nelson across the face when Talon narrated everything to him. The sound of the slap echoed through the room, and everyone fell silent. I was in shock, my eyes wide as I stared at Eric. Eric didn't say anything, just stood there with his jaw clenched. Nelson, on the other hand, looked stunned. He put a hand to his cheek, which was now red and stinging.Talon immediately went into action, trying to calm me down. "Hey, it's okay," he said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

Talon's POVThe maid who was supposed to bring extra food for Naya was delaying and I wasn’t finding it funny. Why was she taking so much time? Worse still, Nelson was in the kitchen with her. I didn’t want to think that Nelson was up to something bad. I didn’t think that way because I believed that he wouldn’t want to harm me in my own house. But, as time went on, Naya grew more and more impatient, and I could no longer try to calm her down. She just needed to be given food. She couldn't control the anger she was feeling inside. "Where is the maid? I'm starving. It's been an hour since she said she would bring me food,” Naya said in frustration.I got up from the couch and walked towards the dining room, curious to see what was going on. As I tried to enterthe kitchen, I saw the maid standing nervously by the door. She had a tray of food in her hands, but she seemed reluctant to bring it to Naya."Naya, the maid is here with your food," I said, trying to ease the tension in the ro

Talon's POVNaya apologized for leaving like that and told me everything. My heart swelled with relief and happiness as she poured out her heart to me. I was worried sick about her. But now, she was finally back in my arms and telling me everything that had happened. As I listened to her story, I couldn't help but worry if she was really fine. She seemed so vulnerable and fragile, and the thought of anything happening to her tore at my heartstrings. Even if she assured me that she was doing just fine, I couldn't completely believe her. The next day, I decided to do something special for Naya. I was going to get her an engagement ring, and marry her again without her knowledge. I knew it was a little unconventional, but I wanted to show her how much I loved her and how committed I was to our relationship. Naya’s POVWe watched a movie together. After the movie, when we were getting ready for bed, Talon finally spoke up. "I'm sorry I got so angry earlier," he said, looking at me. "I

Naya's POVAfter Talon calmed down, I explained everything to him about my dinner with Nelson. I told him that we had talked about the property dispute and that Nelson had agreed to end the fight between them. But Talon didn't trust Nelson at all and assumed that he was up to something.I tried to reassure Talon that he had nothing to worry about and that everything would be fine. I even joked that he should make me something to eat, which made him laugh. But despite his laughter, I could tell that he was still feeling uneasy about the situation. As Talon went into the kitchen to make me something to eat, I settled down to watch a movie. But my relaxation was short-lived when I received a call from work. I was needed at the office immediately to meet with a very famous celebrity who was interested in signing a contract with my modeling design company.I rushed out of the house without telling Talon, hoping to make it to the office on time. Naya's POVI met Nelson in a restaurant for dinner, hoping to catch up on lost time and rebuild our friendship. But the conversation took a strange turn, and before I knew it, we were discussing Talon and his ongoing property dispute with his brother. When Nelson arrived, I could see the guilt in his eyes. He knew that he had let his down, and he didn't know how to make things right. That was my own version of the look I saw on his face. I asked him why he hadn't been there for me when I needed him the most, and he told me that he was afraid of making things worse. I was taken aback by his response. I had never thought that Nelson was the kind of person who would be afraid of confronting his problems head-on. But I could see that he was genuinely sorry for his behavior, and I decided to forgive him.I couldn't help but feel frustrated and confused about why Talon was still fighting with his brother, even though he had already won the property. It seemed like a petty and unnecessary c

Talon's POVI rushed Naya to the hospital. She had passed out due to stress, and I was extremely worried about her. I couldn't get the picture of her smiling towards me before she passed out, out of my head. I wanted her to be okay and free from any form of stress. I loved her and she was carrying my child. I had every reason to protect her. The hospital staff did their best to reassure me that she would be fine, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of helplessness that I felt at that moment. Deep down, I wanted to shake the feeling off my head. I wanted to be normal and hope for the best. But, my fears piled up. I didn’t want anything bad to happen to the woman I loved or my baby. They both had a special place in my heart, and I was not ready to replace them. I knew at some point that I had to be strong for Naya. When Naya finally woke up, I knew that it was time for us to have a heart-to-heart conversation. I gently encouraged her to open up to me and tell me what was on her mind.
